But his year they would. yay! Wearing a mask, so my glasses are all foggy, I went in, had a very nice experience with the young lady who helped me pick out all the things I needed - like, these frames require the polycarbonate lenses, scratch-insurance, etc. My glasses will be ready BY the 30th. Great. So I get an email, a text, a call, an SMS message -- all telling me my new glasses are in. EARLY Hot Diggity Dog!. I go to the mall, all the stores on that side are closed; quite the creepy walk. They open the glasses-case. Not My Quite Expensive Frames! Not only Not My Glasses, they're some dude's horrible 70s-era-looking huge clunky things. Bill Haverchuck wore these in Freaks&Geeks, I think! Now I'm upset. They tell me they'll look with the lab, (no on-site lab anymore, sux) the other stores all over the state. They WILL find my glasses. Nope. 3 days later, the store manager calls me, says come in pick out new frames, they'll express my glasses. Guaranteed still by the 30th. I got a call Saturday Morning (the 30th), they "found" my old glasses, come get them. I get there... not my old frames, new Rx in the Technolite frames I'd picked out on Wednesday. It's nice that I now have glasses I can wear without getting a headache, but I don't really appreciate being lied to. So, overall. I got glasses I can wear, but they LOST my frames then lied to me about finding them.

I have been going to Eye Care Associates for 30 years and this past year the competence of the new optician has hit rock bottom. From not saving my new order and reordering what was on file using the wrong benefit plan, to telling me that had the benefit reverse and attempting to place a new order they couldn't get it right. After over 3 weeks I gave up. Rodie is stuck cleaning up their incompetent mess and getting my benefits straightened out. I will continue to see the doctors there, but not order glasses or contact lenses at the office. Also, the way the younger staff dresses it appears like they roll out of bed and pull on what ever clothes are on the floor. Their appearance doesn't instill confidence.

Randy is fantastic! He examined my eyes and spent a lot of time explaining my condition and treatment options, if needed in the future. He put my mind at ease. Only Lenora gets 5 stars. And I can't include her in the stars for this review, because it is a highly negative review. Lenora is the only one at that office we saw who cares about the patients at all. Let's start at the top. We drove 45 minutes in white-out conditions to Flagstaff. It was raining, the clouds were covering the roads. Snow was all over the shoulders. We white knuckled all the way up there. What a horrible, scary trip that was. Almost got killed a half dozen ways by stupid drivers and road conditions and lack of visibility. No, the weather is not the doctor's fault.... not yet. So we arrive a bit early, and were kibbitzing with Lenora about the foul weather and how we hoped it didn't get any worse while we were waiting for the doctor, because it was almost impossible getting there. She commiserated with us, and was very sweet and understanding when we mentioned the reception area was quite full and very overheated, and asked if we could wait outside. Lenora said of course, and took our phone number to ring us at the appointed time. Within a few minutes, the phone rang and we went inside to find out that MARINA had decided that since we were outside, hubby didn't deserve his follow-up session after his surgery the week before. He was SUPPOSED to find out if the surgery went okay, because he had a weird sensation from the laser. He felt it burn all the way to the back of his skull. And since then, black material had been coming out of his ears! I was furious that MARINA had not been able to wait the 4 seconds it took us to walk inside. I went out to the car so I didn't bite somebody. Hubby stayed and waited. And waited. And Waited. AND WAITED. I finally went in to use the bathroom and found him still sitting there. When I came back from the bathroom he was starting to seethe. Apparently four other patients who walked in AFTER he did, had already come and gone. He was still waiting. He couldn't find Lenora at the moment, so he asked TIFFANY what was going on and why was he being ignored? TIFFANY looked at the waiting list, and told him, "YOU DON'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!" Though we hadn't discovered it yet, it turns out that MARINA authorized herself to take hubby's name out of the rotation, and toss it aside like he didn't exist because she was in a hurry or something else completely RUDE AND INEXCUSABLE. And TIFFANY was on such heavy disconnect with reality, she didn't even realize he'd sat there for almost an hour. She either didn't hear him talking to Lenora or pretended not to understand why he was mad by the time he stormed out. When we got home, another white-knuckled hour driving in total white-out conditions to get home, we were complete basket cases. Angry, anxiety-ridden, insulted, and not at all impressed with the training in customer relations that normal doctors insist upon. Either he's not paying attention or all the patients do not get treated like flea-infested dogs on the way to the gas chamber like hubby did. We appreciate you, Lenora, and all the compassion yourshowed as you apologized for your co-workers over and over again. However, we will NOT EVER BE GOING BACK. EVER. If you should ever need to go to the Eye and Laser Center in Flagstaff, do yourself a favor. 1. Direct your conversations to Lenora. 2. Do NOT go outside. That makes MARINA MAD. 3. If you see four patients who arrived AFTER you come and go, don't be polite like hubby was. 4. Go up and ask Lenora what's going on, leave TIFFANY completely out of the equation. She will probably tell you don't have a freakin' appointment. 5. Make sure road conditions are not in kill mode.

I was unable to read or work on the computer with the lenses I received. They were pretty much worthless. So I returned the glasses, and waited to ask for a refund for the optometrist visit after visiting my regular optometrist, Dr. Meyer. The prescription she wrote was markedly different from the incompetent job at EyeMasters. When I presented the discrepancy to EyeMasters, they refused to refund my money. The optometrist at EyeMasters got my left eye just right; but, his prescription for my right eye was way off. His power correction was off a full quarter point, too. He spent a total of about 6 minutes examining me, mostly talking about playing softball. Don't go to this place. They suck.

He seemed tired, irritated, and like I was bothering him for being there at all. He told me about ten times that I was probably not going to see as well as I approched middle age which is all fine and good, but don't rub it in and say it rudely so I feel bad and paranoid about it. Then, he got my perscription completely wrong. I couldn't see a thing through the eye glasses I got. I then had a second exam to re-check, and he got it wrong again. I got a second pair from them based on the new perscription, could see even less than the first pair, and ended up returning them. I ended up going to Sam's Club optical and they got it right the first time around. They told me his perscription was off from what I really needed. When I went back to tell them so, the staff told me it wasn't "so far off" that they'd give me my money back. Some guarantee...! Don't go to Eyemasters, and if you get this eye doctor just run away!
