My car battery was sounding a little weak after 4 years so I decided to get one coming before it failed. I remembered the local Flagstaff batteries+ having great service back in the day so I placed an online, ship to store order for an X2 AGM. Next morning an email came through saying the store declined my order. The Prescott location had them in stock and I figured this location could easily order one up for me so I wondered what went wrong. I'll never know though because they didn't contact me to explain or offer another option despite having my info from the order. Doesn't seem like a great way to do business. Fortunately we live in a consumer society where batteries+ doesn't have a monopoly on EnerSys or East Penn batteries and you can get them nearly anywhere so with one click I ordered an Odyssey battery online from my favorite auto supply chain. Shipped to my doorstep tomorrow free. Easy. Exact same specs, same manufacturer, same price, most likely the same battery, just branded and packaged differently. Tomorrow I'll have a new EnerSys AGM battery instead of an email saying my order was declined and I can decline to spend my money at store 103 in the future. It's great to have options. read more

I had my iPhone battery changed and in the process of reassembly it was not seat correctly where the tw screws connect to the screen so it doesn't sit flush. I took it back to have that issue resolved and she told me that the screw is stripped and she couldn't do anything about it. It was new when I bought it from the carrier and never been worked on before. So now I have to go to the valley and visit an apple shop to get it fixed. I would think carefully about taking your product there because if I would have known that this would happen I would have just went to the valley to begin with. read more

Wow, I've had limited but okay experience in the past with the Flagstaff batteries plus store. Today I went in with my motorcycle battery that was still under warranty. It had been on a trickle charger throughout the winter. It was dead as a doornail so I brought it back into the store and I explained the situation. The representative curtly informed me that it had not been on a charger and that because of my neglect he would not honor any warranty and unceremoniously ended the conversation without offering any options. The option I chose was to go to Napa auto parts and to write this review. Not only was the employee disrespectful but his actions insured that I will always seek another option for my battery needs. read more

The best of the best for truck batteries. My friend and I searched through out Flagstaff, Walmart, Auto Zone and many other places either they did not have the right size of the price was very high. I visited Batteries Plus today to have fresh batteries put in two expensive watches. Usually, I take these watches to the jeweler on Milton Rd., but they've closed shop, and I didn't want to drive all the way out to the mall. I remembered seeing this store, Batteries Plus, on Old Rt. 66, next door to Ogden Cleaners, and decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did!! The young man at Batteries Plus cheerfully spent almost 20 minutes taking the backs off these complex watches and carefully installing new batteries (which they had in stock...HOORAY!). He did an excellent job and only charged $6.99 per watch for the new battery & installation. What a great deal, since the jeweler used to charge me $10 per watch. I am very, very happy with Batteries Plus and can highly recommend them for all things needing batteries. read more

My problem was that I charged my batteries at home in California but once I arrived at Flagstaff and was looking into my camera bag I noticed no batteries... my genius in full affect. Yup, I forgot my camera batteries at home, on a night stand, cut to shocking music now.... Called this place and Mike knew exactly what I was looking for and had two in stock. My battery on my Durango went dead while on a trip to Flagstaff---Since I could not find an AC Delco replacement battery a friend suggested I call Jeff the new owner of Batteries Plus-- I called and spoke to Jeff who suggested that I come by his store and he would test the battery--he confirmed it was dead --I purchased a new battery and he offered to install it --he then went to O'Reilly's to get a replacement terminal bolt for the one that was stripped--I am good to go!! Normally I really like these stores, good prices on good batteries. However today my opinion of this store changed. Earlier in the week I called and asked if they had a battery in stock, they said no and that I would have to go to Prescott if I wanted to pick one up in stock. I drove to Prescott to pick up the battery, they were very helpful in getting me the right battery. I bought it and took it home, turns out my old battery ended up being just fine after a trickle charge! So I ended up not needing the battery after all, great news! I took my brand new battery that was now unneeded to this location. They told me they wouldn't accept it because it wasn't from their location and they will only accept returns from them. Even though I have a receipt for purchase from 2 days before at their Prescott location. So now I have to drive all the way to Prescott to return this battery! What store won't accept returns from their other locations?! Won't be going back to this location ever again, however the Prescott location was great and very helpful! read more

I guarantee you when i take it to a shop in Phoenix they'll have it fixed that day. Traveling through the area, the battery on my (Verizon) cell phone was no longer keeping a charge. I called the authorized Verizon dealer in town and was told they don't carry any batteries. Fortunately, Batteries Plus Bulbs had my battery in stock. First visit - I was greeted, I went straight to the counter, popped-open my car's remote, got the battery replaced, and got an extra the the second remote at home. It appears the store has many tools behind the counter to assist customer with other battery needs. I didn't really get a chance to look around the store but what I could make up, they had it all or could order it. I will be back for other special battery needs! read more

Okay, so I called this place in advance on Friday for a battery replacement on a Samsung Galaxy S6. They had my battery in stock and said I could bring it in at 1:30 on Saturday so an NAU student working for them could fix it. I get there at 3 and they said they ran into complications (something about the gold stickers on the phone starting to come off) so the guy working asked if I wanted them to continue with the battery replacement. I said yes because I'd rather have a phone I can use rather than it look pretty. The employee said the NAU student would be back at 6 and my phone would be fixed at 7. I get there at 7:08 and they were closed. First of all, the employee should have informed me that they close at 7 so I needed to be there before that. I'm irritated at this point, but just wait until the next morning to pick it up. When I got there around 12 on Sunday, the employee says "There she is! I waited all night for you." My friend said "Actually we were here at 7:08 and no one was here." He responded "Nope, we close at 7." She said "Well that would have been nice to know. Why would you even say that if it's not true?" to which he responded "because I'm a BS-er." So he just admitted to lying to me, the customer. I just wanted to get away from this jerk so I paid the $65 fee (essentially $20 for the battery and the rest for service for service fees.) My friend tried to get him to lower the service fees for making me wait a lot longer than they originally said, to which he refured. After I paid, my friend said "You've earned yourself a bad yelp review." She said she heard him say something about us as we were leaving, which she asked him to repeat, mockingly calling him "so professional." When we got back to the car and I turned on my phone, I found that the screen was black and pixelated, basically ruined. I was furious at this point. Why would they make me pay for a phone that isn't even usable? My friend's boyfriend immediately went back inside and demanded my money back, which the employee would not agree to at first. After arguing for several minutes, the employee then took the replacement battery out and gave my money back. Now I have to buy a new phone to replace the one they ruined. Horrible place and horrible employee. I didn't get his name but he's an older, balding man with a bad attitude. I suggest taking your business elsewhere, to a place that can actually be trusted. read more
