Was a customer since 2013 and July 3rd got a call from the new owners that they closed our box. Called them the woman was SOOOOOOOO Rude could care less that the previous owner had us on auto pay and would send our mail to us in Colorado when we were gone Jan-July. Told her we would take our business somewhere else and she said, "that's awesome" I hug up called their competitor and switch over in 5 minutes! Went in there last week because my husband had to return some stuff to Amazon. Hats off to the to the tall thin kid that was working there. They were having trouble scanning my husbands QR code from Amazon. It was a big return and my husband already knew it was going to be somewhat confusing. My husband was being somewhat of a jerk and the guy working behind the counter remained pleasant the entire time. Thank you whoever you are, tall thin kid, that remained pleasant while helping my cranky husband. I even walked out because my own husband was annoying me with his rudeness. I came to this UPS store to mail some packages... 4 of them in the USA and one in Canada... Hailey helped me and was patient and thorough in making sure we had all correct addresses, paperwork, etc... All employees were wearing masks when interacting with customers (but not while in the back)... They are encouraging social distancing inside, although it did get crowded during the morning hours that I was there. I will assume that all of my packages will arrive on time as promised... All things considered, this store was A-OK... nothing more, nothing less. That being said, if you are in the Flagstaff area and in need of shipping a package, I don't know how many other options you have! read more

I came in needing to print and sign as well as scan some docs. My first trip in was to ask them if they could do all of that for me. The woman at the desk didn't hesitate and said of course! I got all my stuff together and came back the next day. We are in a pandemic so only 5 people are allowed in the small location and everyone was very conscious and respectful about it. I came in and the same woman helped me with everything I needed done while she was helping others! Multi-tasking at her best! The service here was fantastic! While I was there she helped a couple who needed a notary, someone who needed a PO box (they have a complete facility for it), an Amazon return and just a plain ole shipping a package to a family member. The friendliest,most efficient store of its kind in Flagstaff. Always willing to help explain returns to Amazon and such. Will tape Re box as needed, and offer info on mailing costs. They also have an array of hilarious greeting cards, and festive mailing envelopes. They advertise fax services, as well as fingerprinting. They are usually busy, and with that comes efficiency and friendly service. read more

It didn't occur to me until today that I hadn't shared my thoughts on this business. I've been using this site for nearly 2 years now and they are always the nicest people you can meet. Ther owner, don't remember his name, is a very nice guy as are ALL the employees here. When I think of copies, shopping, or notary I go here. They allow people to drop USPS packages despite they are ups. They found a way to say yes, and that's refreshing. read more

Stay away. These people just want to rip you off. There is now a $2 tape fee for a .25cent roll of tape. Additionally they say they wear masks for our protection. Yet 6 people in the back all hovered over food and a computer not wearing any masks. This will be the last time I use UPS. read more

Completely incompetent. An eBay customer ask if I could get an item overnight shipped so it would arrive in time to be a birthday gift. I called this UPS store and got a quote on shipping. I collected the quoted amount from my customer, but when I arrived at the store to ship the package, the actual cost was $12.00 higher. I decided to eat the extra amount to keep my customer happy. That evening I got a call from the store saying that the package had been put in the wrong outgoing pile and it missed the overnight shipment pick-up. Are you kidding me? These guys are idiots. They did refund my shipping charges, but the damage was done. I will never set foot in this place again and you shouldn't either. read more

The owner came out an helped with my issue but the staff have NO training on shipping. The clerk said he couldn't ship a package back to Amazon without the scanned QR code. I had written the QR number down for him. He said no. Also making a copy is rough. No one helps you and the machine is more complicated than most corporate mainframe computer systems. "it takes a day to learn" was the staff's response. Buy an old copier that doesn't have twenty other functions. The other UPS store (on 4th) is my pick without question. read more

No problem printing the return label BUT, A $2.00 TAPING FEE! Or I could buy a whole roll of tape, they use all of 12" of tape. Ridiculous! Never coming here again. I went in with two packages that could each fit into a document envelope. I recently got married and had to send original birth certificate, drivers license, and marriage certificate literally across the street to social security office, and made it clear that I did not want to send it via USPS as things so frequently are lost and I wanted to send direct. I also had to get birth certificates from California. I wanted tract returned envelopes included so that the government offices could just return documents to me and I would have the tracking number since the enclosures were vital records and I was on a quick turnaround time. Covid has made things difficult with government offices being closed, but this was pretty routine. Mail the original documents out, get them back. Hailey told me that she could not ground ship them as I had asked, and could only priority Mail at $16 each envelope. I didn't complain about the price and figured she knew her business. She asked me to check the label on the first one and I told her that my return address was wrong. She reprinted it. She then duplicated the process for the next package and had to be the label. Again, my return address was wrong. Both times it was my old address in Flagstaff. I now live in Bellemont. I also pointed out to her that she had the city of Flagstaff with a Bellemont zip code. She said that this system wouldn't allow her to change it. Again, I figured she knew her stuff. Moving on to the labels to have the documents returned, I asked if she wanted padded envelopes from the wall behind me. She said that the system would not let her return the documents the same way that we were sending, and we had to have them returned via air. Remind you, Social Services was literally right across the street! It was now going to cost me $50 per envelope! Plus $16 for each of the envelopes to send it! but the line was literally going out the door, I had to trust that she knew what she was doing, and I needed to get these documents done quickly and correctly. She printed the two return labels, one at a time, and both I had to give back with errors, one THREE times!! When I went home to enter the tracking information, I found out that she actually did send it via USPS!! EXACTLY HOW I TOLD HER I DID NOT WANT THEM SENT! And she absolutely could have had them returned ground. And I found out from a UPS worker, that she could have changed the city from Flagstaff to Bellemont but she just didn't know what she was doing, and now my packages may not get back to me properly that have my original records. Either she is completely incompetent, or this store up sold me! Somebody in the know has told me that this should have only cost me one fourth of the $120 I spent. This place is a complete rip-off. Take the time and go to The UPS store on 4th Street. read more

UPS used to be one of the best carriers. My experiences lately have been dismal. There's nothing wrong with this UPS store. The people are nice and the wait isn't very long. The problem is with their delivery service. I scheduled a pickup yesterday morning and was told it would be picked up the same day. Although a UPS truck visits my apartment complex every day, this didn't happen. So I called this morning to ask about it and the representative told me that the previous representative was wrong and that it would be picked up today before 5pm. Again, nobody showed up. So I called again. The agent told me that there was a truck in my neighborhood still picking up packages. How she knew this I'm not sure because I was told UPS drivers don't have phones. It's 5:30 now and I'm pretty sure that agent was not being straight with me and just wanted to get me off the phone. One star is "not good". That's what this experience was. Another recent experience with a UPS store in California was similar. FedEx is definitely more expensive, but apparently you get what you pay for. The cost of my time dealing with this problem created by UPS is making UPS uncompetitive price wise. My next shipment will be FedEx. read more

Waited at least 10 minutes for two employees to finish with one customer each. I was then told they do not offer postage for USPS Priority Mail. When I persisted, stating that there is a sign in their window stating that they do in fact service USPS Priority Mail, he did some more typing and came up with an offer of $45 or so to ship two USPS Priority Mail Flat-Rate Envelopes. Normally around $10 total at the post office. I understand that they are not the post office and they need to charge a fee to handle these items, but $45 to mail something that would normally cost 25% of that, and for something they claim to service is simply unreasonable. I won't be going here anymore. The mail box store on Riordan only charged $21 to ship these two items, less than half of what UPS store wanted to charge. Far better service just less than 5 minutes away. Avoid these rip off artists and support other local businesses who actually cater to their customers instead of misleading them and wasting their time. read more

They claim to be professional shippers, even experts in shipping electronics. To begin this is not a corporate store so they have different rules then a real UPS store. They charge you for a huge box, then cut it down to fit item. the expert then wrapped the item in a blanket of bubble wrap and put it loosely in a relatively flimsy huge box (cut down) ... For this they charged $60.00. It was just the worst pack job of an amplifier I have ever seen. The total price was way over quoted and it arrived not working correctly. No external damage, just jostled damage. Now they want to inspect for damage. External damage to package and item. They want me to repack and prepare for shipment pickup. I offered to take it to a professional and never confirmed pickup. UPS shows up wanting "their" package. Why would I do that? Should I pack it correctly for them? AWFUL $200 lesson. that's 23 x11 x19 at 43#'s from WA to AZ joke. BTW Anthony is manager!!!! read more

I needed to ship a saddle back to the company I bought it from in New Mexico, most of the parts had been taken off so it would be lighter to ship. I was told a 30x30x30 box was needed, I was charged $30 for the box, for the bones of the saddle was $265 to ship. I was told that UPS was the only way to ship it there, but $295 is ridiculous but I needed it for work. Later, I thought I could have paid someone to drive it there for less, It is only a 7 hour drive. I won't make that expensive mistake again. Later, I thought I could have saved that money and started to save for a new saddle which wasn't too much more. I feel like I was taken advantage of. read more

My husband and I were on vacation in Arizona and lost the keys to our rental in the Colorado river so we ended up at the flagstaff airport trying to get another car but it was graduation for the university and no one had any rentals available and my husband had a gun so we couldn't fly unless the gun was in a lockbox. I called the ups store to see if we could ship it home, I told the guy that answered the phone what was going and he offered to come get my husband and take him to get a box. I don't know what we would have done if Toby hadn't of helped us, there aren't many people like that anymore, I encourage anybody that needs any of the services the shop offers to use his store, he's a stand up guy and we thank him very very much for what he did for us read more

I left valuable items at our hotel in Flagstaff. I called the hotel, and they brought the items to UPS, and gave them my name and address from the credit card info provided upon checkin. Later that day, this UPS store called me directly to confirm my credit card info, name and address. I gave them all info, and paid $81.86 for overnight shipping. It's 3 days later, and I have not received my package. I called UPS and was told the hotel gave them a bad address. This is preposterous, as the hotel has my contact information and credit card slip. Furthermore, UPS called ME to verify my credit card information and address, which I gave to them. The employee did not listen to me. UPS is refusing to refund me the overnight charges, alleging its the hotel's fault, claiming UPS is an "innocent bystander" even though they called ME to verify all information, and knowing the hotel had my correct address. They just don't listen or are too rushed to pay attention. When employees and businesses refuse to acknowledge their errors, faith in fairness to all is destroyed. They need to refund my charges. I would not ship with this location. read more

I came into this UPS store to get passport photos. In the past, I have always used Walgreens (for some reason I have a regular need for passport photos), and was never satisfied with the quality of the pictures, and they would take them so fast that I was never pleased with the way they looked. When I walked into this location, the two men who were staffing the store immediately greeted me and dropped what they were doing to help me. They took my picture, and even let me see it before they printed it (after I requested it), and even gave me a coupon for $2 off that a previous customer didn't use. All in all, I was in and out of the store in less than 15 minutes and paid less than $10. Much less expensive than other places I have been to, and the service was 1000x better. I will be returning here the next time I need passport pictures. read more
