I am grateful a real Verizon company store was in the neighborhood. Some weird stuff happened with my phone. Another Verizon store, operated by a third company, referred me to the phone manufacturer. The phone manufacturer referred me to a local repair company, who referred me back to Verizon. Sound familiar? The moment I walked through the door I was met by Micah, who immediately took me back to a bench and began some serious investigation. He was knowledgeable, experienced, and persistent. He stuck to the case and got the job done, sending me out with a good phone and good feelings. There is hope for America, in fastidious, dedicated professionals like this. No customer service in person anymore. The stores are only there to sell the products & service, not help with any issues regarding those products or service. I'm surprised Flag still needs 4 stores. My cellular plan stopped working so no internet & phone could barely function. To receive so-called help I could call customer service from my phone in their store. Long story short it was a nightmare. I had to call close to 50 times. I never spoke to the same person twice & each person had a different fix-it plan. I hate saying this but mostly it was men on-call who were never as nice as the few women who answered. It took over a month to resolve. No reimbursement yet. They had to go over my phone's history to track exact minutes I did not have their service. What finally worked was changing my plan to a more basic one. I have been a customer since my 1st cell phone. None of this is the guys who are physically working in the stores fault. I'm sure they're nice. read more

I recently started coming to this location versus another in town, which was the best decision I've ever made. This location has more resources to help with various needs. The customer service agents are much friendlier than the other location I had been going to. They will do all they can to help with any issues, and when they exhaust all options then they call into Verizon tech support for further assistance. It takes the stress out of me having to do all that. They have a fully stocked floor, so if you need a new device or case for the device, they have it. They never have tried to upsell anything either. Very respectful with that matter. Sometimes there is a wait, sometimes there isn't. You can check in online to save yourself the haste of a long wait, so I'm not sure why people complain about wait times, when there are options to avoid it. I traded my old iPhone for a new one. The young girl started the transfer of data and left us sitting there until it was finished. She never came back to us to check on it or to follow up to make sure we understood if we knew what to do when it was finished. I bought my phone from this Verizon a year ago and had a great experience. Today I went in to get my protector screen replaced and get international coverage for an upcoming trip. The person who spoke with me was friendly but said I would need to handle these things on line myself. Why couldn't they go online and help me out with it and smooth the online path a bit for me? My wife and I walked into this location the afternoon of 07/08/25 to trade in our phones, give Verizon even more of our money. We were checked in and first in line for one hour. I observed a total of eight employees yet only two customers were being helped. The others were either laughing it up or walking around on their tablets. Suddenly a man named "John" decides to come into the store and is so entitled that he thinks he needs to be helped first. They check him in, but he continues to fuss. After him only being there for approximately twenty minutes they call him up to be helped, skipping myself and one other group in their check in process. The final straw? After John got called I observed five total employees just laughing up and having a good time with a couple that was being helped. The utter disrespect for the time of customers is outrageous. I am a fairly patient guy, which is why I waited first in line for an hour without complaining to a single employee. I decided to be the bigger person and walk out before making a scene. Verizon has always been a trash company, this location follows suit. Now in the process with AT&T, I just cant deal with Verizon's incompetency anymore. read more

I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 14 years. In addition I have paid for warranty the entire time and recently for my daughter so I have paid close to $3k for warranty service. I tried to get my phone which was not allowing me to communicate warrantied through Verizon customer service and all they wanted to do was sell me a new package or a whole house electronics warranty. The rep who was a challenge to understand, after all the trouble shooting, assured me he would call me back at 2:00 PM following day to see if everything was okay. I never heard from anyone. I tried to call again and was given the sales pitch again and no offer to proceed with the warranty. This was hours wasted. Therefore, I figured I would just go in the store and take care of it. Since, I have been to the store 5 times and likely spent about 5 hours in line or trouble shooting. The advertisement peppering prime time tv says "trade in any iPhone, any condition for a free iPhone 16 pro". This seemed like a great deal, so I decided to take advantage of it. I was not even offered the iPhone 16 pro or Pro max and walked out with a 16, so I went back in the next day Knowing that it was not the phone I wanted and was given the run around and they said the phone was not in stock. The kicker is they told me when I was exchanging my old and new phone, if I was unhappy with this phone I could bring it back in and get what I wanted instead, however I would have to pay a $50 restocking fee. Fair enough. Meanwhile frustrated with the line at the Verizon store, I called in to customer service (if that is what you want to call it) to see if I could just have them send me a new phone and they told me I had to go back to the store. My concern was I only have another week to get the new phone per the original conversation with the sales rep, so I asked kindly if they could just notate that I have tried on 4 separate occasions to exchange the 16 for the pro max and the rep, in a rather snarky tone, responded that if we exceed thirty days I am out of luck. Very calmly I told him there has to be a way to get me what I originally intended on getting. He then tells me they can do it at the 800 number. For the love of Christ!!! What a Sh-t show.! My takeaway is unless the local Verizon store rep is making a commission, he or she is very dismissive and wants to get you on your way to move on to a potential commissionable customer. Bravo Verizon!!! BTW this is one of only 3 reviews I have written in my life and I am over 50 years old. I guess I need to just accept customer service is a thing of the past. Do not use this store. We ordered a phone through the Verizon as well as accessories. Had them delivered to this store. Tracking number showed they were there signed for by an Elizabeth. Got the accessories. They said "oh we dont accept packages here". Then gave us the run around about it was not in store but on truck and go to UPS store. UPS SAID no its at store. Went back to store and Jeff the guy my boyfriend spoke to would not come out of store to talk to us. Then a girl came out and said oh we sent it out Fedex. He asked for a tracking number they said they didnt have one. This has been escalated. These people are thieves. They stole our phone. Walking into Verizon I needed support defending myself against the insurance company Asurion (sounds like a sweet video game) only to be humbled with more no. Verizon is great for buying things and that's it. Also they are hilariously sensitive and quick to practice their power and refuse service, "coming in here was a complete waste of time" will get you trespassed and that is absolutely hilarious and I can't wait to just sit with this and literally never care about those humans again. I just wanted to be a Karen and leave a bad and honest review. These people are retail associates with a grip on a hot commodity, they do have a gorgeous monopoly moment going on... the power has gone to their heads when in reality they have no power, no say and no control over what really happens at the end of the day. Nearly every time I've been to this store, I've been able to be in and out quickly and efficiently. I will say the two times it hasn't gone well it has actually been REALLY bad. One time we spent nearly 2 hours in the store with very little accomplished and I was certain the man helping us had no clue what he was doing- I haven't seen him there again so I think the manager must have come to the same conclusion. I won't judge the whole place by a few incidents though. I feel like I am seen pretty quickly each time despite the amount of people waiting. All of the techs seem to be knowledgeable and helpful. So my son has to stay out in the heat by himself. Elderly people are outside in the heat. This is not right. They'll get sick from heat exhaustion well before they have any risk from Covid. Changed service from Sprint to Verizon to be provided better service. After Verizon screwed up my shipping of my 3 phones, 2 weeks later I received it and trying to set it up, wont work. Called tech support and they set up a appointment with this local store to fix my issue to get service. Appointment at 5pm. Arrived at 5.10 and waited until 6.30 to be seen. To find out that nothing they can do. We have to wait until tech support from there own store open again at 8am next day. Plus they kept old SIM card from sprint so no phone at all until this issue got fixed. We did not go back to store instead we called tech support (24/7) and got it eventually fixed after 4 hours. This store provides little to nothing of customer service and are very inexperienced as a corporate retail store. 2nd closest corporate store that "can" fix this issue is located in Phoenix. There was some difficulty switching my husband's Iphone7 to Verizon. Nick went beyond the call of duty to get it to work, even spending some time on his day off to work on the problem. An outstanding experience from start to finish, as I'll explain below. Arrived at store open, greeted immediately by Vince. Explained we were just browsing for new service and phones since AT&T service in the area is spotty. He took time to explain current offers and promotions, showed us a few Android and Apple phones, and covered the main differences between subsidized contract (2-year contract) and "device payment" (formerly called "Edge", where you buy the phone over 2 years), which we were confused about until he explained further. All that aside, he helped us pick a couple iPhones, transferred our Contacts and Photos, got our phones programmed and working in less than an hour. What a difference the service coverage is versus our old provider! A big bonus: We're saving over $40/month now. The customer service at this store is top-notch, the displays all work and can be played with (unlike the Best Buy, where we were going to go), and if you have a billing issue/question, they can resolve most trouble right there in the store. No, they don't have the same kind of promotions other resellers will occasionally run, but if you need your new phone right away, and set up right the first time, then this is the Verizon store to visit in Flag. Our Sales Team member Troy was extremely helpful, polite, appropriately humorous and attentive to our needs. We came in having had bad luck with T-mobile and zero service once we moved to Winslow. He was able to get us trade in credit on our fairly new phones and gave us the switch-up promo to add additional savings. We briefly mentioned struggling with setting up internet and he introduced the Jet-Pack 8800L. Though our MiFi leaves something to be desired in consistent performance, he explained we'd experience this which was transparent and informative. What makes you feel like you can treat PAYING CUSTOMERS... customers that not only pay hundreds of dollars every month but that also want help and guidance to buy the right product? My boyfriend and I went it to buy a Smart Watch and that tall, skinny kid was so arrogant. Made a smart a** comment about my boyfriends phone being old (2 years? Really?) and was completely unhelpful and condescending when we wanted information about the different watches. Eventually told us to "go online and figure it out" and come back when we know what we want. WTH ARE YOU HERE FOR EXACTLY? My boyfriend was so angry that he wants to cancel our Verizon accounts and switch providers. Someone needs to remind these employees that we pay a lot of money EVERY MONTH... not just when we come in looking for products. On 1/28/15 I returned to pay my Verizon bill in person... Ry Penniman made the necessary adjustments to my January bill.... He was extremely knowledgeable, and it was worth the time to get my 1st bill right.... On 2/17/15 I returned with some issues for my February bill(corporate billing has issues that are not easily resolved without personalized service!).... There is no worse feeling than to be thousands of miles from home and have a dead cell phone. Our first day of vacation included an early morning flight from Pittsburgh to Phoenix and then driving all the way to the Grand Canyon. I had all my trip information stored in the phone, plus I needed to use the navigation program. I tried to power my phone up after landing in Phoenix and the phone was completely dead. I called customer service to get store locations and decided to stop at the store in the Flagstaff Mall. The store was very busy, but I got the assistance of a technician right away. HATE THE NEW BUSINESS MODEL VERIZON! When I walk in the door of grocery store or even a car dealership they don't require that I give my name and phone number before they can even tell a customer if they carry a 10.1 tablet. There were over 15 people waiting and they didn't look happy. I tried to ask if they had a tablet in stock where I'd wait for it, they required I give my personal info first, I could wait the estimated 45 minutes, and then they'd tell if a tablet was in stock. I got the idea of leaving feedback when I heard others talking about doing the same. Customers do not like being treated like this. You need to revisit this business model. I cannot believe how long I spent at this store. I went to buy a pay-as-you-go internet/wifi device, which took close to two hours to set up. Then the product didn't work, I can't blame that on the store though. Then I went back to return it, and spent another 2 hours there! When you come into the store they put you on the waiting list, which is about 40 minutes, and then you just have to stand around and wait for someone to help you. I will say that Brett was a major help. He made sure that I got my return and everything went smoothly, even though I was standing around waiting for the corporate support, he was positive and helpful. I was told that several of the associates had called in "sick" the day I was there, but I don't see how that could happen several days in a row. My suggestion, go right when the store opens, and DON'T get anything that is prepay. Good luck! You are going to need it. read more

Perpetually understaffed. I have never had a wait time LESS than 25 minutes. Really? REALLY? That is a completely unacceptable level of customer service. They don't seem to ever be able to staff accordingly. The staff is very friendly, but maybe a little clueless? It doesn't seem to occur to them how preposterous those wait times are. I drive all the way over there, only to find out I need to kill half an hour waiting around. I have been using the Verizon on Milton for over a year to make payments on my phone. Each time I came in they asked for my parents passwords or security question answers, etc.(Its my parents account so I have no idea) There was always something that was questioned about the account and took way longer than needed even though I am on the plan.
