I'm extremely disappointed in the customer care I received at Vectra Mill Creek with the salesman reinforcing that Alderwood and Everett will accept my returns. In long On a semi-whim, we stopped in here after dinner last night to check prices on new phones. They were able to see us right away, which does not always happen at the phone store. That was cool. Bottom line, there's no special on right now, so the cost didn't make sense for us (I am milking my old phone for every minute of life it can give me. At this point, I am perversely proud of how old it is.) My lovely bride wants to switch back to Android from iPhone; her current device frustrates her all the time. The kid helping us seemed to scoff at her preference, and couldn't answer many questions about the different levels of their current Android selections. We would have been happy enough to work with him if there were a special on to get the price down, but we ended up pausing the hunt for a new one. The Ace Hardware houses the auto licensing as well as more standard offerings, a bakery section, some basic groceries, and a deli area. Some of the sections, such as a key making area, caught my attention as things to remember. Aisles were clearly labeled and the offerings matched their category. Some of the items were more seasonal specific, such as items to help with cooking a turkey for Thanksgiving, while others were more routine items. The bakery section included Pacific Northwest-based brands and freshly baked items. While tantalizing, the item(s) catching my eye for purchase today were the bumper stickers. I went with four in animal theme with fun sayings. The total with tax came to $14.00. My cash payment method was accepted and I opted to round up the change to go to an area Senior Thrift Store. The parking lot and store were slightly busy, but a few parking spots were available. After walking the aisles and not spotting hubcaps, I approached the front counter and was warmly greeted by a worker. I asked about hubcaps and she asked what size my tires were. I had taken a few pictures and she looked at them, then offered to take a look at the car. We walked out to my car and they were 15 inch tires. We went back inside the store and she showed me three options they had for hubcaps at that size (two silver and one black and gray). I decided to go with the black and gray ones, which came in a 4-pack. The total with tax was less than $60. On Monday 21 July 2025, I went to install one and found it appeared to be too flat to install on the tire of my car (the plastic of the hubcap pressed against the metal of the wheel/tire such that it impeded the hubcap properly snapping into place). After removing any smudges from the hubcap I attempted to install and putting everything back in the original packaging, I came back to the store this morning (Tuesday 22 July 2025) to see if I could return the item. My inquiry was processed by an alert worker and I was issued a full refund. While the item did not work, my overall shopping experience was excellent.
