Evy and Jessica were extremely rude and extremely unhelpful!!! I have never experienced such poor customer service. Right of the bat they yelled at us saying we couldn't come in with our dogs because Jessica was allergic which we understood so my parter stayed outside with them while I stayed. I stayed and asked for help and they refused to help Just because they wouldn't get a sale. We needed help changing the primary account holders name. They said it would take too long and they couldn't help us because we didn't get our account through them. That was a HUGE lie because we drove up the street to a different store location and the customer service was night and day they helped us regardless wether they got a sale or not and they were happy to help. I recently purchased a new iPhone 17 Pro and needed help setting everything up as well as ordering some replacement screen protectors. Steven went above and beyond. He was incredibly helpful and kind, and he made the entire experience feel effortless. Jehlani (sp) also assisted me when I first ordered the phone and was equally kind and informative. It should be no start for what and how it worked out tonight's visit to this particular location. We made an appointment online and it was confirmed at 8pm. Front door was already locked, and there were customers inside sitting with an associate. I called the store to try to find out if there was any covid policy to have another customer outside. But they completely ignored my phone call. What was even worse is that the customers inside were laughing at us. I went in this morning to set up my three tablets we recently purchased for our children. Scared that it was going to be a long process, my guard was up. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service I received from the sales associate, Tom. He was patient, knew what the issue was and even stayed with me as I was on with customer service over the phone. Worst customer service. We simply went in to buy a phone case and there was 5 employees there working and only two were with customers. They said they would be with us and over 10 minutes goes by and they're all sitting there at the desk not paying attention to us at all. My boyfriend finally had to speak up and ask if he could get someone to help him get cashed out. Once he spoke up again someone finally got up, like pay attention to the people that are in your store when there's three of you surrounding a desk, one could have broke away to cash us out right away. Walked in to this store today looking to buy a replacement phone for my fiancé's recently lost phone. After a lot of indecision on our part (and a million questions), Anthony went above and beyond in helping us find a phone. Once we were ready to purchase the phone, we realized that there was a possibility we were carrying insurance on this particular phone. Anthony helped us look that information up, and got us on a tablet to start the claims process. I personally have service through Verizon (and have for the last 16 years), and today's experience has sold me on transferring my service. Anthony was a professional salesman. Went in to help welcome one of our sons into official adulthood. He jumped off our account and got hooked up with his own. A few days prior we called with some questions and were told that when we go into the store to ask for Danny. Best advice ever! Danny switched everything effortlessly and made sure our son's questions all got answered. I even overheard him tell our son that if ever he has any questions to just come in in and he'd be happy to help him out. Great quality service. We all left very happy. read more

Update 6-10-13 Ok so this is my final update to my nightmare of AT&T customer service. This place is down right stupid and the people who work there are stupid. They don't think outside the box to help an obviously frustrated customer. They don't say sorry but rather tell you it's policy and that things are impossible to do. I am in customer service but hospitality side and I am appalled at this place. I couldn't imagine these reps lasting long with there obvious disregard to customers satisfaction. I was promised something by a manager and I did not receive it. That right there is an automatic fix it now by all means in my world. But hey at my job I deal with people's accommodations so we know if we mess up or if the guest is mad in anyway we need to nip it in the bud and get them happy again. I guess in the retail business they have a little more room to meds up but damn you guys fucked up big time and every time I came back you made it worse by treating it like a new thing each time. I would probably get fired or written up at my job if I did what you guys did but that's our standards and obviously not yours. So moving forward I will never recommend AT&T to anyone in my entire life. I will bad mouth you guys every chance I get and I am currently moving all my other lines to Verizon. It's been a long run because I had Att since I was in 6th grade. I'm now 26; so that's 14 years that I told everyone att was the best service ever. I lied and said I didn't have to many dropped calls and bad connections. I always touted that you guys were the only ones where you were able to talk and surf with your iPhone. I really miss that feature but not necessary. I really really did like you guys but I am truly sickened by how I was treated here. I visited 7 times to try and get this sorted out. I called 18 times total to customer service centers. I was told multiple times to come back to get it resolved only to find out it wasn't resolved at all. Today though I finally had a talk with an executive. She immediately said sorry and asked what I wanted to do and she made it happen. She set it up so I would go to alderwood mall att store and they will handle everything. I just needed to talk to the manager directly and not wait in line like everett. I seriously was in there for maybe 20 min at most and everything was done. So it took them 20 min to do what the everett mall att store could not accomplish within 7 visits and countless hours. Hmmm seems like someone needs to manage the everett store better. I just hope I could help someone make a good choice and go somewhere else for your att service because your not going to receive service here at all. Original So its been about 21 days now and still no luck on getting all my money back from this store. I have a had countless reps on the phone say I will be getting everything back and then I go in and these idiots don't know what to do. So I guess i'm just going to keep the phone and cancel the account. I will get charged $350 for cancelling early but what the hell am I supposed to do. They won't let me return my phone I don't want unless I take substantially less money for it. Hard to believe that this place even exists. They are virtually unable to provide customer service. I have had multiple issues with my galaxy s4. The one time I have to go in because the SIM card won't detect and I need a new SIM card. They give me a SIM card it works for five minutes. I drive back to show them the dead phone and they simply shrug their shoulders. "Nothing we can do, call customer service". Are you kidding me they can't check my records? If I could give AT&T zero stars right now, I would! We had been customers for 25 years, since our first cell phones. When adding my mom to our plan 2 years ago at the Everett Mall location, I got talked into picking up Direct TV Now for $10/mo. for as long as we kept our plan. ($25 billed by Direct TV, $15 credit on our AT&T bill.) I recently noticed that we are no longer getting the $15 credit from AT&T. We have not changed our plan! When I called customer service, nobody could tell me why the credit fell off, and I can only see the last 14 months of bills. I went to the Everett store for help, and the sales person can't see the older bills, either. He said he'd have the manager call me, which she finally did after I called the store 2 times and asked her to call. She said she'd need to escalate my concerns via email, and she'd get back to me early the next week. That was 2 weeks ago, and I've still not heard back. Sadly, all the people who did not follow through on this issue won't know that we gave up and switched to Verizon this past weekend, and cancelled AT&T TV Now (Formerly Direct TV Now). Was told that will get reimburse remaining balance from other carrier up to $650 after trade our phone and switch with AT&T. However, wasn't meant to be. Salesperson didn't explain clear enough he have to read the disclosure back and forth. We "waited" while three employees stood by the empty counter to talk. A lady was helping me and a manager rudely interrupted and sent her to do something else and he started helping me so I had to start over again! 2 other employees came over and interrupted to ask him questions, he actually looked at his phone while trying to solve my problem, I left went home and called the 800 # the problem was solved and much cheaper than what he was trying to charge. It also amazes me that he didn't even look at my phone to see the problem just tried to sell me a New one for much more than the 800# .I also am told they can't export contacts, pics etc but after arguing they did it. I had been in several stores over the past week since getting my new Moto X looking for a Zagg invisible shield. I was told this location had it in stock so I drove 25+ miles to get it. Unfortunately this did not happen. I stood around for 10+ minutes before the "greeter" approached me. I explained what I was looking for and he was able to locate it yet he could not ring up my sale. He said he would put me in the queue and for me to walk around the mall for 30+ minutes and check back. I asked him if he was kidding. Seriously, I was not needing to purchase a new phone and set it up, my transaction would have taken all of 90 seconds. The manager couldn't even be bothered to come out to help. Avoid this location at all costs unless you have all day to stand around waiting for service!!!!! read more

Summary: Incompetence to the absolute extreme. These idiots wouldn't know "customer service" if it peeled the skin off their foreheads. They are, without a doubt, the biggest collection of least-qualified morons that I have ever had the displeasure of trying to work with. Seriously - I would have received better customer service for a phone-related matter from the BBQ restaurant down the street. Here's the story. I called around to multiple AT&T stores looking for a Galaxy Note 3 to purchase. Notice I said -PURCHASE-, not upgrade. Since AT&T makes you sign a 2 Year contract and phones are only worth a crap for about 10 months, I decided I wanted to move to a faster device 4 months before my current contract runs out. So, I am "ineligible" for an "upgrade". My only option is to pay full price for a new device, and that's what I decided to do. I finally found this store in Everett, and called to verify they had the device for purchase (notice again that I did not say "upgrade".) The person I spoke with said "Yes, no problem", and told me he'd stick my name on the device so I could come in later that evening and pick it up. At 8:10PM, we arrived at the store, and the employee [door greeter] took my name and signed me in. After a few moments, they asked me what I needed. I told him I was there to purchase a new Galaxy Note 3 that had been set aside for me, and the employee disappeared into the back to fetch the device. He arrived a few moments later, and started collecting my information. Phone number, name, etc... After a few minutes of clunking around on his iPad, he informed me that "I wasn't eligible for an upgrade", and my response was "Yeah, I'm aware of that. I'm paying cash, full price for the device" and he looked at me like I had grown a third eye. While holding the device in his hand, he told me "Uh, since you're not eligible for an upgrade, I don't think you can purchase this device" at which point my wife said "What? What does that mean?" Dude's response was "they didn't have sufficient stock for general sale and these devices are very popular". Completely dumbfounded, I said "So, you're not going to take my $740 dollars as an existing customer so that you can hold a device for a new customer that wants this thing?" and he said "Yes." I told him that was about the dumbest thing I'd heard anyone in retail sales ever say, and demanded to speak to a manager. A few minutes later, Brittany came out, greeted us and proceeded to try and explain why they weren't going to sell me a device they obviously had available - because current customers aren't as valuable as brand new ones that are stupid enough to sign a 2-year commitment (like I once did). She was impossible to work with, absolutely unaccommodating, completely illogical and totally worthless as someone working in retail sales. I wouldn't hire Brittany to cook fries at McDonalds, let alone allow her to piss-off a customer, discriminate against an existing customer of 7 years and not make ANY effort whatsoever to fix the situation or find an alternative solution. She is absolutely and completely unqualified to be a manager of anything, and that just means the "real" Store manager that hired her is likely just as incompetent for promulgating a policy that lets air-headed employees decided who's cash they will and will not accept. She even had the gall to tell use that "Current customers are very valuable" as she disingenuously apologized while we walked out frustrated beyond belief. This store is completely broken. Instead of a trip to the zoo to see the monkeys, you could just come out to the Everett Mall AT&T store and peer in the window at the monkeys that are too stupid to comprehend that existing customers with cash in hand are worth more than new customers who haven't even walked in the door yet. Most annoying, though, was that these idiots didn't bother to tell me this would be a problem when they reserved the device for me - they let me drive 40+ miles to Everett to find out in person, then yanked the device right out from under me. I am so incredibly pissed-off at AT&T that I don't even want the device anymore, and the instant I'm clear of my contract, I'm gone and I won't look back for an instant. On the way out, I reminded "manager" Brittany that she needs my business a hell of a lot more than I need hers. I seriously doubt she even had a clue what that means. I expected too much. The in-store customer service was fine although it didn't coordinate with the billing information. The bills never reflected my 2 trade in phones. Or if it was it wasn't communicated properly so WE could understand it. There was a billing mistake over the first phone order. A second error through the store. There are numerous errors monthly on the bill. I would like to have to spend at least one month without having to call Customer Service or fix their errors. Went in last January and switched from Verizon (after 25+ years) for the AT&T/Direct TV unlimited talk text and data. I did this because of the unlimited and because I was quoted a monthly charge that was $10 less than what I was paying on the current Verizon plan. This swithc has been a HUGE MISTAKE. I was told to provide my final bill for equipment and I would be reimbursed with a VISA pre-paid card. I brought it into the store and had the sales rep upload it for me. Never receiced a VISA card. And my monthly bill has been routinely $40 higher than what I was quoted. I have spent hours on live chat on the website, phone calls and have made trips to the store. I was told that I didn't qualify to which I responded I would like the 3 new phones we traded returned to me, but they can't do that. I have spoken on the phone with supervisors on 2 occasions that have assured me that I qualified for the reimbursement. They put me in touch with the "Switcher Support" people. I was told by them that I was getting a VISA prepaid card. I got a prepaid VISA card a week ago, for $46. My equipment charges from Verizon were $381!!!!! I spoke to the "Switcher Support" again and they said there was a lower amount on the trade ins. No one at the store said anything about that. And of course they can't return the phones to me. Then I was told that I should have a $400 In Store credit....I called the store and was told I need to come in AGAIN so they can look this up. I have spent hours trying to get this figured out. All i want is what was promised to me. I have no confidence that it will happen. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB and I am cancelling my AT&T and Direct TV. STAY AWAY FROM AT&T. I've visited this location a few times and each and every time, the service is terrible. There may only be a handful of customers wandering around the store, but if you want to do so much as purchase an accessory, you must be entered into a queue (modern version of 'take a number') and wait for one of their slow-moving, less than helpful, associates to deign to assist you. If you're buying a phone, or need help with an existing phone you just purchased, you have to sit down at a little table thats reminds me of going to a car dealership, and have a chat with one of the associates. Once you actually get the associate to work on your issue, they do seem pretty efficient and I generally leave with my issue resolved. It's the whole waiting around queue system that seems completely broken from a customer service standpoint. It's annoying and insulting. It seems completely unreasonable to me to have to spend an hour waiting in the store to buy a phone or get assistance. It's worse than going to the Everett Clinic for goodness sake! And, last time I checked, the associates at AT&T did not need to get a Doctorate degree to work there. So, why do I need to wait an hour to see them? Ridiculous! Deceitful sales tactics used at this At&t store at everett mall way. I went in looking to upgrade to a smartphone, salesman said yea sure, will push through an upgrade with At&t. They made me an appointment to comeback the next day. Next day they tell me that if I dont purchase the wireless home phone sets and accept the wireless home phone service, then I am not eligible for an upgrade. Sales guy said to me, "if you want something from me you have to give me something in return". Seriously? Sales person, you could have saved me a little gas, time and money had you just told me that the day before. I was not interested in a home phone, I told you that. Went there for an upgrade, walked out with nothing. You missed out on hooking me on a two year contract and keeping me as costumer. Going to wait for contract to expire and jump to another carrier. The rep at the corporate (611) site admitted to me that it's virtually impossible to get a phone answered at the corporate stores with all of the on line features they have now. It's a way of admitting that they DISCOURAGE calls to the store. I did try calling a half dozen or so times through out the day with the same result after several voice prompts, no one available to take your call. I've been to the store several times and had an experience like those listed here. If you drop in, to ask a question, buy something, return something or do any thing else, you are accosted by about half a dozen reps on the floor that can do nothing other than ask you what you are there for and put you in the line up. The problem is that the half dozen reps on the floor that are empowered to do nothing are complemented by one or maybe two reps behind the desk that can actually do anything, and usually if it involves any special pricing, returns, warranty issues, etc, they have to find a manager to do it which may be available in a little while or not, depending on what else is going on. read more

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received. I was helped by William at the Everett Mall location. He lied to me. I was told that if I get a phone that a tablet comes with it for "FREE" That ended up being a lie. Come to find out I am being charged monthly for a tablet I was told was FREE. Not one time was I told that I was going to be charged monthly. So after getting the tablet that was told was 100% FREE come to find out I am now being charged for an additional line that I was never told was going to happen. And I am being charged for an additional line for a tablet that I can't talk on. And I can only access internet and things that need data if the tablet is linked with to my phone or if it's connected to Wi-Fi. I hate liars more then anything. Lying to get a customer to do something or to say yes is not a way to do business. You just don't do that. So if you want to be lied to then go ahead and go to the AT&T store at the Everett Mall and ask for William. If you don't want to be lied to go elsewhere. read more

We have had att for 3 months now and it has been awful. We were charged for things we were never told about. We have not received our reimbursement gift cards. We have not had an luck with representatives. The everett mall way location...the new one near firehouse subs....is a joke!! The girl who helped us was 2w years old with brown hair and Princess Leia buns. She was a fool!! She messed up our bill and didn't log in our work discount. She did nothing she said she had. Our phone cases were not put on when we returned back to pick them up. She also forgot to give us our boxes for our phones. I had to come back three times!!! Avoid this company. I've been an AT&T customer for 15 years. Generally speaking, I'm satisfied with AT&T. My experiences at this store over the last 3 years however have run the gambit from absolutely exceptional to absolutely awful. To have a good experience, request to see Chris (younger guy, Latino, exceptionally knowledgeable, courteous and helpful). I upgraded my phone with him a few days ago. He was fantastic. To have a bad experience, walk in and look for help when you have a problem with your new phone. I purchased a screen protector with the new phone, and Chris offered to put it on. A few days later, it looked like a portion of the protector had detached from the phone's surface. Here's where the fun starts. First, the guy who greets me when I go back to the store a few days later spends about 5 minutes trying to convince me that "it's not a bubble." (Sorry if I'm not privy to phone industry lingo...I didn't know how else to describe what I was seeing. The screen protector had partially detached from the screen, creating a space between the protector and the glass surface of the phone. How else would someone describe this, except by calling it a bubble?) He then tries to convince me that it's a mark from a cup being put on top of the screen. When I point out that if that's true glass cleaner should take it off, he got indignant. And it was all downhill from there. Once I finally get him to acknowledge that the protector doesn't seem to be functioning as intended, rather than exercising a little empathy and showing me that he actually cares about the problem I'm having, he immediately lets me know that there's nothing they can do about it and that I need to talk to the manufacturer. Blood pressure on the rise, I then ask to talk to a manager. The manager tells me that sometimes it takes a week or so for the adhesive to cure and fully adhere. Had the first guy mentioned this, I would have been way less agitated because I would have felt like my issue was being acknowledged, rather than flat denied or deflected as "user error." But then the manager says, "Most people don't come back to the store when this happens." What does that mean? That I'm supposed to be satisfied with a defective product and/or defective application of said product? A refusal to acknowledge a customer's concerns + serious lack of effective communication = a terrible customer experience. I won't be going back to this location. Ever. read more

Never ever go to this store...whatever might be. The staff here is utterly dumb and do not have any knowledge on what they are selling. No wonder this store is empty. Here is my story..i have ordered phone online for my wife and wanted to pick the phone here. That phone has to be added as an add-on line to my current account . Very simple process. When i was talking to customer service agent previous day, they said go to this store pick it up and you have 14 dys to activate. When you are activating the phone , tell them that you want to migrate your wife no to this phone and add to your account. They can do that. So I went. Staff (Amanda and Mike-manager) at this store told me that it is already activated and added to my account.. I swear to god..i did not tell them to activate it. They are saying you have to pay for this line for the next 20 months (70 bucks each month)...whaaaaaaaaaaat....I said I did not want to activate. I came here to pick it up only. They said. It is already activated. We cant do much. We can cancel the phone but you have to pay the restocking fee $35. I had argue with them on this for about 30 minutes. I never wanted to activate it, you activated it ad now you are asking me pay the $35 to cancel it. They did mistake and they wnat me to pay for their mistake. They are dumb and utterly useless.
