Unfortunately, purchasing a refurbished lab top from them was a different experience. After taking my previous laptop in for service and learning it was fried, I decided to purchase a refurbished laptop from them. I figured it was safe since my previous service experiences had been positive and I had never felt like I was being ripped off. After a sleazy sales pitch, I purchased a refurbished Dell laptop for around $600. I have had refurbished computers in the past and have never had an issue with them. This Dell, however, is the worst machine I have ever had. It is, by far, the slowest computer I have ever used and it does not maintain a charge. I have to have it plugged in at all times while I am using it. Might as well be a desktop from the mid 90s. It is an extremely frustrating machine to use. Soon after losing $600 on this pile of junk, I notified Ready Set Repair of its issues via their online portal. I never received a response. I will not be going back to Ready Set Repair for services, sales, or anything else. I do not recommend them and advise anyone seeking their products or services to be wary of untrustworthy sleazy schmoozers. Gross.

As of October, this year, I acquired address 2. Cox has been great to me so far, so I started a SEPERATE line at address 2 (using yet another amazing promotion). Up to this point I am now moving out of address 1. I saw on the website that we can transfer service to a roommate (which I have at address 1). Called them up, took a few tries, but eventually got WHAT I THOUGHT (and made sure to check) was address 1 disconnected and switched to the roommate. Went into my cox account to learn they switched ADDRESS 2, taking me out of my newly started promotion and still having me associated to address 1. With how long this has been taking and for it to mess up this bad, I am PISSED. Drove to COX on Campbell, took a couple breaths before I walked, and laid it out for Roxy (employee I was chatting with). Super calm, cordial conversation. And that's where we are at with 4 stars. Online COX customer service needs some serious work (i will avoid using it again). In-person, COX is amazing, super kind employees at every location I have been at, and really are looking to help. My case is still in process, but up to this point COX on campbell has been a 5-star experience with how my situation is being handled. It will be a certified 5 if they can satisfy this case. He was knowledgeable and listened to everything I said, even the details of how I liked to travel, job life , etc. I mention this because upon receipt of the quote for all the new gadgets and services, Michael had customized the plan so that it covered domestic and international travel. Most wouldn't pick up on that, but he did. He was also acutely aware of how I did not want to be going through the process of setting up a new phone, watch, or an iPad and he did it all. I have to give a shout out to his manager. He was awesome. I was a walk-in later in the evening and they didn't rush me. He offered me and other customers water as we were waiting. He was very thoughtful with all customers. Sidenote, there was a very cranky individual this particular evening and the staff and the manager handled it with grace. But when the iPhone came out with the finge rprint ID I couldn't use the OtterBox anymore and had to get a screen cover; this is the first place that I thought of. Man, what a great investment. The store has moved since I first year do business with them. Presently it's across from Hot Topic in the Tucson mall. Several times when my phone dropped, that screen protector has saved my screen from chips, scratches, and cracks. Once you buy the screen cover, if there's any problems, they replace it for five dollars. Over the last few years, I've replaced the cover six times, which is totally worth it initial investment, compared to replacing the screen on my iPhone pro max. The staff are super cool. I've never had to wait very long to get the new screen protector replaced. So do yourself a favor, and get your screen cover before your keys scratch it. They also replace batteries and screens on iPads, in addition to full service phone repairs. I got my iPad screen replaced and that took an hour. They sale cords and cases too. Unhelpful and rude is the shortest way to say it. My experience with one employee is her leaving to get lunch, saying in a note on the door "back in 15 minutes." Don't know when she left but it was 30 minutes before she was back. I mentioned this politely when I came in the store and she got very hostile and called me rude. Her lunchtime is not my concern so her telling me all about it was not helpful to my concerns as a customer. That was about six months ago. Recently, I had an issue with the phone service, went in and she told me to call customer service. When I asked her why she couldn't look up my account, she said she wasn't customer service. What? I left and said she wasn't very helpful and she again hauled out the "you are so rude" comment.
