We purchased a 2019 Grand Design 2500RL from Crestview RV in Buda back in March. We had been to the Austin RV show in February and fell in love with another model of Grand Design there, but, decided to sleep on it before purchasing. We are not new at this process. We have bought and sold many homes, condos, etc over the years. We've pretty much experienced it all in terms of customer service, high pressure sales tactics, smoke and mirrors... We went into Crestview RV in Buda the following week to look again at the model we loved at the RV show and another one we thought might also work for us. Justin, our appointment, was tied up with another customer, so we got Austin, the same person we spoke to at the show! Austin took us all over the lot, answered every question we had and then some. He couldn't have been more professional, patient and helpful with our questions. Justin was still tied up when we were finished looking around so we went home to mull over our options. The next day, with the model we wanted in mind, we went back to see Justin. We had already researched what a reasonable price would be for the unit. We sat down with Justin, who turned out to be just as professional, patient and helpful as Austin, and went through the buying process. We told Justin what we were comfortable paying and we negotiated a fair deal we were both happy with. Justin suggested staying in the camper overnight before signing final papers, which we did. We also had to do majo reno on our driveway and fence at home to be able to store the camper at home. Crestview held the camper there for us during the renovation, which took about 6 weeks without charge. I mentioned earlier in this review that we are not new at this process, having bought and sold many properties. What was/is new for us with this experience is we dealt with two different RV consultants, Austin and Justin, neither of which competed with the other for our business. We had an appointment with Justin. But, Austin made it clear he was available at any time to help us out any time Justin was not available. When we spent the night in the trailer, they both came out to greet us the next morning. The respect they show for each other is something very rare. We haven't had to take the trailer in yet. We have a small "punch list" of things to fix. We'll take it in for a 6 month check in September and they'll knock out the punch list then. In the meantime, we are enjoying our new trailer and couldn't be happier with our choice of dealerships. Everyone we have met at Crestview RV Buda, Austin, Justin, Penny in Finance, are truly nice people who want their customers to be happy with the choice they make. We definitely are with ours and look forward to many happy camping days ahead. read more

RV OWNERS BEWARE OF CRESTVIEW RV We made the mistake of dropping off our unit for repairs, we waited for 20 minutes to be greeted by a service advisor (Edward Moore) we handed him a paper with a few items to have looked at, AC not turning on, Furnace not turning on and the last item the water pump would not turn on. He had us sign some paperwork and told us he would be in contact with us once the technician looked over the unit. Well this is were the nightmare started, 3 weeks went by never heard anything back on our unit so we called with no return call we tried calling For 5 days straight spoke with every other service advisor but Edward, we asked for assistance from the other service personnel, with no help they all told us we need to speak with Edward, Frustrating, My husband left work early to pop into check on the unit and a update on the repairs. Edward was there thankfully he said he would have it in the shop the next day that they have lost some technicians so things have been backed up. We received a call the next day at 4:30p stating we need a new air conditioner and furnace controller and that the water pump was bad. We received a price to complete the repairs and decided not to have the unit repaired. The next day we called Edward letting him know that we would be declining the repairs and we would like to pick up the unit, he told us we are responsible for the diagnosis fees totaling 4 hours at $155.00 we told him that information was not conveyed to us and we would not be paying such a large amount, after another 2 weeks of pHone tag and trying to reach Edward we once again had to leave work early and drive to Crestview RV, he was at lunch when we arrived, we waited for over 45 minutes still no Edward finally we decided we needed to have some one else assist us in picking up our unit we spoke with the Service Manager (Lenn) and he reduced the fees We finally felt relief to have our unit back, we decided to have a mobile service come out for the repairs we paid a service call fee plus $110.00 diagnostic fee, the gentleman tested everything and went over the simple test he was preforming after testing he found that we had a bad thermostat assembly and the water pump was simply a bad fuse, I saved thousands of dollars, this company is telling customers that parts need to be replaced that are good. PLEASE DON'T BE A VICTIM TO THIS COMPANY LOOK AT THE REVIEWS AND ASK YOURSELF IF IT IS WORTH IT read more

We researched online extensively to select the RV that fit our needs. We called Crestview RV in Buda, who had the make and model of the new RV we wanted, and spoke with Sara Giguere in sales. We drove down to look at the trailers the same day, they had 3 of the models that we wanted on the lot. She was very informed and helpful, showing us all 3, we chose the trailer we wanted after a through inspection. She has been in this industry for 20 years and is very knowledgable. Crestview RV Buda was more than happy to allow our own private RV Inspector we hired to look at our trailer a few days later and he complete his inspection, finding nothing wrong except the refrigerator needed to be rest. A couple of days later we drove to Buda and met with the finance person who was friendly, kind and thorough. Then we were introduced to Cory who is the new manager of Customer Service. As he walked us out to the RV he answered our questions regarding service, timeframe estimates. He also talked about new systems he had put in place to improve repair and service. Cory introduced us to Ben, the service technician who spent two hours going over details of the trailer and answered all of our questions. They were very easy to work with and we look forward to taking our new trailer there for service when it is needed. I would recommend Crestview RV Buda to friends or family! read more

I am writing this review on the Service Department at Crestview RV in Buda Texas. These folks are awesome. We are full time in our 5th wheel we needed some service done and started talking with them in August of 2016. We would not be in Texas until October of 2016. We contacted Cedric and let him know the issues we were requiring repairs on. We needed the roof sealed and inspected, We needed lights replaced in the living room and bedroom. We needed trim connected, door seals replaced and blow out damage repaired. As we got closer to the arrival date Mike and Steve were keeping in contact as we went for any additional work that needed to be accomplished. We arrive on the 20th of October the had an RV site for us and we checked in with Cedric. That night our slide motor/gear box ate itself. The following morning we let them know and they added it to the work order. At 9:00 AM Shawn showed up and took our unit into the shop. They kept us informed as to the progress of the repairs all day long. By 5:00 PM the work was completed and our rig was back in the RV site. We were only out of it for that period of time all the work was accomplished in one day. These folks are awesome and the quality of workmanship is superior. I will recommend them all day long and twice on Sunday. They were a blessing and took great care of us. Thank you so very much. read more

My wife and I recently purchased a 2018 Jayco Jay Flight Trailer from Crestview in Buda. We have rented RV Trailers in the past and already had a good idea of the floor plan and size trailer we where looking for. We were very fortunate to have Tony Garrard as our sales man. He is very knowledgeable about how different manufactures build there trailers and the reasons for cost differences between manufactures. He was a great help with our decisions on what we felt where important features versus non essential options for how we planned on using this trailer. We did shop other trailer dealers before going to Crestview. We can't overstate what a difference Tony Garrard made with helping us in our decision. We spent at least 4 hours with Tony before buying our trailer. He was very patient and easy going never felt rushed or pressured in anyway. We also stayed in the Crestview park overnight the day we purchased our trailer. I would highly recommend this to test out everything before pulling away. Also Cabela's is right across the street as well as quite a few restaurants. read more

We took our motorhome to Crestview in BUDA, TX with an intermittent propane furnace problem that had stumped other repair shops and had the factory guessing. Crestview's Service Department representative, Steve, was persistent and worked hard to get to the bottom of the problem and bring it to a positive resolution. He was fully aware of our status as full-timers and made sure that we could return to our campground every night or they put us up in their full service campground overnight, for free. It usually takes weeks or months to get an appointment with other shops. Crestview was very flexible and accommodating, getting us in within a week. Oh, and did I mention that we're from out of state and DID NOT buy our coach at Crestview? In spite of that, we were treated like we were long-time customers who have spent a lot of money there. I can't recommend them too much and if I ever need service of any type or in the market for a new RV, you can be sure I'll come back to Crestview RV. read more

My family had a great experience. We're from out of town and came in specifically to shop for our first RV. Crestview had a huge selection and the prices were at or below the best prices I found online and from another store. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He educated us on the ins and outs of RVs. He pretty much spent the day with us. When it came time to pick up our RV, they had a technician show us how EVERYTHING on the RV worked and put us in their on-site campground so we could use all the systems overnight and ask questions the next day. For a couple of camping newbies, this was perfect. We've had a couple of follow-up conversations on things I maintenance or upgrades and the service department has been great as well. I've recommended Crestview to several family members and will continue to do it for anyone who's in the market. Especially those new to RV'ing! read more

The buying experience was great. We were looking all over for a travel trailer with a specific set of features. I found one on their website, called up Roy and Doug and we worked out a deal on the phone. We were even able to come to an agreement on my trade-in (as long as it was in the condition I said it was). When we went to sign the paperwork we hauled the trailer down there and Doug took care of everything in about 30 min. The trailer I wanted wasn't in stock, so the called me in about 2 weeks and we went to pick it up. We signed all the paperwork and went over every inch of the trailer in about 2 hours. This was the easiest purchase of a titled vehicle I have ever had. I don't know how much I will use the service department since we are in Austin, but I will definately go back when it is time to trade in. read more

I just recently bought a travel trailer from Crestview RV in Georgetown. I am very pleased with my new 2015 Coachman Clipper. I am even more pleased with the service I received at Crestview RV. The sales rep that helped me was Paul McClain and I must say that he did an excellent job getting my set up and helping me find what I was looking for. Randy helped me with the financing and was quick and informative. My hat goes off to the service technician Shannon. He installed a trailer hitch on my truck and an electric braking system. He's fixed me up with everything I need to start a camping adventure. Thank you Crestview team and I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get set up for a camping adventure. Just rolled out my travel trailer today! Heading to Florida on Friday!!! read more

We visited Crestview RV service center in Buda, TX after our brand new Tiffin Allegro Open Road 32SA suffered its second bedroom slide malfunction in our first 2 months of full time living. Desperate, we brought the RV to them on the Monday before Thanksgiving. Their team worked closely with me to diagnose the problem, obtain the parts from Tiffin on a rush 2 day delivery and got the bedroom slide out so we could use it for first time in 2 weeks following our departure from California. Not only that but they found a spot for us in their on-site RV parking for the entire Thanksgiving holiday and weekend. We owe them many thanks. Especially Cedric, Matt, Lynn and Cody. True pros with big hearts who came through for us in a pinch when we needed it most. And over the holiday too! read more

I made a review for the Georgetown location instead of Buda by error. My great service was with Cedric L who assisted me with travel trailer that needed repairs although brand new . I was devastated once I found out the issue. Cedric made me feel better once he stepped up to help me . He was kind and considerate made sure my needs were met considering the delays with parts. Cedric sent one of his best team members Justin F . who came with a smile and very knowledgable . Justin made sure I was satisfied with the work he was doing and he did a great job!! I am so thankful that these two men worked together to get my trailer back in service soon than later . I have no problem giving you guys 5 stars.. Thank you so much read more

I cannot overstate how great the guys are at Crestview RV, Buda! I am a repeat customer. I must say, things are better the second time around. Everyone I had contact with, especially my salesman, Jimmy, were so friendly and professional. No gimmicky sales pressure stuff at all. I got a great no haggle deal. The finance guy was a cool breeze. The technician who painstakingly walked me through the ins and outs of my new RV was hilarious. His jokes and funny stories from other RV owners made my demo that much more informative. I learned so much from that guy. Even if you have to drive a little ways to get to Buda, like I did, it is well worth the trip. I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

After recommendations from four different families went to Crestview RV to buy our "Dream RV". Travis Buck showed us around and patiently answered all our questions (and we had a lot!) Travis was very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable (not at all pushy!) He was always available by phone to walk us through the process. We put in our order for an Open Range 5th wheel with a bath and a half! We were offered a great price for our trade-in.Travis was always there for us to answer questions about the loan and delivery process. We definitely, highly recommend Crestview RV to anyone interested in purchasing a RV! read more

We (me & hubby) flew to Austin to pick up our RV from Crestview. Upon arrival, the entire staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Due to an unforeseen issue with the camper we intended to purchase, we thought we were headed home empty handed. Sara persevered and ultimately we did find an alternative RV that we ended up purchasing. Very happy with our purchase. Sara was AMAZING! (thank you for the Whataburger!!) While the trip did not go as planned the entire Crestview team was very helpful and in the end we went home happy with an RV we love. read more

Very happy with the process of buying our Grand Design. Price was very fair and the down payment was only$200. When I would call them they would answer my questions. Houston dealers want 10-20% of the sales price for a down payment. That would have been $3000-$7000. When I would call the Houston dealers, several never called me back and the one I did talk to would not answer my questions. Crestview down payment was refundable if we chose not to buy. They also have a camp area that you can stay in to get to know your RV. read more

I have been so happy with the three RV transactions at Crestview! Having bought & sold 15 units over 30 years my perspective is to not expect much from a dealership. Mike Regan has the best team I have ever encountered, both sales and service. Whenever my next need for sales, or service, or parts, I will look first to Crestview! I am writing this because I want my fellow RV'ers to avoid some of the painful customer experiences I have had at other dealerships! read more

Mike in service is a Godsend! I took a new coach, to me, in with electrical problems, they diagnosed and fixed in a very short time. Another dealer had it for 3 weeks and was nowhere close to getting to the real problem! Thank you Mike and your service guy, I will recommend you to everyone in the future. And my coach was clean when I got it back, not dirty inside like others, thank you again! Richard Worrall Salado, TX read more

What a terrible experience with Sheldon at Crestview.. This place is like the old school used car salesman mentality. They are far from fair, and far from honest. If you go do not deal with Sheldon.. He is a side stepping impatient crook! My son will be writing a complaint with full details and pictures of their texts.. Terrible customer service! Respectfully, Beverly read more

Awful experience with this dealership. They use cheap tactics to fleece any unsuspecting buyer. The service is terrible its like a weird country club of old sales people who couldn't care less to look at you. The one you get will barely help you and try to squeeze every last dime they see in your pockets. BUYER BEWARE! read more
