Tom is fantastic! I called ATX RV when he was recommended by a neighbor at my RV park in Austin. I had originally asked for his information because my furnace had stopped heating. I ended up calling him earlier than planned because I had a water valve go bad, and lost access to city water. He was able to work me in right away. When he came over, he took a look at the problem, and ordered the part. To keep me functioning, in the meantime, he rerouted some hoses, so that I could use water until the part came in. When he came back to repair the problem, he noticed I had a cracked outside water faucet, and fixed it as well. I was lucky and he had a little bit of time before his next appointment, so he was kind enough to take a look at my furnace. He found out that it was a faulty fuel valve. Again, the part had to be ordered. He called as soon as it came in, and came right out to finish. With both repairs, he corrected some poor installation from the factory, and made it easier to access and repair (in case something different went wrong) in the future. He takes credit cards, and sends you an electronic, typed receipt. He tells you the price of the parts, and doesn't mark them up. (He even gave me the option of buying my own parts, if I preferred.) Purchased a brand new 23 Jayco Jayflight 334RTS in July. Almost since day 1 the water heater had an E1 code and no hot water. Not really a big deal when it's over 100 outside, but with temps dropping, it was very apparent that no hot water, especially when showering, sucks . Getting out to turn off the control panel and try again (several times) was frustrating. We live in ours full time and taking it to the dealer to sit for weeks and maybe get fixed was not an option. Saw James at the park one day and told him what was going on and he came over as soon as he was done with another customer in the park. Found a ground wire that wasn't grounded correctly. Problem seemed fixed, paid for diagnosis and repair (very reasonable). At 8 pm that night, James texted me to make sure it was still working. All was well, so I told him. 6 am the next morning the E1 started again. I texted him at 8 am, and within hours he let me know that suburban (manufacturer) was replacing unit. 3 days later James is at the RV, takes the broken unit out, replaced it with the working one and boom.. problem fixed.
