She called me on a Friday and asked if I would go with her to pick up a used 2018 trailer in Dallas, to replace her 2012 problematic current home. After hearing that a Dallas dealer was clearly trying to take advantage of her by charging $2500 over their listed used price because she had her own financing, I said let's look here locally for an honest dealer and a much better new home. I was aware of Crestview RV in Buda, along with another RV dealer. I had made contact with the competitor in Buda, and my friend with Crestview RV and consultant John Giguere. We started our day on Saturday at the competitor who had emailed me several Toy Hauler units, (what my friend wanted) "to come look at" but when we arrived found they were not even in their Buda branch, but many hours away, which was deceptive. After a few hours there, getting a pushy used car vibe from managers and being shown less than ideal units (as the ones sent me were not in there stock), we then went to Crestview RV across the freeway, and we are VERY glad we did! From sweet Courtney at the front desk, to our ZERO pressure and super knowledgeable consultant, John Giguere, all the way to our tech Mark, who ultimately did our thorough and very informational and complete walkthrough, we received honest and very helpful information and guidance. We literally went from looking at a very used 8 year old unit at another dealer where they used intimidation and pressure, to going to peaceful zero pressure and sincere guidance at Crestview RV in Buda. John looked for the best match to my friends needs, not pushing something just to get a sale. John helped us find a beautiful well-built Jayco 265TH at Crestview RV brand new on clearance for only 1K more than the other dealers very used unit! Not only was it very well built, beautiful, fiberglass sided and brand new, but it came with industry leading warranties to further protect my friends investment in her full time living forever home! John also gave me suggestions to be able to get 5k more than what other dealers offered for her used RV, as with a little work on it that I can do, it will be a perfect Texas Deer Lease trailer! WTF Below is the full list of issues we had with the RV: - When we left Austin the glass window fell out on bedroom window onto the roadway - On our way back to Austin, we lost a second window on the dining slide out onto the roadway - Air conditioner not working in main room, E4 error code - 24/7 support not available, voicemail box full. - Roadside assistance said they couldn't help us with any of the problems - 7' broken wood board on slideout, fell and almost hit daughter in the head - The gauge on the freshwater tank doesn't work so can't tell if there's any water or not. Only discovered on the 3rd day the tank was full of water - Water fill hose leaking at connection, spraying water all over. We couldn't use the camp site water because of issue. - Hot water doesn't work on kitchen faucet - Back up camera not working - Various windows/mechanisms broken and taped on outside with shipping tape - Broken screen door handle - No key for outside storage locks - Leg on Queen bed is loose/broken - Door on bedroom doesn't stay closed or latch - Window shade in bedroom is broken - Right rear view mirror very loose - Kitchen drawers won't stay set - Slide out panel controls are reverse - Check engine light was on the whole trip. Not only do we have none of our original requests addressed with the RV from day one (water heater, replaced wall panels, etc) we still have a non-operative black water tank with the Kyle location claims to have fixed. The master toilet will not work because the blackwater tank is full and DOES NOT DRAIN .... We have tested today by filling it up and being able to visibly see it doesn't work thus means the toilet doesn't work. We also asked they fix a panel that had fallen off. I'm absolute shocked at the half A$$ manner in which is what put back up and happy to send pictures. STAY AWAY FROM EXPLORE USA!!! #1 - We purchased a $140K RV from this dealership and when we stopped by to see it and measure some things for additional purchases - the unit they showed us WAS NOT what we had agreed on. They tried to make us seem stupid by telling us were confused but it was not even the same interior color. Because of the salesman (whom we really liked) we agreed to move forward (of course - they already had our cash) but they made concessions - most of which they had not followed up on. #2 - We were asked to come at a certain time for delivery of the unit (a 2 hour drive) and when we arrived - we waited over an hour only to find out that the RV was barely even started and would not be ready. In fact - some of their agreement could not be done for days or weeks and they would arrange for a local dealer to do it for us .... It's been weeks and that's not even been scheduled. One panel was completely bubbled and needed to be replaced but we haven't heard a word about that. #3 - On our first trip - walls fell out, plugs didn't work, black and gray water didn't drain, etc. We had quite a list of broken things on a brand new RV. We tried to avoid working with them and went directly to Vanleigh (who has been AWESOME) but ended up having to go back to the dealer. They were supposed to fix onsite because of our distance but had it over a week and when told to pick up - most things are stil not corrected but all we get is complete and total BS and attitude from the service manager and dealer manager.

I advised her I had no knowledge of what she was talking about and she insisted I was someone that she was addressing for a parts problem, when all along her information was incorrect. As I called, to follow up, AJ answers the phone randomly and offers to take a message. On another attempt to reach Brooklyn, AJ forward to my call to Servando, a sales rep who also states, I will look into this, speak to Brooklyn and call you back, also a failed response. After another failed attempt to speak to Brooklyn, I asked to speak to Mr. Turner, the manager. Also, with a failed attempt and no callback. I would highly recommend to look at the reviews prior to any purchases made here, as I should've done! Camping World, you need to do better and be more attentive to your customers and their RV camping needs.
