Very pleased with Crescent Movers. I had a very urgent moving situation that occurred on the last day of August, arguably the busiest day for movers. I called over 10 movers in the area - Crescent is one of the few that responded and they graciously discounted the price since it was only one piece of furniture. Moving is awful. Always. Unless you get lucky and stumble on a great moving company like this one. These guys arrived on time, moved quickly and were super friendly. Most importantly, they handled all of our stuff with care and even asked us whether we wanted them to move any of our furniture to a new spot once it was all assembled, etc. The price was ridiculously reasonable too. I called another company that wanted twice what Crescent charged so I'm glad I continued to look around. As this was my tenth move in 8 years, I hope to not be moving again in the near future, but if I have to - I'm calling these guys. read more

We used these guys for move in and out of a high rise on Sheridan. Even with only one elevator they rocked our 2 bedroom out in 2 hours, then packed the trailer tighter than a box of crayons. Nice guys, professional and hard working. Highly recommended. read more

Crescent Movers was an OK experience but had enough flaws that I won't be coming back. Let's start with the good: Crescent Movers were very fast (1.5 hours) and arrived only 20 minutes after the start time, which I don't think is that late for a moving company. On the downside, I was charged for a full three hours of moving, double what it ook. This is because Crescent Movers insisted on setting me up for a minimum of three hours based on my apartment (moving to a third floor walkup, though from a first floor. Although I assured them I had very very few possessions and would not need that much time, they insisted on booking a 3-hour time slot. Thus I ended up paying, after tip,almost 500$ for less than 2 hours of work. That's pretty insane. In addition, the movers were pretty careless unless you specifically emphasized BE CAREFUL with a particular item. They were pretty careless for instance and ruined my girlfriend's purse because they feel the need to tape every single object in sight up with movers tape. Another 200$ down the drain. To summarize, the movers themselves were very hardworking, but also careless and the company will make sure to get every dime they can from you so I'd recommend going somewhere else. read more

I did not hesitate to use crescent for a second time since their performance was absolutely FLAWLESS for my last move. This time around I unfortunately was not so lucky. The guys themselves moved and got things done as quickly as possible which I do appreciate. I will admit that some things in the house weren't organized due to my very hectic work schedule, but unfortunately this time around multiple items were broken, scratched and missing pieces. Most items we didn't notice for a week because of our hectic work schedules we are barely getting to unpacking things. I now have to toss an indoor electric George foreman grill and a newer floor fan because their stands (simple black poles) are missing. My treadmill's top arm assembly were broken off and placed back on for both sides so They fall off if you bump the treadmill, or pull on them. My $200 year old vacuum is broken and completely inoperable. My year old French door refrigerator had gashes and dings in the door and even my cheap ikea tables had dings and scratches. Unfortunately, due to these issues. I cannot again recommend crescent movers and feel badly that I referred them to 3 additional people moving in the near future. read more

IF YOU NEED IT DONE NOW We had a death in the family! We had to vacate our oldest member from her apartment in a short amount of time and I literally called 30 movers. These guys will be #1 on my list ALWAYS. 1. The lady who answered the phones was not only nice but direct and comforting 2. We needed to move a specialty mattress and the daughter and grand daughter was stressed out about the move after losing their mom / grandmother. And Crescent did it so well! They not only moved everything smoothly but made it an easy transition and were kind the daughter and grand daughter (my sister and niece) though from Chicago I live in Dallas as I type this and I had to have this done 1000 miles away. Can not recommend this team more! We move a two bedroom condo and storage unit to a home. We were planning to move just before our baby's arrival but the baby decide to come a few days just before the move. We ended up adding on packing services and these guys could not have been more professional, hard workers. We was moving with this company couple of days ago and this is my think. First I call and man name Christian pick up the phone he was so helpful everytime when I call him he was friendly and try to give me as more information and as more help as he can. What was really helpful because company what my husband work give us so short notice that we must move from Chicago to Dallas only for one week. After all my calls we have a day when our staff should be pick up from Chicago apartment. I'm really appreciate customer service what he gave it to me. In the morning we have schedule the time for 9 a.m. the guys will come and pick up our stuff. Walter and Ricardo was exactly at times what we was talkin. Thay was so friendly and bright people. All our clothes and stuff was box already they move boxes so fast and professional they was asking the question what do you want go first, and where are fragrance staff that we be most careful with. They take care of all our furniture very well. Are stuff from Chicago was on way to Dallas. Thay was driving all night and morning. We meet them in Dallas next day. I say after 24 hours of Hard Work they still was friendly and welcom. In Dallas everything arrived just perfect. I forget wrap some glass but thay arrive in perfect way. Absolutely nothing was Not Broke. Everything was just perfect thank you so much Walter and Ricardo for such a great job we are really appreciate you hard work. This company was superb! Had them go to my storage, pick-up key, remove all contents I had stored for a one-bedroom apartment, & deliver & set-up in new apartment. Crescent movers moved my boxes quickly and did not break anything, although I was threatened by one of the movers after I paid and gave him a tip. He actually cornered me in my apartment and verbally harassed me for giving him "too low" of a tip and refused to leave until I paid him more money. It was a terrifying and ridiculously unprofessional experience. I was actually scared that he would hurt me if I didn't give him more money. I called the company, which decided to refund me for the price of the tip since their employee verbally threatened me and would not leave my apartment. However, it took two additional calls and several weeks went by before I actually received the refund. Obviously, I would NOT recommend this moving company! read more

Wife and I bought a condo a block away and we used Crescent again on a recent Saturday morning. Moving time was 9am and they arrived right around that time. Loaded up a 2BR apartment, was able to remove some old furniture to the alley (they actually kept anything with metal to scrap later), and unloaded at the new place. It's a duplex down and I had a couch ordered from Art Van Furniture sitting upstairs that those delivery guys were too weak so I had them leave it there for the movers. They handled that, and around 2pm or so we were done. Would have been sooner but they spent some time re-taping some items and properly preparing things we hadn't done adequately before hand. Water and snacks was provided but they didn't seem to take any breaks. It's possible one at a time was getting a breather outside but we didn't notice as we were unpacking the whole time. They also agreed to deliver a gas grill about a block away to a friends house (upstairs) - I mentioned this at the start of the move - and ended up doing this after everything was paid for. 3 guys and a truck for all of my stuff was about $600 or so, worth every penny. I may not have tipped enough, or maybe I did it wrong - are you supposed to give it all to the foreman who gives it out to everyone else? I handed equal amounts of cash to each mover and one of them promptly stretched it out and showed it to the foreman who nodded, as if he needed approval. I consider myself a generous tipper but I don't feel 20% like a dinner bill is necessary either. We later noticed our coffee table was scratched up a bit but we're going to replace it anyway. read more

It took me a while to post this review. I read reviews and thought it was a good decision when we chose Crescent. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience in 2016. Here's a rundown: FIRST-THE GOOD-our movers were FAST. Sure, the main guy kept banging our things into our chandeliers as he hustled down the hallway, but they hauled a**, I'll give them that. Cheap. Cheapest we found. The BAD- Waaay too early! They were scheduled between 1-3pm. Arrived promptly at 10AM. No phone call ahead of time to inform us. They showed up and just announced they were ready to get started. Our suggestion that they get some breakfast and come back later when they were scheduled was ignored. Not cool. They ran out of room in the truck, and we had to finish the move ourselves. It's was our second time moving in the year. Same amount of stuff we had last summer. They KNEW we had plants, as it was in their estimate, but they left them behind along with several other items, saying they "ran out of room". When I inquired about this, the phone rep insisted "We don't ever move plants-EVER. We aren't even allowed to" (something about bugs). He went on and on. After going back and forth for what seemed like an eternity, I looked on our documentation and pointed out our plants WERE IN THE ESTIMATE. He then changed his story, and mentioned something about a special "plant box" requirement. These plant boxes were forgotten by the movers and so were our plants. The UGLY- A LOT of damaged furniture. We packaged all of our furniture in plastic wrap ourselves, since I read that they use it, and we would actually be CHARGED EXTRA for any wrap they supplied. (a rather exorbitant expense) This somehow translated into a "blanket free" move to them. No, we were NOT standing outside the moving truck monitoring blanket use and furniture care. (I highly recommend you do this) We trusted them to do THEIR job. Our apartment stairs were carpeted, and we weren't micro-managing the moving team. We figured they would use blankets as they saw fit. Nope. MULTIPLE PIECES OF OUR FURNITURE WERE BADLY DAMAGED. You would think Crescent would own up to this obvious negligence, but after an initial flat out denial, then accusations that we actually "told the movers NOT to use blankets" (wtf?), weeks of back and forth discussion, insults about the original state our furniture, and multiple phone calls gone unreturned, I advise you: If you value your furniture, don't hire Crescent. Inconsistant customer service They eventually, albeit VERY reluctantly, offered a couple of hundred dollars as a refund. We had 2 brand new pieces for our babies nursery basically ruined (scratched/dented/chunks missing), in addition to bad damage to many of our older pieces. I felt we deserved a complete refund, they literally laughed at me. So pompous! We settled on a 300.00 refund after nearly a MONTH of back and forth arguing. Both reps made a variety of crappy remarks about how our furniture "looked like it was made of particle board/from Ikea/thrift". Constant excuses! The customer service team was very shady. Some of our furniture was old and some of it was not. The damage was extensive. When I called (multiple times) to attempt to resolve the problems, there was never a swift "That's not acceptable, let's take care of it". Both employees went around and around, until I was ready to lose my mind. They would get me off the phone for one reason or another, promising to call back in an hour. Days would pass. Calls would be unreturned. I made no less than 7 attempts for 3 weeks trying to resolve the issues. There was NO follow through with this company. When I did get through they would literally completely forget who I was and what went wrong, and the defensive excuses and weirdness would start all over again. Additional unacceptable BS.... It took nearly 2 HOURS for the moving team to travel between our old home in West Rogers to our new place in Irving Park, a one shot drive to the highway. Moving truck left our old place about 25 minutes BEFORE we did. Literally an HOUR after we got to our new place, I called headquarters, thinking our movers stopped for a lunch break and forgot to inform us. Immediately, I was questioned about weather or not I had "told them which route to take". In an era of Google Maps, Waze and other traffic predictors, I'M supposed to tell a company that specializes in driving things from one place to the next which way to drive?? This was definitely NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY. And if it was, the movers should've pointed that out-AND ASKED. BTW, they didn't even tell us they left, I looked out the window and they were gone! Turns out, they stopped to pick up another dude. (Didn't ask us if we wanted him either, but we had to pay for him) They also reeked of weed when they returned. We were promised 5 wardrobe boxes. I moved to Chicago and shortly after had to relocate again. I used crescent movers both times. Walter and Ricardo are phenomenal! Both times these two were 10/10. They have a positive attitude and made my experience moving in & out a breeze. They were very helpful and easy to talk too. Lifting furniture is no joke and these guys made it looks easy. Just remember cash is king. I read a review of a person tipped them 40$ for 4 1/2hrs of work. That's a slap in the face in my eyes when it comes this moving company. I did moved with them recently from Chicago, IL to SW Suburb. Good things: Ray and Will were really Friendly(they both cared about my stuff as its there stuff and handle them with care) Quick and very fast, Organized some of my stuff (Like setting up my bed and putting computer table in my bed room) which was really nice of them. Not So Good things: They charged me 10 dollar more for wrapping one additional item(I asked for three items for wrapping they charged me for four) without asking me. They could have removed that from the bill as they finished the work in 2 hour and 20 minutes and they got paid for three hours. 10 dollar not big deal though, so I will definitely use them again and recommend them. read more

Ok.. I have used these guys around a year ago and I just realized I didn't post the review I have written. So here you go.. AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS! I don't even know where to start but I guess this is going to be a long review since nothing, NOTHING went right with these guys.. And don't ever trust what they say, they lie to your face pretty easily. I moved couple months ago and by the time I was moving, I was in a really tight schedule and my building wasn't really helping it, since the freight elevator was getting booked weeks earlier than the actual move dates. So if you can find a time that works for you (your job, family, etc.) you have to book it. So I called these guys with a specific date and time in mind. At first, they told me that they were booked on that day and time (I booked the elevator for an extended time even though moving everything to the truck wouldn't take more than an hour since I didn't have lots of items). Then they called me back in 1 hour saying they got an opening between 1 and 3 (I booked the elevator from 12 to 5). Since I already had couple movers told me that they were booked for that date and time, I happily accepted to hire these guys. Everything after this just went downhill. Remember, they were supposed come at 1 pm.. I called the office at 12:45 to make sure they were coming. They said yes they would come between 1 and 3. Remember they said had an opening between 1 and 3 which usually means you come around 1, do the job and leave around 3 for the next job, right? Now they are saying that they would show up between 1 and 3 and finish the job god knows when. I was still ok with it, I had the elevator until 5. At 2 o'clock I called them again and they told me the movers were on the way and would be at my unit in 20 minutes. Desperately I said ok, what else can I do? There is no way I could find a mover in an hour or so. At 3, I called again. No one picked up... I guess I gave up at that point. I don't really remember but at 3:30 either they returned my call or I called back and they told me the movers were 3 BLOCKS AWAY. Those 2 guys showed up at 4:15.. Remember my elevator was reserved til 5. They rush-carried everything to the truck damaging everything and they were done with the elevator around 5:15. Of course people at my building had to be d*cks (even though they were completely aware that the movers didn't show up and it wasn't my fault) and they charged me for an extra hour. I called Crescent Movers and asked them to cover the charge. It was a Friday and the building office wouldn't open until Monday. They said "sure", they would take care of it with the office. Guess what.. They just didn't. I had to pay for the elevator just because they just showed up 3 hours and 15 minutes late. I don't even want to mention the damage they caused to my property since I'm pretty sure you got that when I said they "rush-carried everything" Just be careful with these guys is all I can say.. read more

Cresent was recommended to me, seemed like a reputable well regarded company. I used them for a local move last year, 2 bedroom apartment. Terrible experience. The price quoted me was half of what it actually ended up being, though I had used their online quoting tool and gotten an over the phone quote, listing everything I had. The workers were incredibly rude, constantly complaining about how hard the move was and how much work they needed to do. They weren't careful with my boxes, stacking clearly marked fragile boxes on the bottom, so at the end the boxes were smashed and I had multiple broken glass pieces. The furniture they wrapped still ended up with scratches and chips. While transporting the furniture they ruined the wallpaper in the stairwell. When I called to complain they were completely unhelpful and unaccommodating, and did not reimburse for anything. Beware, stay far away. read more

Friendly, hard working crew that got the job done on a miserable day. Too bad they apparently have an opportunist in the mix. After reading the review below where someone was missing cash, I decided to post our warning well. I had something very valuable hidden in a dumb place that I stupidly forgot about. My fault for not securing something important to me and not retrieving it to a safe place for the move. BUT...an item from the valuable bag, a single earring, was found on the floor of our new place...without me ever packing it (and the hiding place was in a piece of furniture disassembled by the crew). The sweetest guy on the crew gave the item to my husband...let me say again...he found at our NEW place, at the beginning of th loaf in. Which means the bag was found, transported and opened up enough for something to fall out AT OUR NEW PLACE!! Everything we owned was in a taped box, plus I know I never packed it...yet a single earring somehow showed up on the floor of our new apartment. My husband, in the chaos of moving, took the earring, put it in his pocket, and didn't think of it or tell me about it until the next day when I was unpacking and wondering where all my family heirlooms were and remembered I hid them in a small jewelry bag between our box spring and bed frame. It pains me to write this, because we really liked these guys and they did a great job...until I realized my jewelry bag was missing, remembered I had hidden it in our bed frame the last time we went on vacation a few weeks prior, told me husband-who remembered that somehow, a tiny piece of that jewelry collection had been found at the new place during move in...which again means that bag was found, transported, and opened!!! Not by me!!! Of course I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and called, just to see if they could ask the crew member who found the earring where exactly he found it so I could look more closely in that room or area...they said no one on the crew would steal and assured me I would find my jewelry. Nope :( We did file a police report but... They have the best rates and we had a good move. I really liked the head guy and a couple guys on the crew were so nice and awesome. If I hadn't left a bag of precious family jewelry in my bed frame to be stolen, this would be a 5 Star Review. Again...these guys do a great move at a great rate...there's just an opportunist in the ranks. So beware :( read more

This week was the second time I've used Crescent Movers in the past two years. My previous move was an extremely light, short-distance move, so I was a little more anxious about this one. Pre-moving day, the folks who answered the phone were always extremely friendly and helpful--I called a couple of times to inquire about specific details, and I always left the phone calls feeling reassured. Moving day went perfectly. The three movers--Anthony, Phil, and Jeremy--were right on time (and they had called me about 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to confirm they were en route). These guys were upbeat, friendly, talkative, and efficient. We actually completed the move-out process about an hour early, which made the move-in process even smoother because we had time to get settled and check-in with the folks in my new building. We stayed in contact via text to take care of some logistical issues with my new building and everything went off without a hitch. As a bonus, Crescent Movers un-assemble and reassemble furniture at no additional cost! Definitely recommend! read more

To summarize this review, I DO NOT recommend Crescent Movers. I wanted to use a local Chicago moving company. I called over a month before my move in date and scheduled first slot available, 9am. I called a week before and was assured over the phone, and email, "you're on the schedule, no worries"... I called the morning of just to make sure everything was good, no questions about alley, etc. and they told me I WASN'T ON THE SCHEDULE. They said they'd call right back, I heard nothing. After calling multiple times with no follow through on their end, movers showed up 5.5 HOURS LATE. I was charged $250 from my management company for lack of communication/providing an exact time frame (I was supposed to be out by noon), and was told by Crescent they'd "make it right". The movers hustled, but used an obscene amount of materials and took no special care of labeled fragile boxes and most things were turned upside down. I was originally quoted $470 for a large one bedroom apartment, 3 guys. When it came time to pay my bill was over $900 and the manager wanted to credit me only half the travel fee... $60. After some push back they finally agreed to $120 discount. After having the mover hover over me I just agreed to the amount and handed my credit card over. After looking over the invoice afterwards, I never even received my credit. I've tried emailing and calling but seems they are dodging my calls. This service has been unacceptable, especially on an overall stressful day, with the main issue being the lack of communication and follow through from management! Do not use Crescent Movers. Would give zero stars if I could. This is a long review, but please if you do anything, read my bullet point list below. You will see in my Yelp review history I do not typically review, but you'll also see I give positive reviews as well. Here, I have to give Crescent Movers the lowest possible rating I can. I could go through the ins and outs of the story, but I want to make sure you read all of this and know that this is NOT a credible company. customer service is horrendous and follow through is terrible. I used Crescent Movers for my long distance move. The following occurred: -A mover broke my $5000 dresser, a glass drawer. I understand the risk with glass and moving furniture, but the mover was carelessly yanking the drawers out (they were empty). I heard the tail end of this while i was on a phone call and re-entered the room. -The force of the yanking broke the drawer. the mover lied to my face to say the big crack was there before. Please see the picture. I would have seen this. I told him he was lying and he told me "fine, call management" -I call Jimmy and he tells me a guy in Chicago can potentially fix it. I have to call Jimmy back repeatedly to confirm if this is going to happen even when he tells me he will call me back. it doesn't happen. -I call multiple glass places in my new town and no one will assist because it's custom glass work. I don't blame them, but I share this to demonstrate I was trying to find a solution. -I call management and leave many messages to understand what will be done to make me whole. They insist they will fix this situation. No one calls me back. -After they move me in, I get to payment and I have to haggle with the mover to take money off. he's making me feel terrible it's coming out of his paycheck. I try to call management, no answer. We can only agree to take a fraction (SMALL fraction) of the price off. This is where I went wrong. I shouldn't have paid. -The next day I get a text from one of the movers asking if I tipped at all because if I did, he didn't receive it. I did. The other mover, who broke my drawer, took the entire tip for himself. How unprofessional that a mover has to text me to check on their tip. -The drawer with the glass broken no longer works. In the process of yanking it out they ruined the traction so I have a useless drawer. unfortunately I didn't know this until after they left. -I've called management since to try to work out a solution (i.e., fair compensation) and they do not return calls It's one thing to damage a piece of furniture. But its another to have horrendous customer service and not truly work with your customers on a resolution rather leaving them to leave bad reviews and let everyone they know to not use your business. Please beware and make sure you are prepared for any inconvenience and not receiving ANY help from the Crescent Movers team. read more

Overall, a very easy experience that would have easily been four starts had it not been for an incident that nearly caused property damage and personal injury - as noted below. PROS Very punctual, even on the early side Very accurate estimate as to how much time the move would take Charged what was quoted Quick Easy and friendly Careful with the furniture CON The guys tried to lower a big bookcase out of the balcony and onto the driveway as it would not fit in the elevator. While doing so, one of the guys almost dropped the rope, and the bookcase swung around, almost dropping to the ground and almost hitting my mother who was below dead on the head. The bookcase does not seem to have been properly secured by the ropes, and it was obviously too heavy for the guys - and it almost caused a huge damage and nearly hurt or killed my mom. I used them TODAY and I couldn't wait to write my review. First of all, it is 3 pm and I am organizing my new apartment because WHAT? My movers were done in 2.5 hours. George and Josue were awesome. They called and asked if I was ready an hour early, which I was. They cleared the entire move by 10:30 am. I have now had all all day to organize because of them. After searching all the "big" companies to move me, and constantly being told that my stuff couldn't be delivered for 10 - 14 days, or they were quoting me HUGE fees, I found Crescent Movers and I'm thrilled. They moved me from the Chicago area to Minneapolis in ONE DAY. Jimmy and his crew were amazing! They packed my entire house, drove to Minnesota and unpacked me in one day and NOTHING was damaged. It was a flawless move. Jimmy and his crew were absolutely professional and made this hectic transition and move easy. I moved my one-bedroom apartment during the pandemic and Crescent Movers was communicative, safe, and fast! On the day of my move, Luis, Alex, and Jay arrived early (with a call to make sure that was okay, of course) and worked quick and efficiently. They were patient with my horrible packing skills and got me settled in to my new apartment within a few hours. They are a great group of guys and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They sent the truck a day late. I tried to call... No response. Horrible customet service. The workers on the trucks are great. But the management and dispatchers are scammers. CRESCENT MOVERS: They arrived on time and got right to work. And these guys work! No wasting time, no slowing down, good attitude and very helpful. We moved from one condo to another on time with loads of furniture, boxes, rugs and all the other stuff that comes from living and these guys did it all. Zip-zip-zip Thanks Jimmy, Jose and Walter. I never heard of Crescent movers. I originally called two men and a truck and left message and also submitted a request online and they never returned my call. One day I was driving in my neighborhood and saw crescent movers truck and jotted down their number, which was easy to remember. I went home and called two men and a truck and finally got through and a quote. And afterwards called Crescent. Turns out crescent was less expensive and responded to my call immediately. They came as a three man team Juan, Alex and Alejandro. They knew exactly what to do in a Very efficient and expeditious manner. Very polite and professional. I highly recommend Crescent Movers. They are cheaper, answer your questions and calls ASAP and work very efficiently. read more

I've used crescent movers now three times personally and have referred them to a bunch of my friends over the years. They have always been great... until this last time. Short story is that we had called to book them. Jimmy swore that he had us down for the day we needed to move and that we would get a quote via email and we could sign and pay our deposit... which never came. We called back 3 times and on the 4th time we had to say that we were not going to get off of the phone until Jimmy confirmed the move. He then asked if it had to be that day--yes, it has to be that day because WERE MOVING and have sold our house! So, clearly he never booked us. He ended up making a way to happen in the schedule. The day of the move, our team showed up and had just finished 2 or 3 other jobs. They had drastically underestimated how much stuff we had. They ended up having to get a second truck and a second team. The cost more than doubled. The move was quoted at 4 hours. It took 9. The movers were great... but they were exhausted... they're human beings after all. They were a bit slow because they were clearly tired and at the end of the night ~10:30pm they were having a hard time getting our furniture in... lots of dents, scratches in our furniture and brand new walls. I don't blame the moving teams I blame the management and Jimmy. Will never use again, I highly advise caution if you want to book these guys. There are better companies out there. read more

Crescent Movers is by far one of the worst companies I have ever done business with. The move began with the movers incredibly careless with my furniture, leaving scratches on everything, and broke one of my favorite frames. They took the piece inside the frame, which I had asked them not to do. It took me about 2 weeks of relentless calling some of the dumbest people I have ever met. After I finally got in touch with the owner...two weeks later, I got my piece returned to me with the agreement that they would reimburse me for the cost of the frame. THEN IT GETS WORSE, I sent them the receipt for the frame, and they told me they would mail me my check. After calling daily and being IGNORED for another week, I am told the check has finally been mailed. Another two weeks go by...no check. Finally, I am told that the check was sent back to them. They forgot to put my apartment number on the envelope.... I have been calling and texting both Jimmy and Alex DAILY to get this check for over $300 from them. They repeatedly ignore me. I have not heard from them in weeks. These are two of the worst people I have ever done business with in my entire life. Not only are they unprofessional, they are completely incapable of taking responsibility for their own actions and trying to make them right. I would NEVER work with Crescent Movers again and am considering reporting them to the BBB within the week. read more

Holy smokes, this moving company was the BEST experience I've EVER had with a move! The relocation specialists Jimmy and Alex couldn't have been more polite and accommodating with me as I planned my girlfriend's move. The price was very reasonable, and the movers that showed up (Joe and Umero) were FANTASTIC! We moved from a third floor walk-up studio apartment to a first floor two bedroom apartment in the freezing cold and these guys had it done within two hours!! I was SO IMPRESSED with Joe and Umero's work ethic and professionalism, and the kindness and care they provided with my girlfriend's belongings was exceptional! We've used this company a few times and always had a great experience. They're quick and friendly and communicate well. We've never had anything stolen or any items damaged, and they moved a lot of furniture for us. They were great about taking down and re-building our bed frame as well. We're planning to use them again in a couple of months and will update my review if we have a different experience- but so far, so good! read more

Movers were great! They came early and worked fast, smoothest move I have ever had. Gerardo and Alex were extremely nice and accommodating. They handled our furniture with care and even offered to repair one of my tables for no added charge. Lastly, the price is very reasonable and one of the lowest in the area. I hired Crescent Movers for my last move, and I was very impressed with the entire process. Over the phone, they made it easy to book and gave me an accurate and fair quote. On moving day, Tim and Anthony were professional, courteous and FAST! They made sure to take care of my belongings, and they took the time to make sure that everything was moved out of my old apartment and situated where I would like it in my new apartment. read more
