If you don't like my neighborhood, just say that. I could have been looking for someone else, but due to having CONFIRMATION that they would be here, I didn't. Just wasted a whole lot of time and now have to find some else LITERALLY LAST MINUTE. Wtf UPDATE: they didn't show the entire day and days later still haven't returned my phone calls, and I didn't curse or tell them what I really should have said.

They offered days that didn't work, it was communicated they didn't work. We gave two more days of options. We were then ghosted until the day of. Me and my partner both called to get information, no one answered. Hours later than the scheduled time we were told there was an emergency and they were so sorry. We were left scrambling the day of the move and ended up finding someone on Facebook, but not before an afternoon of worrying. He told us when we hired to go check out the yelp reviews to see how great they were. Here to tell you, the lack of professionalism and communication is not 5 star worthy, or even two stars.

I'm gonna say that again, an entire one bedroom apartment worth of furniture on an 8" flatbed truck from Home Depot from TWO different storage locations 20 minutes apart, then another 20 minutes to my new place, all within 2 hours. And they did it with confidence, professionalism, and positivity, without stressing at all. Unbelievable. I was worried I would have to wait until next Saturday to move in, but Windy City Movers made it happen. I cannot say enough good things about them.

I would use Movers on The Spot again if I needed something transported/moved in my immediate vicinity.

Which is evident by the way you've responded to other negative reviews. I am openly gay and clearly you're a homophobe. Thank you for letting the world know via your response. They probably should have said so immediately and not have taken so much time to complete the job or offer to help move boxes around when they noticed there was still some time left. They both also lingered after to converse with me, both of them shook my hand and asked me to keep them in mind for future moves. Clearly, no one was flirting with anyone and no one felt uncomfortable. Joe, you just don't know how to act professionally. Update: After a rude message from their manager, Joe, implying the damage to the stuff they moved was possibly my fault, I have to lower their star rating. It's not as if I was requesting compensation for the damage, I just wanted to leave an honest review and still he felt the need to act combatively. When the first moving company I hired failed to confirm their services 48 hours before the move date I was forced to call around to find another company who could do the job on short notice. Well Move You 4 Less stepped up and they even showed up 30 minutes early. Which I appreciated because I wasn't forced to wait around. However, I can't honestly say that all of my belongings made it to my new place in one piece. Some items were damaged and because of that I cannot, in good conscience, leave them 5 stars. They were professional and worked quickly.
