Such a cute French/Parisian style cafe! They have sweet and savory crepes to choose from as well as some coffee, teas, and juices. My partner and I decided to get one sweet and one savory (Jambon & Nutella) and both were equally yummy! Kind of pricey for a crepe, but still a good time. The food was great and the service very friendly. The place has a nice ambiance but it was pretty warm inside, even though it was only 75 degrees outside. Hard to imagine what this place feels like in the summer as there is no AC. I would have given 5 stars but the bathroom situation is really bad... to access the bathroom, you have to exit the restaurant and proceed down a long hallway inside the building. On the way back, there are multiple hallways and doors and the restaurant is not marked but for a small paper that says "yes!" on it. My mother used the wrong door and wound up in a locked courtyard with no way back in or out for 10min before I went looking for her. This certainly didn't make for a pleasant experience. I would recommend displaying a sign with the restaurant name on the door. read more

For the savory, I never had a crepe with Buckwheat flour but I'm intrigued now. I think it's hardy and rich and it would stand up nicely with some intense spiceness like sriracha, gojuchang or harissa sauces. The sweet was a delight, airy. So good. This is a place to go when you're not in a hurry and just wanting to catch up with friends. The crepes are not big, more like a snack, so you'll want to get at least two if you actually want a meal. Like stepping into an olde French cafe with dark, rustic wood everywhere. It had an artsy and exuberant vibe to it. Definitely forces you to engage with the scenery inside. We had two savory crepes and one sweet crepe. It was my first time having crepes that weren't stuffed with ice cream and sweet sauces and fruit. I think I much rather prefer savory crepes than sweet crepes now. The wait staff here have been in the business for quite awhile, you can tell how much experience they have in the service industry. Our family of four settled in for a meal during a college visit. The staff were kind and answered questions about the menu with great knowledge. French classic songs were playing in the background and the wait staff spoke French as well as English. The furnishings were reminiscent of what you might find in a coastal French cafe. I ordered a savory vegetarian crepe that was to die for and everyone else in my party ordered sweet crepes that they loved enough to not share a bite. Fresh ingredients and buckwheat flour for additional nutrition and flavor in my crepe. My cappuccino was perfect and the entire cafe smelled intoxicating between the freshly made crepes and the specialty coffees. I learned later that the cafe has an online presence through which you can order takeout or reserve a table in advance. I have been here 3 times now. The crepes are absolutely amazing. Everything else leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Service is very very slow. All 3 times I have ordered a mimosa for them to not have any champagne to make them. The second time I was there they had no coffee the espresso machine was not working so my only choice was water. They do have a couple sparkling ciders but I tried them the first time I was there and they were warm and flat. This last time we were a group of 6 I was third to arrive. The first person that got there first had ordered an espresso, I was there for over half hour before the server ever came back to table to see if we wanted anything to drink. This is where it gets interesting as for their beverage menu. They do not have ice!!! How do you have no ice so water is always room temperature and no iced tea or even iced coffee drinks and they do not serve decaf!!! I always get the crepe with the fig, goat cheese and arugula. It is absolutely amazing. Just the right combination of ingredients. Honestly I think you should switch to a byob policy. I will be back for the mouth watering crepes, but I will stop and have mimosas somewhere else before dining. Or go to another place afterwards like I did this last time. read more

Time: Jan 2023 I went here for brunch on a weekend; this place has been on my list to visit for some time because I like savory crepes. There were a couple tables of patio seating and an outdoor cart, but it was too cold to be operating. The interior of the place is very well-themed. It felt like I stepped back in time to a rustic house in the serene French countryside. There were mostly small tables for two, but there was another dining space that I didn't get to go into that I saw bigger parties go into. It was also cool to see the kitchen right from the dining area so you can see the crepe you ordered being made. They were really swamped and it took about an hour total to be seated and get served food, so that is something to note if you have somewhere to be afterwards. The menu was not that extensive, but I liked that they had a similar amount of options for savory crepes and sweet crepes. Ractiflette: It was a yummy, savory crepe, but was a little more rich and one-sided in depth. The flavors were very similar, which was safe for making it taste good, but also holds it back from being great. I thought the watercress was made well and it helped (along with the crepe & potato) to offset the heavier items in the dish. I liked the crepe color, but the texture didn't stand out to me. The crepe was not crisp nor spongy, just kind of limp and flat. I also didn't find any notable taste in the crepe, but maybe because it was drowned out by the Raclette cheese. I liked the potato and thought it was a good consistency (not too soft and not too raw/crunchy). The dish didn't not come with that much meat (Bündnerfleisch), but the cheese to potato ratio was good. I've never tried Bündnerfleisch before, but looking it up, I thought the meat would be darker since it is a cured beef. What came out almost looked like prosciutto, but less fatty. It was yummy though, and I would've liked more to pair with the whole crepe. Overall, this place was not the best crepes I've had and more on the salty side. However, it is still a nice place for brunch if you want to enjoy a slow morning. It is also cute how the menu featured the backstory/inspiration of the owner. I would also like to try their pear cider and see the crepe stand in action next time. read more
