It was super busy when I visited around 9:45am on a Monday, so you know they're good. I was greeted immediately and placed my order quickly. The girl working the register was super helpful and friendly. I wanted to try the seasonal banana bread cold brew, but I can't have caffeinated drinks so I asked if it could be made decaf. She said she can do it as a decaf latte instead and I agreed. It is SO good! It's sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. You can taste banana and cinnamon, perfectly balanced. I was worried the banana flavor would be fake tasting but it's not, it tastes like real bananas. I also got the Sasquatch sushi because I had to know what it was and it was amazing. It's a pbj with banana, in sushi form! It's such a cool idea and tasted fantastic. My partner was also super entertained by it and he loved it too. I got the Sunbreak breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. Everything I had here today was fantastic! I love this little cafe and will absolutely be back. I already recommended them to two of my friends as well. Go here, you won't regret it!

The quality of their ingredients is good - probably the best I've found in the Eugene/Springfield area. Their vegan cinnamon roll is also good - rich/sweet frosting that balances well with the pastry that isn't dry and is sweet enough that makes you keep going in for the next bite. They have a bright, rustic interior with high ceilings, a variety of indoor/outdoor seating, and surrounded by a few local businesses (spice & tea, antique, plant stores). You know the kind of trip where your legs are tired but your soul's doing just fine. Now here's where things get interesting. I'm sitting in the drive-thru, minding my own business, when the car in front of me decides out of nowhere to throw it in reverse. Not a slow roll. Not a cautious inch. No brake lights, no courtesy honk, no wave... just straight backing up like the laws of common sense took the day off. I had to throw my own car into gear thinking, "Well, this is how it ends... totaled over a cup of coffee." All that just to get six inches closer to the window. Six inches. Unreal. And not even a wave. Nothing. Just pure, unfiltered nonsense. Watch these people at Dutch Brothers because they are dumber than a box of rocks. They are dumber than a second coat of paint. That said credit where it's due the staff handled everything like pros. Friendly, quick, and upbeat like nothing in the world could faze them. Coffee hit the spot, exactly what I needed to shake off the madness. Location is clutch too right off the freeway, easy in and out... assuming nobody decides to back into you for sport. So yeah, five stars for the service, three stars for the drive-thru circus. End result? I'm still coming back... just with one eye on my mirror next time.
