Sooooo good! This is some of the best crawfish I've had in a while. I'm new to the area and we tried it out on a whim. I got the spicy crawfish with kaboom sauce and it was DELICIOUS! It was pretty spicy, how I like it! I got it with potatoes and mushrooms which were also delicious. My fiancé got one of the boiled combos with crab, shrimp and sausage. He loved it all! I also ordered the portobello mushrooms and they were the best I have ever tasted! I should have ordered two full orders, and absolutely will next time! This place was amazing! I didn't know summerwood had a Cajun seafood place. My friend got wings which were delicious. Crispy, so flavorful, and lots of meat! Not those skimpy small wings. I had the pho. Now I've tried LOTS of pho and there's only like 3 in the summerwood area. I'd say this place was the best in the area and comparable to pho in bellaire. Definitely worth a try!! Overall the food was pretty good. Just keep in mind this is Cajun with an Asian flare so there is coleslaw on the poboy and the gumbo doesn't taste like Louisiana gumbo.The garlic edamame was awesome and the fried rice was really good. The crawfish was very tough and hard to get out the shell. It looked and tasted as though it was cooked from a frozen state not fresh as they claimed. Ordered the boudain it was cooked nicely and tasted great. For my main course I ordered the beef combination pho it tasted great. I wish there was an option for extra beef but all in all it was good. Let's start with the crawfish fried rice, I asked for no onions (green and white) as my daughter wouldn't eat it if there were onions and well I don't like them either. Great food! The Kaboom I think that's the name are to die for. The Pho is a must try my 5 and 10 year old loved it. Note to parents if your kids finish the broth it's an additional $2.99 for more.
