This is my second time visiting this spot , the first time the food was amazing , but very small portions , and very pricey . It was over a year and half we went there and I don't remember what exactly we got but i remember it was very pricey at that time . I've been sick so i noticed they have a crawfish pho , so i decided to give it a try since pho literally cures me . It was so bad ... but i kinda understand their point of making it a little Cajun but the broth was literally butter ... I had maybe 4 tails of crawfish , the broth wasn't hot (most places give it to me still very hot) noodles were cold , and it had sausage ? . I wanted to like it but it made feel more sick ... I wanna give the other pho a try maybe it will be better.

    Fried rice with shrimp

This restaurant is my go-to for fried rice with shrimp. They never skimp on the protein and the food is always ready super fast and fresh. I also like their combination fried rice, fried shrimp platter, and chicken wings. I've been a faithful customer since they came to the Summerwood/West Lake Houston area and will continue to patronize.

Me and my husband love this place. It's always dead inside, but a lot of people order takeout. I've tried agonist anything on the menu lol. The potato balls are my favorite appetizer. The combination fried rice has so much flavor and that's my husband's favorite. Try the pho can't go wrong with that either.

    Spicy edamame

I wanted to love this place. Being fairly close to my bfs I was excited. I don't know if it's the pregnancy throwing my taste buds off.. I had edamame spicy this was literally too spicy to consume. And I'm normally a chili head. I also had #2 combo which came with 1 lbs crab legs and shrimp. Don't remember the exact order but it comes with 1 corn, 1 potato, and 1 sausage in Kaboom extra spicy. The flavor was kinda disappointing garlic butter with a mix of there twist of Cajun. Not the typical mix and maybe that's why it didn't seem to be a hit. Plus the snow crab was over cooked. Great cook on snow crab is easy pull on the meat from the shell and it to come out in one whole piece. This did not happen. Also order 50 wings to go and pho. The wings are pretty huge and if I came back it would be for those. And the sick bf enjoyed the pho.

    Undercooked chicken wings

I placed my order of 6 lemon pepper wings and shrimp fried rice via DoorDash. My initial thought was how appetizing everything looked along with the large portion of food. The shrimp in the rice were large and plentiful (roughly 12-15 count). The food didn't come with plasticware, napkins, salt and pepper nor soy sauce which was all needed. It was all extremely bland. The lemon pepper wings were not seasoned and they were undercooked to the point of showing the pink meat at the bone. I would like to give them another try but from this experience, I deem it necessary to order in person so that I'm guaranteed to receive what I'm paying for.

Bathroom 5/5: Average; clean Dining Area 3/5: Plenty of seating areas but not much to it. The tablecloth kept moving and appeared worn out. Customer Service 1/5: To sum up the service I experienced, I was basically figuring everything out as I went along. There was no one at the door despite it being an entire bar area as soon as you walk in. I went straight to the register in the back and they assumed I was ordering to-go until I took a seat. The waiter came by once to drop off the order. I had to return to the register to pay for my food in order to leave. Very awkward experience. Food 1/5: Average boiled seafood. The main concern was it came out warm instead of hot. So either it was sitting there for a while or something worse. I've heard compliments about their fried rice. Price 1/5: $$$ far too expensive for the poor service and food Vibe 1/5: Confusing, tables were wobbly, tablecloths were worn out, the place was empty, the bar area was a ghost town, etc. Overall 12/30: This is my lowest rating yet for a restaurant on this side of Houston.

3lbs of crawfish kaboom spicy, potatoes, corn and two eggs.

As we walked in, we were immediately greeted by Eric and seated. He sat us in a private cozy nook but we asked to move to the booths with tv viewing access. Eric took the time to explain the menu and offered his suggestions. He greeted and checked on everyone. As he spoke to people, he would thank them for coming back and converse as if he was speaking to old friends. The customer service was superb. My husband ordered a michelada with Michelob Ultra. He said it was a few degrees shy of having ice in it, who doesn't love a cold beer! For dinner we ordered the gumbo with sausage, red beans and rice, and the twin lobster rolls. The gumbo had a dark roux. It was decent but the spice level was a bit much for me. After about four bites, my husband took over. He enjoyed it. Next was the red beans and rice with sausage. The flavor was good. My only complaint was the sausage pieces were too big for one bite. Lastly was the twin lobster rolls with Cajun fries. The fries were crispy and I'd compare them to Charlie's. The roll had generous portions of delicious lobster. We chose a hot roll but they do serve it cold if you prefer. The basket is served with a 2 oz helping of melted butter for you to drizzle on your rolls. The flat top rolls were buttery, soft, and grilled to perfection. Overall, we enjoyed them but they were missing just a touch of something, maybe a spice, I can't pinpoint it. I would definitely get them again though! The food was all hot and fresh. I overheard Eric telling another customer they don't have heat lamps and everything is brought out as soon as it comes off the stove. The location is in the center of booming shopping centers. This is a great lunch or dinner spot that welcomes casual family friendly dining. I'm glad we returned, we will be back.

My husband loves this location and has been coming here for quite some time. He will forever get the same items lol Here is our order: *Every Dang Thang Pasta + mushrooms - my husband go-to meal, this pasta is so flavorful and delicious. They do give you a hefty amount and don't skimp out on the meats. 10/10 *Fish Basket - this will now on be my go-to order, i have never had a fish basket taste this good! The fish was so flaky and juicy. It was honestly the best fried fish Ive had in my entire life 100/10 *Mardi Gras Potato - this was really good, it taste just like the every thang pasta, the only downside of this dish was that it came out a bit cold so 8/10 *Shrimp Po-Boy - my husband's friend ordered this and he said it was really good and he really enjoyed it 10/10 *Peach Cobbler - another one of my husbands go-tos, im not the biggest fan of hot fruit but this was really really good and it pairs nicely with the vanilla ice cream 10/10 *Lemon Drop Martinis - these were soooooo good, I've been to so many restaurants where they don't make it right, but here??? They made it with love. It was very much chefs kiss 1000/10 I will say the ambience of this place is a bit loud. They have a life person playing the saxophone, which is nice, but very very loud. Overall: we will be back! 10/10

Friendly service, clean appearance, smells so amazing from the door, sounds of live music fills your soul. This place sets a family, fun, and amazing food tones in the best way. This could easily be a weekly spot for me if it was much closer to my area. My crawfish and shrimp étouffée was amazing. I also took my son a dish home a crawfish sausage pasta, which had the choice of two or three meats. He loved it a lot and down it quickly. My son didn't even heat it up, and I know it was room temp at best. Since we sat there and talked for about 60 minutes and it took 40 to make it back home. It is JUST THAT GOOD, it's AMAZING. I LOOK FORWARD to returning. Reading Rian menu my mouth begin to water!!!! I can't wait to try the boudin, and Cajun baked potato, and loaded boudin. And more

Great food overall!…read more The food here is definitely great--lots of choices and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. You can tell why this place is popular. The service could use a little improvement during busy times, and the ambiance felt a bit crowded, but that's probably because so many people enjoy coming here. This place is a bit far from central Houston and central north Houston, but it's such a great gem! It gets quite busy but they have a number system where you walk in, check in and get a number, and then you get called. It gets pretty busy but the line goes by fast. Parking is also a bit of a hassle as the lot is very small for the amount of people which is a downside. The Chinese food they have is so so, but the seafood is where it's at. Their crab legs are always so fresh and sweet, and rarely salty. We also love their crawfish as it's full of flavor, fresh, and always piping hot. Their sushi selection is decent and also pretty good quality for buffet sushi. The seafood reminds me of Las Vegas buffet quality. Dessert selection is ok. I just go for the ice cream and some fruit and that's pretty much it. Inside it does get pretty hectic and everything is fast paced, but that's good if you want to eat the most you can in such little time! The servers are always attentive and take away empty plates, refill drinks, and are happy to assist with anything you need. All in all, this is a great bang for your buck if you want a good variety of food with amazingly fresh seafood.
