Hello my name is Ashley B. Let's get started with the review! I decided to try this place because I usually see a lot of people dining in or getting food to go when I'm in the area. When I walked in the place , it wreaked of sewage smell but I still dined in because I saw others there. Anyway, I received my food and started eating the shrimp fried rice and it had a nice flavor however the shrimp was bland so I had to add some seasoning to it. Next, I started on the seafood boil and again I had to add some seasoning too add some flavor to the dish. To me the dine in experience was lack luster and noon Existent. Also, I had to walk to the register every time I needed something, which became tiresome after several trips to ask for more condiments, scissors to cut the crab legs and my bottled water. Lastly, I had to ask for a to go bag because I had a lot of food left over. My advice is don't dine in, if you don't have to. This is definitely a to go place. Anyway, chow! read more

Update. Since last time, wanted to step outside my food boundaries once again. Was dissatisfied last time here, but this time there was some improvements. Spicy Lemon Pepper Wings weren't over cooked or dry. Better. I Called in an order. Very simple. Large Shrimp Pho add Andouille Sausage with extra lime and Sriracha. I Had my husband pick up my order on his way home from a long work day. Does Pho sound like Fried Rice??? I called and of course no manager was on duty, the resolution given was basically a go "f" yourself... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! There wasn't an explosion of flavor with any of the dishes we had. All of the food could've been cooked for slightly longer. This is my second time visiting this spot , the first time the food was amazing , but very small portions , and very pricey . It was over a year and half we went there and I don't remember what exactly we got but i remember it was very pricey at that time . I've been sick so i noticed they have a crawfish pho , so i decided to give it a try since pho literally cures me . It was so bad ... but i kinda understand their point of making it a little Cajun but the broth was literally butter ... I had maybe 4 tails of crawfish , the broth wasn't hot (most places give it to me still very hot) noodles were cold , and it had sausage ? . I wanted to like it but it made feel more sick ... I visited Crecia's Kitchen recently around the afternoon I was intrigued to try some chicken wings since images online looked very good. I was greeted and attended by server, Emily. came up very polite, generous, and friendly. my order itself was a peach iced tea, and an order of mango habanero, chicken wings. I was very satisfied with the drink and so with the chicken wings. And as well with my service. Overall, I do think about coming back and trying other stuff from their menu. read more

This restaurant is my go-to for fried rice with shrimp. They never skimp on the protein and the food is always ready super fast and fresh. I also like their combination fried rice, fried shrimp platter, and chicken wings. Walking in I was a little as the place was dead, like disco dead. You pass a small bar area and make your way to counter at the back of the place. At the counter I was greeted by a cheerful and helpful person who saw me to my seat once I stated I'd dine in. Quickly decided on the etouffee with crawfish and also ended up ordering a kids meal catfish The stew came out first the roux is a little lighter than most and less creamy than I'd prefer. There's a bit of heat to it as well, if your your spice level stops at zesty move on. Catfish is good a lot less in terms of spices (more than likely due to it being a kids meal) and sits atop some crispy seasoned frites of which I ate waaay too many of. The place had a few takeout orders on my visit, not sure why it was so sparse with dine in patrons. It's clean and has a home-y. Inviting feel to it. Come try and come try often read more

Me and my husband love this place. It's always dead inside, but a lot of people order takeout. I've tried agonist anything on the menu lol. The potato balls are my favorite appetizer. I wanted to love this place. Being fairly close to my bfs I was excited. I don't know if it's the pregnancy throwing my taste buds off.. I had edamame spicy this was literally too spicy to consume. And I'm normally a chili head. I also had #2 combo which came with 1 lbs crab legs and shrimp. Don't remember the exact order but it comes with 1 corn, 1 potato, and 1 sausage in Kaboom extra spicy. The flavor was kinda disappointing garlic butter with a mix of there twist of Cajun. Not the typical mix and maybe that's why it didn't seem to be a hit. Plus the snow crab was over cooked. Great cook on snow crab is easy pull on the meat from the shell and it to come out in one whole piece. This did not happen. Also order 50 wings to go and pho. I placed my order of 6 lemon pepper wings and shrimp fried rice via DoorDash. My initial thought was how appetizing everything looked along with the large portion of food. The shrimp in the rice were large and plentiful (roughly 12-15 count). The food didn't come with plasticware, napkins, salt and pepper nor soy sauce which was all needed. It was all extremely bland. The lemon pepper wings were not seasoned and they were undercooked to the point of showing the pink meat at the bone. Customer Service 1/5: To sum up the service I experienced, I was basically figuring everything out as I went along. There was no one at the door despite it being an entire bar area as soon as you walk in. I went straight to the register in the back and they assumed I was ordering to-go until I took a seat. The waiter came by once to drop off the order. I had to return to the register to pay for my food in order to leave. Very awkward experience. Food 1/5: Average boiled seafood. The main concern was it came out warm instead of hot. So either it was sitting there for a while or something worse. I've heard compliments about their fried rice. I really wish I could give no stars but the young lady & gentleman where sweet! Let's get into my no star rating I have never taste salty crab or salty mussels before. I am a crab connoisseur and normally leave nothing but shells today I left with an unwanted bag of crabs because I couldn't finish it because of all the salt. I brought it to the staff attention and the cashier let the owner know who doesn't speak English and he did not understand ! Between 3 and 4 stars for this place but closer to 3. I ordered online, 3 items: Hush Puppies, Stuffed Potato Balls and Gumbo. When I got there, the food was ready as it should have been. The guy at the counter however said it takes another 15 minutes.. So I told him it's supposed be ready and tada, it was all ready.. The kid forgot to add my drink to the order but at least I remembered. The food itself was decent. I really liked the stuffed potato balls (would have been even better with some dip), the hush puppies were a little on the dry side, but not too bad. The Gumbo was aight too - I'm not an expert on it but it seemed a little too soupy for me at least. Nice flavor though, has a nice kick to it! King Crab was very dry and mushy, sauce was very salty as I got to the bottom of the bowl. I would give this place a negative 2 stars if I could.... but yelp made me put at least 1... He got fried chicken with barbecue sauce drizzled on top... when we asked if they could be tossed in the sauce like wings normally ate.... she took them too the back and brought them out and basically the cook poured more bbq sauce on them.... I ordered a beef combo pho that had three different beef that were thinly cut just perfect for every spoonful bite of soup, noodles, and meat. We wanted to come here because they have such a variety of things that everyone could eat. Walking in there were about 3-4 other tables and by the time we left maybe 6-7 including us. We also noticed there were a lot of to go orders being picked up. Not sure if having 2 people working the front is normal, but the service was on the slow side. Again having a lot of Togo orders could have affected it, but the flow from ordering to getting the food didn't seem efficient. Possibly another person helping in the front could help, again I don't know if 2 if the norm. I did see that they had a sign from a few years ago saying they were a good crawfish spot. Next time I wouldn't mind trying those. Again they have a lot you can choose from, and maybe we didn't order the right foods. My mom got the shrimp with garlic and butter sauce in the mild, because she can't do spicy. Again I know it's a crawfish/crab place so I can see the sauce working for those, but on her shrimp it was still spicy even though we got the lowest "spicy" rating they had. Maybe it was a mixup in the back. My husband got the spicy ranch wings and they were a decent size. I ordered the pick 2 combo of fried shrimp and catfish and fries. The shrimp was a good size and tasted good fried, your typical fried shrimp. The catfish was okay and they were good sizes. We also got the Cajun fries, but it seemed that it was just a sprinkled seasoning on top and wasn't on all of the fries. We got hush puppies that were really good and the sauce they give you to dip them in was amazing!! Inside was nice and they had a lot of different seating. For dessert we tried the funnel cake fries and those were amazing!! Tasted really good. Crecia's was pretty consistent over the past year until I picked up a to-go order for my family on a busy work night around 7PM on 6/9/2021. I ordered 3 orders of shrimp fried rice and 12 lemon pepper wings. We instantly noticed the wings looked old, wilted/dehydrated and very small. I volunteered to taste one wing, one bite. It was sour so I threw all 12 wings away. The shrimp was rubbery and the rice was hard, that too went in the garbage...basically $50 in the trash. I called Crecia's for 2 days to discuss this and for a refund. Every other time I'd call I'd get a busy signal, guessing they have no call waiting. When I finally got in touch with staff they told me the manager, Gina, was there occasionally and sometimes randomly so I asked them to let her know a customer had a bad order and would like a call back. I found no sense in visiting the restaurant for a refund prior to speaking to the manager because the staff was not confident in customer problem resolution without management. I did not hear from Gina until 6/11/2021 around 6PM only because I called and she just happened to be there, which gave me the impression that she had no intention to call me knowing I was expecting her call. I simply told Gina our food was bad and was thrown out and I requested a refund. I told her I had my receipt and would be in the restaurant within 15 minutes for my refund. Gina only offered to remake our food because she had "no proof" that my food was bad because I had no longer had the food with me. She did not acknowledge I kept my receipt and did not apologize for anything not even the fact that I had been calling to speak to her for 2 days. I declined her offer, after the experience and run around I was getting I did not want more food from her restaurant. I demanded a refund. When she was persistent, I asked where can I see their refund policy. Again, she declined and rambled some inaudible nonsense. I told her she was not being reasonable, expecting me to keep bad food in my refrigerator for 2 days OR more given I was not sure I would even speak to her. Gina hung up on me. When I called back Gina threatened to call the police for harassment. I will NEVER return. read more
