Family needed a quick dinner option. And this place was a great pick!!! Fresh, hot and full of flavor. I love the simple yet many options to choose from.Customer service was kind, and patient. Plenty of space to enjoy the inside lobby area, clean and spacious. I will be sure to. come again.

I've been coming to Bangkok Social since opening and I've tasted almost all of their dishes. The quality of food has always been consistently good, the prices are reasonable and the service is great. Visual is everything when enjoying your food and I appreciate the bright and modern interior. The restaurant hours are everyday 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM, a great option for late night dinner take-out. I came in at 9:40PM for my to-go order and devoured everything as soon as I made it home. I highly recommend Pad See Ewe, Panang Curry, House Special Chicken, Tom Kha Soup, and Pineapple Fried Rice. You won't be disappointed in the portion, quality and freshness of the food. Don't skip out on the Thai Tea, it is of the must-have to pair with your meal.

Pas Pad See Ewe

Nice location! Service was fast and food was great! We will definitely be back again!

Mango Sticky Rice (Seasonal)
Brisa M.

I loved it here! The food is very delicious and comes in really big portions! You get your money's worth. My favorite is the mango sticky rice which is why I got Mu Ping to make space since it's usually an appetizer. The servers are super attentive and nice as well. The decor is very calming and beautiful. I will definitely come back especially for the mango sticky rice!!!

Yellow curry lunch special
Lizet M.

I came in and ordered to go. I got the lunch special yellow curry and everything was delicious! With the lunch special you get the main entree, your choice of rice, an egg roll and a small side salad. They have spice level 1-5, I like my stuff spicy but since it was my first time trying, I did level 3. Not spicy for me at all, might go for level 5 next time? I also got a Thai coffee to try and it was good, definitely not the star of the show. Total for everything was around $16 and my order was given to me in less than 10 minutes. I'm excited to try something else next time!

Veggie eggrolls

I thought I'd not find another place that could fill my void for Thai food, but I found this place and lemme tell you how delicious it is. Not just that the effort into making sure everything comes out perfection is amazing! If youre in the northeast side of town, I recommend coming out here. The staff is super nice, Ploy was super friendly and gave some really great suggestions! The restaurant has been open for some time but it still feels brand spankin new! You can tell the effort put into maintaining it. Super modern feel. High recommend!

Cheese rolls

Freaking good. Spice levels are a bit spicier than expected. Perfect parking and clean & inviting atmosphere. Service was top notch. Pad Thai, cheese rolls and mint lemonade well worth it. The veggie rolls were okay. They seemed a little bland after eating the amazing cheese rolls, though. For a little constructive criticism: Before leaving, visited the ladies room. After such an amazing dining experience, I was a little surprised to see restroom seemed to have been slightly neglected with no soap left. It wasn't bad, but it just did not align with dining room, food & service. Customers judge restaurants based on restroom upkeep as it's typically a reflection on how well kitchen is kept up. This is important for customer experience and repeat business.

Excellent Thai food. Ordered a Thai staple, Pad Thai with medium heat and it was delicious. The crab rice was also delicious. Fiat warning the medium heat will be too spicy for some but perfect to me. There was a kick. The service was great and I ordered to go. Momo, was friendly and extremely polite. While waiting on my to go order I watched how helpful and attentive he was to the other customers. As for the ambiance, it's modern and simple restaurant. Loved the modern look especially the wall art. I'm happy to have a new option available in the area that taste good.

We came after lunch rush! Must try! Loved every bite.

This place is now my new go to place. The food was amazing! Fresh and tasty. Remember that the spicy level is spicy! Pick 3 to be safe! Love love!

Pad Thai House Special Chicken

Fried Chicken Wings HUGE and super flavorful
Kimberly M.

First visit, my husband and I on a Saturday afternoon. The place was empty except for 1 large family table. The young woman who greeted us as we walked in was also out server. We asked her for recommendations on what to order and at what heat level. We like heat, but not so hot that you can appreciate the flavors. We ordered the chicken wings for an app. HUGE They serve the whole wing noy just pieces like most places. They took about 10 minutes to fry fresh but this made them come out after our entrees, so not really an appetizer. Entrees: house special chicken and basil fried rice with shrimp. The chicken didn't sound too exciting for me and it looks just like general tso's so it didn't look very appealing to me either, but I tried a bite of my husband's and I was very pleasantly surprised! The fried rice was some of the best I've had in a long time. Stick, sweet, salty. The shrimp that was added was a bit bland by itself and could have had more flavor, but went well with the rice. Love this place. Will come back! Next time, wings for dinner!

When I walked in the place , it wreaked of sewage smell but I still dined in because I saw others there. Anyway, I received my food and started eating the shrimp fried rice and it had a nice flavor however the shrimp was bland so I had to add some seasoning to it. Next, I started on the seafood boil and again I had to add some seasoning too add some flavor to the dish. To me the dine in experience was lack luster and noon Existent. Also, I had to walk to the register every time I needed something, which became tiresome after several trips to ask for more condiments, scissors to cut the crab legs and my bottled water. Lastly, I had to ask for a to go bag because I had a lot of food left over. My advice is don't dine in, if you don't have to. This is definitely a to go place. Anyway, chow!

If I would have rated this place my first time here two years ago, it would have barely received…read moretwo stars. This time was a completely different experience. As we walked in, we were immediately greeted by Eric and seated. He sat us in a private cozy nook but we asked to move to the booths with tv viewing access. Eric took the time to explain the menu and offered his suggestions. He greeted and checked on everyone. As he spoke to people, he would thank them for coming back and converse as if he was speaking to old friends. The customer service was superb. My husband ordered a michelada with Michelob Ultra. He said it was a few degrees shy of having ice in it, who doesn't love a cold beer! For dinner we ordered the gumbo with sausage, red beans and rice, and the twin lobster rolls. The gumbo had a dark roux. It was decent but the spice level was a bit much for me. After about four bites, my husband took over. He enjoyed it. Next was the red beans and rice with sausage. The flavor was good. My only complaint was the sausage pieces were too big for one bite. Lastly was the twin lobster rolls with Cajun fries. The fries were crispy and I'd compare them to Charlie's. The roll had generous portions of delicious lobster. We chose a hot roll but they do serve it cold if you prefer. The basket is served with a 2 oz helping of melted butter for you to drizzle on your rolls. The flat top rolls were buttery, soft, and grilled to perfection. Overall, we enjoyed them but they were missing just a touch of something, maybe a spice, I can't pinpoint it. I would definitely get them again though! The food was all hot and fresh. I overheard Eric telling another customer they don't have heat lamps and everything is brought out as soon as it comes off the stove. The location is in the center of booming shopping centers. This is a great lunch or dinner spot that welcomes casual family friendly dining. I'm glad we returned, we will be back.

I just kept seeing the staff behind the bar and thinking Oh here it comes and it never did. Drink tbh was not the best. Food also took a while to come out. Idk if it's because we went around lunch but again the place was empty. I got softshell crabs I should've read it a bit more but it definitely needs a piece of bread.Basket came with fries and they were not that good.Everything was definitely lacking seasoning. Friend got red beans and rice with his Catfish basket. Idk if they're meant to taste like that but to me they(beans)had a burnt taste to them. He also mentioned how he only got 1 piece of catfish. Usually baskets come with 2 or more and was surprised since my basket did come with 2 crabs. IDK it's one of those places you want to like since the area doesn't have many seafood places but won't be coming back.

I've been here twice, and to be completely honest, I didn't really like it the 1st time around. Now…read morethe second time completely changed my opinion of this place! My husband loves this location and has been coming here for quite some time. He will forever get the same items lol Here is our order: *Every Dang Thang Pasta + mushrooms - my husband go-to meal, this pasta is so flavorful and delicious. They do give you a hefty amount and don't skimp out on the meats. 10/10 *Fish Basket - this will now on be my go-to order, i have never had a fish basket taste this good! The fish was so flaky and juicy. It was honestly the best fried fish Ive had in my entire life 100/10 *Mardi Gras Potato - this was really good, it taste just like the every thang pasta, the only downside of this dish was that it came out a bit cold so 8/10 *Shrimp Po-Boy - my husband's friend ordered this and he said it was really good and he really enjoyed it 10/10 *Peach Cobbler - another one of my husbands go-tos, im not the biggest fan of hot fruit but this was really really good and it pairs nicely with the vanilla ice cream 10/10 *Lemon Drop Martinis - these were soooooo good, I've been to so many restaurants where they don't make it right, but here??? They made it with love. It was very much chefs kiss 1000/10 I will say the ambience of this place is a bit loud. They have a life person playing the saxophone, which is nice, but very very loud. Overall: we will be back! 10/10

Friendly service, clean appearance, smells so amazing from the door, sounds of live music fills your soul. This place sets a family, fun, and amazing food tones in the best way. This could easily be a weekly spot for me if it was much closer to my area. My crawfish and shrimp étouffée was amazing. I also took my son a dish home a crawfish sausage pasta, which had the choice of two or three meats. He loved it a lot and down it quickly. My son didn't even heat it up, and I know it was room temp at best. Since we sat there and talked for about 60 minutes and it took 40 to make it back home. It is JUST THAT GOOD, it's AMAZING. I LOOK FORWARD to returning. Reading Rian menu my mouth begin to water!!!! I can't wait to try the boudin, and Cajun baked potato, and loaded boudin. And more

Great food overall!…read more The food here is definitely great--lots of choices and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. You can tell why this place is popular. The service could use a little improvement during busy times, and the ambiance felt a bit crowded, but that's probably because so many people enjoy coming here. This place is a bit far from central Houston and central north Houston, but it's such a great gem! It gets quite busy but they have a number system where you walk in, check in and get a number, and then you get called. It gets pretty busy but the line goes by fast. Parking is also a bit of a hassle as the lot is very small for the amount of people which is a downside. The Chinese food they have is so so, but the seafood is where it's at. Their crab legs are always so fresh and sweet, and rarely salty. We also love their crawfish as it's full of flavor, fresh, and always piping hot. Their sushi selection is decent and also pretty good quality for buffet sushi. The seafood reminds me of Las Vegas buffet quality. Dessert selection is ok. I just go for the ice cream and some fruit and that's pretty much it. Inside it does get pretty hectic and everything is fast paced, but that's good if you want to eat the most you can in such little time! The servers are always attentive and take away empty plates, refill drinks, and are happy to assist with anything you need. All in all, this is a great bang for your buck if you want a good variety of food with amazingly fresh seafood.
