Food is really good. I am not saying it's the best but dang good especially considering the wide range offered and small hole in the wall location. I think they could easily expand their business successfully with a good website and delivery. Recently had to raise prices a little bit, but who can blame them with the cost increase of everything in the last 1 1/2 years. Still worth it. I am attaching the menu so you can see what is offered. This place is the definition of a hidden gem! I discovered this place on google and decided to give it a try. When I go there my first impression was it looked like any other Chinese restaurant nothing out of the ordinary. I was greeted by a VERY handsome young man and he told me he was the son of the owner. His name was Justin and he was very helpful since I didn't know what to order. I end up ordering the General Chicken with fried rice. Since I was the only customer there after he took my order he went to the back and help the cooks. After a few minutes he came back with my food and I sat down for my first bite. HOLY SHIT! The first bite of the chicken literally exploded in my mouth and turned my world upside down! It was smothered with the correct amount of sauce. I swear it had the best ratio of sweetness and saltiness. The crust of the is perfectly crispy every bite you take and yet the chicken inside is so moist! The fried rice is so well seasoned, not too wet or too dry. Every bite I take I feel as the rice is kissing my tongue. Eat here made me feel as if I were in a world where there is no hate or racism. Great place to get quality food. It does have a hole in the wall feel but I think it adds to their overall appeal. The sweet and spicy general chicken is awesome, it literally never disappoints. Triple delight, beef lomein (ask to make it spicy), mandarin chicken, shrimp rolls, wings, and cheese puffs are my go to. Parking is usually a little congested because there's a washeteria right next door and other things there's always 1 panhandler sitting on the ground but they're not aggressive. When I went to this place I thought the food wasn't gonna be fresh I honestly thought I was gonna taste dog or rip my chicken open to some mystery meat because the place is a hole in the wall mom & pop shop but it was Soo fresh !!! It has such a homey feeling that brings a level of comfort that is indescribable. I think everyone must be reviewing this place on the price or the amount of food. Or they just don't know what good chinese food is. Because it is not the best quality ingredients or tasting chinese food. I ordered sesame chicken and fried rice. There was a lot of food and it was hot, but the chicken was tough and the flavor was kind of bland for both the chicken and the rice. It was definitely not a 4.5 star place. read more

So I've lived in this area for two years and just had Captain Al's two weeks or so ago. Since then, I've been there 4-5 times! This place is a hidden gem. There aren't a lot of good places in this area to eat, and I'm so glad I found it. The guys are so humble and polite. I've never had a wrong order or food that is gross.
