We obtained multiple bids and selected this company due to Reyes's professionalism, knowledge and being very detailed. Of all the bids, Reyes was the only one to provide a detailed quote with line items and their associated cost. The other bids, some where a bit lower, provided no details just a lump some for one line item. These type of quotes will usually end uo costing more because it is easy for the contractor to say, it is not included or create tension because disagreements due to the lack of detail. The tile work itself was great, clean and great quality. Julio the installer was very professional and patient as we tended to ask a lot of questions along the process. On multiple occassions he asked if this is the way we wanted things done before he actually set the tile :-) There is nothing more frustrating then someone doing work without asking how you want it, all to have a customer be unhappy and having to do it again. Julio is also very experienced in his work so he was able to provide great suggestions.

Miguel's two-man crew (Angel and Manuel) worked incredibly hard, putting in long days (roughly 9am-8pm) over 3 days to get everything done. The finished floor looks great, and the installation quality was excellent -- clean lines, tight seams, and they clearly took care with the details, including the stairs. The one area for improvement was scheduling at the start of the project. After our special-order floor materials arrived, it took several days of back-and-forth to actually get a firm installation date on the calendar, and there was a bit of uncertainty about timing along the way. Once the crew was on-site, though, communication and work quality were great. Would recommend Top Notch for their installation quality -- just build in some flexibility on the front-end scheduling.

It's none of those and just like you I wanted to fix up my house with an improvement to my kitchen with some random picture I found on IG. I contacted several people; one company from Angie gave me some ridiculous $8k-$10k estimate based on a picture I sent (no measuring or on-site job walk). The other was Falcone who gave me an appointment time and never showed up. It got frustrating but I kept at it and saw all these reviews for Jayrock Tile. Jason from Jayrock Tile showed up early and I showed him my IG photo telling him, "I really want this". He helped me so much with educating me on what I now call "Tile 101". I learned a great deal, and I made a few changes with the new knowledge he helped me with. His crew arrived early and I already knew it was the beginning of what turned out to be the best decision I've made for my home improvement. The Jayrock Tile crew walked in, they set up outside and just began what looked like a focused nonstop task of knocking out my kitchen. I walked by to peak each time, and the two-man crew were just moving! In the few seconds I saw them go from left to right then inside & out. I know nothing of tile work, but I can tell you that they didn't skip a beat and were making progress each time I looked in to see how it was looking. I was rather impressed at their progress and speed. I heard the saw constantly cutting away at the tile and never realized how much was required to make each piece fit. I knew the picture I had showed a much larger backsplash and kept thinking "did I make a mistake", "will it even look the same"... After they finished, I walked in and saw my kitchen. It was beyond what I expected, and I couldn't stop thanking his crew. It's wild that I saw a picture, asked if it could be done and now, I have that same design in my house too! Sadly, I see other reviews here about "horrible customer service" and I wasn't there so I don't know why that encounter ended up that way? What I can tell you about my experience is that Jason is a super cool dude that's down to earth. He helped me with what I wanted and gave me so much information to make what I wanted look amazing. His crew which sadly I never got their names because they were just "Hi" and straight to work!! Those two guys were awesome!!! I am beyond happy with how everything turned out! I've heard of some companies where not everything turns out as great. I can tell you that the quotation was perfect and within my budget. The crew was amazing, they didn't break anything, they were professional (I have toddlers), and they did the most amazing level of work in my home. He put the covers back on and put silicone around the covers thinking I wouldn't find out. Eduardo is dishonest and he doesn't care about safety. He did not care about me or my wife. He knew it was going to be a tough job so he chose to put me and my wife at risk and get paid for something he didn't do. If he has the chance to cheat you, he will.
