HM Flooring is very reasonably priced and they do great work. I love that they have so many options and are very upfront about pricing and quality. I have been here twice in the last few years and they have taken care of me. I did not have a great budget my first time here and they were honest about the carpet in my price range and made recommendations based on my budget at the time. A few years done the line I'm replacing the carpet I originally purchased with a better budget lol and I'm super happy with the overall results. The timeline was as promised and the installation was seamless. The installer was very friendly, professional and clean and did a fantastic job. They get busy at times in the office but Vanessa is awesome!!! She follows up with you if needed and makes sure you are getting exactly what you want. Found HM on Yelp and decided to send them a message to request a quote. They called me and Claudia came by to do an estimate on a room we wanted to put laminate flooring in. She gave me a quote on the spot after measuring all the dimensions. She also brought some choices for flooring based on what i described we wanted. Quoted price was hundreds cheaper than other estimates. Called her later that afternoon to move forward with installation. When our flooring came in a gentleman came by, smashed up old tile, finished the room in a day, and made sure everything was perfect and clean before he left. There were even parts that he ended up changing because he wasnt happy with how it looked. Great work, will definitely be calling them when we upgrade the rest of the house. read more

This company was working with Belor . Tried to make me take 13x13 travertine flooring when current floor was 18x18. Then blamed me because I turned it down. I wouldn't let them floor a dog house. read more

Very unreliable. I was told the installer would be arriving between 2:30-3. At 3:40 I called the office to ask what was going and why the installer wasn't here. I was told he was working in the OC but was on his way. They gave me an ETA of 5:30 it is now 6:30 pm and have not heard from anyone from the office nor the installer. This is very unprofessional. I had to rearrange my schedule to accommodate yours for you not the show or even call. This is unacceptable and very disappointing. read more

Went in gave them some rough dimensions to older guy gave me a good price. So I wanted to move forward and have them come to home to measure themselves to make sure I had everything covered and exact cost. They sent one of their guys to measure. I was told wait a day and I'll be emailed quote, didn't hear from them so called a week later. I was told they would call me back. They didn't. So I call back again following day and they couldn't find my information and would get a call back when they found it. Well I get a call back and they tell me they can't find it and wanted to go back to the house and remeasure. This is unprofessional and ridiculous that they didn't even bother to take my potential business serious to even file my information properly. Even for the original good price I got it's not worth hiring them. Especially if they can't even do quotes right. Imagine how bad the work will look. Sometimes it worth it to spend the extra money for quality work. Definitely not worth my time for a second round of measurements. read more

The office administrator, was very polite and informative, once the estimator came out to measure and provide the estimate, all turned a complete 180° from the office admin, the estimator upon submitting our proposal was two days later than stated, only sent two prices by text with out any detailes/explanation about the two quotes, once we called to discuss he was short, and still stated he would call us back with a install date, which never happened, we still felt not to give up based on the other good reviews, once estimator answered he stated crew had injuries and it was out of his control and did not know when they could install, but would call by end of the day after he moved the schedule around, we have yet to hear back with any updates. read more

Better late than never, had my flooring done in September of 2017 and I still haven't forgot about the wonderful experience I had starting from top: Oscar, their CEO from the start who answered any questions in timely manner and made sure I got the best price promised and beat all other quotes I received. Vanessa - great communication and customer service! There was a misunderstanding in the beginning so she took the initiative and called me to take care of things and if it wasn't for her, I probably would have moved on, I'm so glad I did not. Claudia - she is not just the best woman in her field but definitely one of the best! Smart and polite, she does not "sell" which most I encountered seemed to do when I received their quotes but rather very informative and straightforward. It was definitely a pleasant experience working with her. She literally was the only one who measured every single feet while the others either only took my word, eye-balled it or half and half. She took her time, answered all our questions and responded to my calls and texts promptly. Martin (and partner) -- work was fabulous as you could see in the pictures, he delivered in his completion date promise. They were always on time and always worked their tail off. You'll only see them not doing work during their lunch break, Martin is just a hustler and hardworking. I had a very minor issue in my bathroom that turned out NOT to be their fault but Martin came back right away the next day and fixed it himself, no questions asked. They cleaned up well and until today, I don't have any issues. I will definitely recommend and hire HM Flooring for my next flooring project (stairs and 2nd floor). Sorry for the late review, got busy with moving and baby who was born a week after floors were installed but as promised, this is my honest review. read more

I am very happy with the Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring and 5" baseboards installed by HM Flooring. Every step of the process was great. From sales to installation. We had the entire downstairs done so it was a big job. It took five days. The workers were here about 10 hours each day and did great work. They were nice and professional. We love the carpet and the linoleum we picked. Thanks to Fernando and his partner did a very neat and meticulous job. I really felt at ease knowing they were doing their best. After a long battle to get our carpet and linoleum put in with HM Carpets. On September the 23rd I went and put 400.00 deposit because Max said if I came in before 3pm he would be able to order the carpet and linoleum and it would be ready to install for Monday. Well we had to have everything removed by Sunday for Monday's job. This was for my elderly parents house. We had to move dr appointments around and it was set. Monday comes and I called my mother at 9:30 am and she tells me nobody had shown up. I called Max and he tells me he'll get back to me. Nothing. Waiting waiting nothing. He text me he had the job set for Wednesday.... hmmm no you said MONDAY that's why I drove to your store and gave you a 400.00 deposit. Okay, Wednesday it is. Had to cancel and reschedule dr appointments . Wednesday comes and I called my mother again from work and she's upset she said nobody showed up again ! I called Max and he text me to only Text him. This is no joke. I text him and he doesn't respond. So I called HM Carpets and had the pleasure of speaking to Vanessa. Boy was I upset . I told her the whole situation and she tells me she'll get back to me and she sure did. She sent Fernando and his partner Thursday and Friday to get the job done. It was a disaster trying to get my dad dialysis appointments situated and with no kitchen for 5 days till Friday was hell . We got a 100.00 discount. For the wait. Thank you Vanessa. We had 2 rooms of carpeting laid in Big Bear, Ca. I had went to the location to look at what they had. Excellent service, selection was great and the prices were also very good. We went somewhere else to compare (very close to this location ) it seemed us the customer were a bother to them. After trying to get someone to help us (they would come back for a minute then leave again) we waited about 45 minutes and left. We returned to HM Flooring. And couldn't have been more pleased with the price, selection and the finished laid carpet, but most of all the great service. I absolutely, 110% recommend HM flooring. Their show room is small but I was able to take home as many samples and I needed with no deposit. They came out to my house immediately and was able to give me a quote right in my home with no measurement fee. They were hundreds of dollars cheaper than Home Depot or Lowes for the EXACT same carpet. They had it in stock and was able to install the next week. Very professional and my house looks AMAZING!!! It was so inexpensive I redid the linoleum flooring in my guest house as well. Beautiful, I can't say enough good things about this company.
