After seeing her pics, I knew I had to come down to Crazy Shirts to buy those shirts. Lol! I have been a long time fan of Crazy Shirts, because when I was kid in college, my sister actually worked for Crazy Shirts and she would get me these unreal DEALAGES for employees back-in-da-dayz. I'm talkin' like dirt cheap ($3 bucks and some change) in those dayz, and you really can't go wrong with the top notch quality of their t-shirts. Although Rick Ralston no longer owns Crazy Shirts anymore (he sold the business in 2001 to - Big Dog Holdings), his legacy lives on with the high quality materials, unique dyes used to colorized the t-shirts, and of course the funny & cool designs! Crazy prices... You'd never know from it's store front as the sign just reads "Crazy Shirts" at this Ward Village location that's across from South Shore Market which is easy visible from Auahi Street offers lots of parking at the structure in the back making it a great place to shop for a bargain. Yes there's a huge sign in the window "50% off the entire store" on the window though many shops to posts sign to gain your attention but this deal is amazing as is available through November 24th 2024 and as I remember years ago how they found their niche of creating "dyed" colored shirts so I was curious of what they have and browsed around to be just amazed of the variety types they carried. Hemp dyed, Crater dyed, Coconut dyed, Beer dyed, Kona Coffee dyed, Cinnamon dyed, Fig dyed, Wintergreen dyed, Pineapple dyed, Paradise Red dyed, Candy Apple Red Dyed though I didn't see any Chocolate dyed a shirt I had in the past was sad. Loved this very organized shop as shirts are racked by sizes with women are on the right and mens on the left and some larger sized next to the womens the staff here is just a delight so nice and friendly and as I found a cute Adopt-A-Dog Pineapple dyed and at this current deal it was total $6.59 including tax. Black Friday morning. I heard they opened at 6 am. Who knew whole store was 5.95 then following day 7.95. The line to checkout was long and slow. People in front had boxes filled and hand trucks and carts. One person had two filled boxes a filled cart and even carried a small dog. One had to look harder for smaller sizes. What a deal if the flaws don't bother you. Must remember to come earlier next year. read more

What great deals on flawed or discontinued items. Some flaws are so negligible-and the quality of the material remain unflawed, whether pima cotton or rugged cottons. Customer service is awesome, they even have a digital interpreter (witnessed it being used in Japanese). Enjoy the bargains! I got two shirts, my friend's young adults got two shorts and two pants each. Sorry, the only Medium sized anything was a shirt, but that one had a nice flaw. This is what I was looking for from Waikiki! Crazy Shirts are made so well and are classic fit for us guys that are not skinny. For women, there are beautifully designed shirts and dresses and some kids as well. There were a small amount of men's shirts and they don't make tank tops any more, so no gun shows any more! My family and I have been Crazy Shirts fans for over 30 years and finding this outlet was such a pleasure and remarkably well stocked. Crazy for Crazy Shirts! Even though they're based in Hawaii, we've been to Crazy's in San Diego, CA, Las Vegas, NV and Vail, CO, but we've never seen a sale outlet before! For a Crazy Shirt store, this one is pretty big. It's located in Ward Center and even though they have an Ala Moana Blvd address, their actual storefront entrance is on Auahi St between Ginza Sushi and Maile's Thai restaurant. If you own a Crazy Shirt, you probably paid $30-$40 for it. It is a high quality shirt with awesome unique designs and worth every penny. I have shirts from over 30 years ago that I still wear. Their designs are sold for a limited time and follow themes. Once the season is over, they are retired until next year's new ones come out. There are recurring themes, like the B. Kliban Cat, their own Sharka character, but most designs are pure Hawaiian predominated by sand, sun & surfing lifestyles. But if you come to this outlet, be ready to pay 30%-70% off of regular prices for recently retired designs remaining in stock. You might not find the exact design in the size you want but there are plenty to choose from and certainly one that you'll like. Some are also factory seconds with minor flaws in printing or dyeing marked by a sticker, but some are hard to tell from a perfect shirt. For everyday wearing, bounce around the house or down to the beach, these are perfect. I got the VW van piled high with surfboards shirt for $10.95 vs $32 in the regular store and there was just a smudge on the surfboard printing that I didn't even notice. I ended up buying a 1/2 dozen shirts. Come in and shop until you drop! No worries though. You can pile your selections up at the register while you go looking for more shirts! read more

Whenever we get to Oahu we try to make a stop here to replenish our tshirts and get gift shirts as we have gotten our friends and family hooked on them. Why we like their shirts, they are a little heavier than regular tshirts..they wash well and dry almost wrinkle free...they dont shrink up. The outlet does sell closeouts, off season and flawed shirts so you do need to look them over (typically have a sticker pointing out flaw) Prices are better than their regular stores and online catalog sales so we fibd it a win win. In the past, I had another girlfriend from Northern California who liked to shop at this outlet, too. It's located at Ward Center. The front door is on Auahi Street. Free parking may be found at Ward Center and across the street at the Ward Village parking structure. The Crazy Shirts business started in 1964. This local company has survived the ups and downs of our economy because the shirts are made from comfortable cotton and have various designs and colors. There are cute cartoons, funny sayings, beautiful prints, etc. My friend got some bargains when she searched through the slightly flawed items. For example, the ink had bled a bit and instead of a sharp line, there was a tiny smudge. Gee... No one is going to look that close! However, Crazy Shirts has a high quality standard, so, I can understand. The discount on a small imperfection is greatly appreciated! We brought our own bags to save on purchasing one of their bags. My friend also had some kind of membership discount, so, I gave her the credit from the two shirts that I bought... LOL! It was nice to see her happy with the gifts she got for her family! Me & my mom went out to find a gift for my dad Birthday coming up & he loves yhe crazy shirts clothing. We went to the pearlridge location because thats where we always go. We found the perfect shirt that he doesnt have BUT they didnt have his size. The lady st the store helped us locate another store that had his size. It was either Ward or Ala moana We went to the ward locate. PARKING: Parking if free & they also have 20 min on the first floor. The store is located in the front side. Dont walk all the way around like us. The bottom floor has access to the front. SERVICE: What i always say in my reviews is that that first thing is the greeting & service. The worker that day his name was IAN. Seriously the friendliest & helpful guy. I love that he makes me feel welcome to shop. Usually other store they dont even greet you or have an attitude. He explains to us the deals going on & guys go right now. Most of the store is additional 50% off ex except the shirts on the register & behind the register is regular price. They do also offer MILITARY DISCOUNT. I love that this store mostly get the colors of the shirts theough coconut, kona coffee, money, lava rocks,pineapple. Pretty much anything. I really liked that any blemish or printing error are noted on the shirts and most of them were barely noticeable. There were also a good selection of previous years' designs to give you a lot of options. And yes, you can get them at much better price than retail, these shirts are not cheap to begin with so they're still fairly expensive for what they are, in my opinion. I did go in the summer so it seemed like long sleeved shirts and pants were discounted further. The staff there were very helpful and made sure to point out the section with the best deals while we looked around but they weren't pushy or salesy. I have been ordering Crazy Shirts for years and their products ae the best, especially the Tee Shirts. The only problem I have with the shirts is after a couple of washes the lettering and printing logos seem to fade away. They are still the best shirt out there and yes, they are expensive, but they last a lifetime if you take care of them. I will continue to order until I have a problem, but after 20 years ordering I have never had a problem with deliver or a bad product. read more

Crazy Shirts is known for their signature character Kliban Cat. For some reason, that cat looks like something that you would find in a Japanese cartoon. Honestly, I haven't shop here in a long time. They sell good quality shirts but the price has gone up. $33 for a shirt is kind of high. They used to sell more variety of shirts before. I got what I wanted but I wish they had more selection. I was sad to see so little reviews about this place. Customer service was excellent as I recall. They do a cute gift wrap at no cost. That's always a nice perk. read more

What's not to love getting a $33 tee shirt for $9.99. Stock varies and it's up to you to dig through the neat piles to find what you want. Shirts sorted by size but that's it. Want long sleeve? Some are hung up but mostly folded hence the need to dig. All have errors ranging from minor to major. Non effect wear. Best bet is to look through the catalog first to know what may be here. First quality also available on site to. Host/ sales clerk was a delight and helpful. Truly one of the bargains on the island. read more

Over the years Crazy shirts came out with new products and I think it's great. And so cost of tshirts too have gone up! There is no recent review of this crazy shirt, so I'm writing one in reference to the Aloha with Houston promotion and how this store handled the "extras" that were being delivered on sept. 7, 2017. It was earlier in the week that we stopped by in the store inquiring about these shirts and was told that they have a very limited quantity arriving on sept. 7. They were taking name and numbers, but were not holding any shirts as these shirts were on a first come, first serve basis. BUT, they would call to let us know that the shirts are in. The cashier that day made it clear to us that once again these shirts are limited, they are arriving on sept. 7, between 200-230pm. On the morning of Sept. 7, I received a phone call from Crazy Shirts reminding me that the shirts are arriving today between 200-230pm. So, I go to the store before 230pm and the shirts have not arrived. Been told that the FedEx guy is doing his deliveries in the mall. I think the staff at Crazy shirts should have suggested customers to show up at a later time so that we wouldn't wait and they could organize the shirts and boxes, because at 300pm, the shirts had still not arrived. I ended up leaving because I couldn't wait, but they need to have a better plan next time. To say that I made a statement and I know there was a customer in the store that was probably saying something about me to the store personnel. This was not a very good experience for me! I haven't been to Crazy Shirts in a few years...in fact, a friend asked me "Do people still wear Crazy Shirts?" The answer is YES!! I just haven't been because the shirts I have from them last a long time and I didn't need any more. So, warning: if you don't need shirts, don't go to Crazy Shirts Outlet with a friend who intends to spend a lot of time in the store. You will find too many great deals that you just cannot pass up. My initial reason for going to Crazy Shirts was to redeem my Ward Villages receipts for their promo (that ends 4/19--you get movie tickets for every $100 dollars spent in the Ward shops--it's crazy how easy it is to rack up the tickets!!). Super smart move on Crazy Shirts' part because once you're in the store and see all the great deals, you have to buy something!! I was with an out-of-town visitor, and she went crazy over the great prices and cute designs. So I started looking to help her find her size, and boy, were there some deals. At the time, they had a promo where if you bought 3 items, you'd get 30% off the whole purchase, 4 items--40% off, and 5 or more items, 50% off for everything you bought. Needless to say...we made sure we got our 50% off...of about 15 items! Remember the B. Kliban cat shirts that probably made Crazy Shirts famous "back in the day"? They still have them, but it's ok, they have lots of other newer super cute and sometimes humorous logos. Some merchandise is first quality, some discontinued, some is flawed. If it's flawed, most flaws are marked with a little sticker. Some flaws are so tiny that they really don't matter, yet you benefit from the discount. As I was looking for sizes and just poking around the inventory at Crazy Shirts to kill time (some of us took longer shopping than I did), I noticed all kinds of designs that I could easily gift to friends. At 50% off a $10 shirt, heck, they'd make great omiyage when visiting the Mainland!! I'll be heading back there soon to pick up a few :-) Tips: The sales promotions vary, so check back frequently. Most of the time I've seen the deal of the day on a big sign in the window. It's not very crowded (woohoo!), even on the weekend! The sales staff is super friendly and low pressure. Take your time, browse. Spend hours in there! The more you look, the more you'll find! You may notice different prices for the same item but a differing size. Check with staff what the price really is--it's probably lower than you expected. Crazy Shirts often makes the same design with different destinations printed on them--for instance, you may find a design that you love and it says "Hawaii" on it. You may find another size that says "Las Vegas" on it, etc. If you're buying omiyage, be sure you're giving away the one that says "Hawaii", if that's your intention. In my opinion, sizes are generous. Be sure to try on a few things before you decide your size. It may be smaller than you think. Happy shopping! read more

T-shirts aren't cheap nowadays - most cost over $20 now. But you can find cool t-shirts, shorts, and other casual wear at Crazy Shirts at deep discounts, and while a lot of their discounted merchandise are "flawed", they do discount non-flawed merchandise that is just old stock. And if you go during the holiday weekends, they'll usually give you a discount on top of the lowest ticketed price. This past weekend (Memorial Day) I bought a women's long sleeve t-shirt and a men's short sleeve t-shirt for $18. You normally won't find a bargain like that except at the Swap Meet or Walmart. Just be careful to inspect your merchandise before you buy it to make sure that it's not flawed, or if it is flawed, that it's a flaw that you can live with. read more

From the original outlet location at the old Costco near Salt Lake Blvd. to Waikele, Crazy Shirts' last and only outlet location is here in the Ward Center. It is a bit confusing to get here as you can park your car in the structure, but need to weave your way to the outer portion of the center to reach this store. Unlike the old locations, almost all of the shirts were discounted where it seems only half are here. Bought a few gifts (one bag), but nothing like what I used to buy at the other locations (three to four bags). Guessing that their producers are either getting more efficient or just a sign of the times of less discounts. Still can't resist their inventive designs and quality is definitely a step above those 5 for $20 or 10 for $20 shirts. read more

Crazy for Crazy Shirts. These shirts last wash after wash so I was bummed when the outlet at Waikele closed last year. I was delighted to hear about this location since I had recently ordered online and needed more shirts. We always walk out with at least a half dozen shirts for DH, son and myself plus a few gifts. The quantity & variety of Crazy Shirts at this location is very plentiful and their prices are incredibly affordable. The majority of their prices are always 50% off due to minor flaws on their products. Some flaws are negligible to unnoticeable, so the quantity of specific designs are very sporadic. They also have a changing room at this outlet, so you can try on specific sizes before you purchase them. Even though their prices are already great, you can get an even better deal here during a holiday sale! We came here during the week before the 4th of July, and they had a special going on where you got an additional 50% off of their already discounted prices. Let just say we bought enough clothes & shorts for our whole family + early Christmas gifts for our friends & relatives, that we used one of their empty cardboard boxes so that we could duct tape that box and use it as a check-in luggage to carry all of our items back on our flight home! If you're going to buy Crazy Shirts, don't pay full price. Visit the outlet and save $$$$$$. I mean, you can always pay full price for the newer shirts here, but you know. My family always comes here during our visits to re-stock my dad's and brother's shirts, but we actually made out like bandits this last time. There was a Buy More and Save Sale, and if you bought 5 items or more, it was 50% off. We left with 14+ shirts for less than $100! It was absolutely amazing. I hate to be that crazy cat lady, but I cannot resist the Kliban cat shirts. They are just too adorable. I won't wear them out in public or anything, but you know. Haha. 1st- The store front faces Auahi Street, so if your looking for it on Ala Moana, good luck, its not there! This shopping center is spread over a few blocks, so park in the garage close to Borders/Taco del Mar and you'll have a short walk there. 2nd- This doesnt have the outlet look and feel as did the other location which led me to think it's not gonna be "outlet" priced, and this was the case. This location does not offer the racks of shirts for $5.00, and I doubt any shirt is priced that low. The selection is good.. not great, and does offer designs from other locations. When I was there they had quite a few shirt designs for San Diego, Las Vegas, San Francisco, as well as the more common Maui. Bottom line- Yeah, I bought one for $12. Parking was free which is a plus. Cant say this is a must return to store when I head back... unless they change pricing or location. read more
