As many times…read moreas I have window shopped at Salvage Public at South Shore Market throughout the years, it wasn't until I saw Hōkūpa'a, Nāpali, and another staff (I hope you can forgive me for not asking for your name) at their pop-up location in Hilo. The Merrie Monarch vibes must have kicked in and I had to finally pop that cherry. I initially went with my hula family and used that time to soak everything in. The next day I went back alone to purchase a few items I couldn't stop thinking about. Both Nāpali and Hōkūpa'a hyped me up during my visit and all items I tried on was sold on the spot. Countless hugs and mahalo were exchanged during my encounter with them. Again, I had to go in a third time just to mahalo your (business) ʻohana during my trip to Hilo! Just about a week later I figured I would "window shop" again during my lunch break at South Shore Market and I was able to catch up with Hōkūpa'a. Then after some time of being educated about the items at the store I was sold again - resulting in me purchasing even more items than I did in Hilo! More hugs and mahalo were shared that day.
