One of my favorites in the greater Providence region and yet I truly never visit as frequently as I should. The serving options will meet any one of your needs. But make sure you bring an appetite. The only thing that you will find that exceeds is the outstanding service. Moments from Route 295 with lots of parking. Don't miss out!

Cannot speak to the ambiance or service because we ordered delivery, but the pancakes were good! We also ordered an egg sandwich with sausage and it came with bacon instead- a bit disappointing but likely an honest mistake. It came pretty quickly too!

Big thank you to Cranston dinner for seating a ten top an hour or so before closing. We called another place that will remain nameless and they wouldn't take us. Good thing anyway because the hospitality was great. Our waitress was very accommodating as well with us asking to split the check, so thank you. All the food came out in a timely manner and everything was great. It's so nice visiting places with reasonable prices and good portions. We'll definitely come back next time we're in town.

We're out of towners looking for an affordable place for breakfast. Found this diner on Yelp. It looked dark from the outside but they were open. Jodi was our waitress and was friendly. Hubby ordered the special which was eggs, bacon, potatoes and pancakes. I ordered the Irish omelette, which is corned beef hash with provolone in an omelette. I think I was served Swiss cheese though cause it definitely didn't taste like provolone, not a big deal because It was a huge portion and ended up taking half of it home. White bread wasn't available, so I got sourdough which was just as good but the coffee was AWFUL. It was very, very light, almost transparent, as if it was brewed with not enough coffee grounds. We had to wait for drink refills, napkins and the check. Meh experience

Think this is a very solid breakfast place Restaurant is sneaky big. So if yiu have kids, perfect diner to take them. It actually opens up when you walk in to a large restaurant. Its not too quiet and awkward Service was absolutely great with plenty of staff on even on a sunday morning. Menu has plenty of options. Food was very good. The toast had too much butter on it butt other than that, food was very good. Ill be back.

The waitresses are always friendly, attentive, and informative, and hearing them describe the daily specials always makes my mouth water. Even when there's a wait, it's absolutely worth it. The restaurant is very clean. I've met the owner twice as he tries to get around the diningroom before you leave to make sure your experience was a good one & personally thank you. I feel that in itself makes a big difference in quality control & guaranteeing he is hearing his customers & perhaps can make changes before it becomes a business-changing problem. (Sometimes a few bad reviews spread like wildfire & changing rumors back to the truth can hurt the bottom line). There is a delightful waitress you'll be glad to have serve you if you are lucky enough to be seated at her table. "Grandma (name)?" is a very happy way to start your day. She knows the menu well & can make you smile on your worse days. The menu has plenty to choose from & the portions sizes..epic! Eggs Benedict is 3 egg size. Pancakes & French toast orders are enough for today & tomorrow without adding eggs or meat. But their prices are similar to other places lessor size plates. There is an ramp at the entrance for those with mobility issues. There are a couple of handicap spots too. I do not know if the restrooms are wheelchair friendly as I didn't check it out yet. Even on a packed Sunday morning, the kitchen was quick moving the food out.. the waitress was right on top of refills too. Definitely worth stopping in & giving it a try but bring your appetite. Eating like a bird, I think, is frowned upon.

Seat yourself at the counter or in one of the 6 booths. Daily specials are posted both ends of the counter. Menus are on the table. A waitress came right over with napkins and flatware and took a drink order. Coffee, tea, soda, water, etc. Half & half is on the table along with salt & pepper. Breakfast includes omlettes, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches and egg breakfasts. I chose the #6 eggs with corned beef hash, breakfast potatoes and toast. I asked if the hash was house made and told yes. Based on my experience with canned corned beef, I'm thinking their 'Helen's heavenly hash' is very similar. The eggs were cooked very well. The potatoes tasty. Toast comes buttered. There are plenty of sandwich options on the lunch menu with or without fries. My SO chose a fully loaded Philly cheese steak. It's a good size sandwich and I am told it's tasty. The fries are crispy outside, fluffy inside. Everything was served nice and hot. Our server was new and she did a good job. A small ladies room is inside at the end of the counter while a men's room is outside. Feels like a diner this small could have two unisex restrooms instead of making customers go outside in the cold. Plenty of parking in their private lot. As with all true diners I've been to, the entrance is a couple steps up.

Service is always friendly too. The food is good, with a lot of options sure to please anyone in your party. It isn't gourmet but they get creative in their own right offering specials on top of the already extensive menu which includes plenty of Benedict's. My last visit I did feel pricing was a little high for a local breakfast spot, but it won't stop me from returning, especially since my omelette was large enough for me to have a leftover breakfast at home the next day. Overall I find Greg's to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

We were sat down immediately and were promptly taken orders. Inside is pretty typical of a diner and some seatings available. I ordered coffee and Portuguese benedict. The Portuguese benedict was pretty good. French toast like sweet Portuguese bread as a base with linguica and soft runny egg topped with hollandaise sauce. Slightly sweet and savory and definitely one of better eggs benedict I've had in RI. Home fries were crunchy and flavorful. Coffee was solid as well. Order came fairy quickly and service was good Overall the place is a solid breakfast place with good food and service. I like that this place isn't too crowded and wait time isn't crazy because a lot of other breakfast places are very busy and it's really not worth the wait. This place is a hidden gem and would come back again for breakfast. The locals seem to know the place as it seems like there are some regulars.

For the #BestBreakfastSandwich, I ordered the grilled English muffin with sausage, American cheese & egg. Hubby selected the Western (ham, onions, peppers & cheese). We couldn't not order the absolutely delicious & HUGE side helping of home fries. The breakfast sandwiches were hearty & satisfying. You can tell they rely on fresh, local ingredients where they can because the flavors pop in that unpretentious, "this is real food" kind of way. The home fries had this gorgeous grilled crisp on top that made it impossible not to eat every single bite! The service was friendly & warm, where everyone seems happy to be there & they treat you like a regular, even if it is your first visit. When we arrived there was parking available and no wait, but by the time we left, the tables were pretty full as was the parking lot. The Cozy Grill is quite literally cozy inside... the menu features breakfast classics but also an impressive Benedicts menu. I'm a Benny girl through and through so this was very appealing to me. I tried their most popular option, the Fig, Prosciutto, and Goat Cheese. It sounds like a bizarre combination for Eggs Benny, but let me tell you, it really works! I was very happy with my choice. The home fries were also quite good. My friend had eggs and corned beef hash. She is a huge fan of corned beef hash and was really impressed by how it was served (more elegantly than is typical). I, never having had corned beef hash in my life, tasted hers and thought it was really good! All in all, I'm so glad I finally discovered this spot. I can see why it's so popular and can imagine much longer lines on the weekends. Arrive early for your best chances at parking :)

My friend had come here before and boasted about their portion sizes, and he was not wrong. I ordered the #10, Harriet's Humdinger, and it was packed with sweet and savory and was enough to easily serve two people. It had eggs (2), bacon (5 slices), toast (2), home fries, French toast (1), and pancakes (2). The eggs were cooked just how I wanted them, the bacon was cooked to the perfect crispiness and the most slices I have ever gotten at a breakfast place, the toast was a bit over toasted but Harriet's has been forgiven, and the home fries were delicious because of the flavor but also because of the different textures - soft, crunchy, slightly chewy. The French toast was simple but so good, and the pancakes were fluffy and massive. The inside is nice, and lots of natural light coming in. It was decorated with St. Patrick's Day stuff, I appreciated the small details. Our waitress was very attentive and charismatic and did a good job of coming around the perfect amount of times.
