Well, New Years Eve is the exact day i had the BEST BLT sandwich of my life. I went to Craft'd with my friends and their kiddos for the new years eve kids party. The kiddos had so much fun with building their own pizza, dancing, clinking little 'champagne' (apple cider) flutes, and of course, the balloons and confetti drop. Staff was really nice and helpful. The pretzel appetizer was huge. However, not as "chewy" or soft pretzel tasting as we expected. It was more like a big bread roll. The dollar tacos taste more like Taco Bell dollar tacos and not like the authentic dollar tacos we were craving. I would not recommend them. The pulled pork mac and cheese was delicious. There's no other way to say this - Craftd is our new favorite. We've never had a bad meal here. The food (all of it) is just excellent. Food comes out hot and the portions are unbelievably generous. You can't beat the soft pretzel, dry-rubbed boneless wings, Chicago beef rolls, or uncommon burger. Service is generally good. It gets understandably busy during peak weekend dining hours. You do have to stay on top of the host stand. For instance on Saturday evening a young blonde hostess told us it would be a twenty minute wait for our party of four. We agreed to wait at the bar and one person in our party noticed that she sat no less than three other parties of four in the short time we waited. She ultimately forgot about us, but we ended up being seated and it was fine. I do wish they took reservations for weekend dining, as the restaurant fills up quickly. read more

We ordered a simple bacon burger and chicken tenders. The burger was a double patty, super thin patty, overly cooked to the point it was like a hockey puck. The bacon seemed to be warmed over and was like beef jerky texture. Luckily the fresh lettuce tomato and onion looked fresh and crisp. The tenders were underdone and a slimy tendon was coming out of one of the tenders. I recommend the brussel sprouts which is tossede in a sweet heat sauce. read more

Craft'd didn't exactly start off on the right foot with my wife and I. Upon entering a fairly busy Sunday dinner (maybe 15 tables tops), we were told it would be over an hour to get food from the kitchen. No worries, was a nice night and we were there to relax anyway. Started with a couple mules, 1 traditional and 1 apple cinnamon. Both were fantastically refreshing on a warm summer night. From there we ordered some smokey pimento cheese dip. Wasnt super smokey, but paired well with the beverages. What did blow me away was the flavor profile on my dinner selection. I'll copy it word for word from the menu, even though that doesnt even do it justice. Hot chicken & French toast - smoked chicken topped with pig candy, green apple relish and pickled red onion with apricot habanero sauce atop a Craft'd French toast bun. Let me tell you how amazing this sandwich was. Each bite was remarkable. Little sweet, little savory, little spicy, little smokey. Very satisfied with the uniqueness of the sandwhich. All in all, great place to visit if you want to try something new. I hope they stick around for a while and they get their kitchen issues sorted out. Look forward to going back. read more

This was our first time here. We were looking for a place for lunch away from the city on our way out of Chicago. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations. It was fun to see one of the craft beers from our hometown in Central IL was on the menu also. Weather was perfect for sitting out in the beer garden which was a plus. Let me say that I eat at Craft'd often. Everything I've had on their menu has been outstanding and the staff is awesome. That's why when I saw they offered a take-out heat 'n eat Thanksgiving dinner I ordered right away. In addition, I added a pumpkin pie to the order at the cost of $15. When I picked up my order tonight, I was shocked to see the pumpkin pie was actually from Costco. A pie that costs $5. To top it all off, I am also at Costco fairly often and saw their pies and purposely did not get one because I knew I had one in order from Craft'd. Little did I know. I'm disappointed I just got gauged an additional $10 for something I could have easily picked up on my way to get the dinner. read more

Wow! The food was fine, BUT the service was incredible. Our wonderful waitress, Emma was attentive and I swear, she knew what I wanted even before I did. She was kind and made us laugh non-stop, showcased her incredible strength when she picked up 3 plates with one hand, provided life-saving first-aid to my friend, and sang us a beautiful opera song in falsetto. Was looking forward to trying this place as I drive by it daily. To start the service was good from what I could see (not hear) and the burger I had was decent. The problem was the live music. For a Tuesday at 7:30 at night I may have left the restaurant with hearing problems. Was unable to have a conversation with my significant other or even any of the service staff. It is what I would assume going to a Kid Rock concert would be like; way to loud for not a lot of people. Also for paying extra to upgrade my side from chips to fries I feel like the fries should at least have some seasoning so I'm not eating damp potato straws. I would recommend looking to see when there is live music playing and going a different day or a hearing aid will be coming in the near future to you. read more

Amazing atmosphere, service and food!! We went to celebrate a birthday and couldn't have been happier. This was our first time here, and it will now be a place that we frequent. For appetizers, we had the giant pretzel and italian beef rolls. Both were delicious, but I really loved the pretzel. It was light and fluffy and came with honey mustard and an amazing cheese dip with jalapeños. Our entrees were all delicious. Two of us had the hot honey butter chicken breast sandwich, though I'm not sure that's the exact name. My husband had the wings. This place is a 'must try'. There's something for everyone! read more

Absolutely and easily the worst night out in the last 25 years! After almost an hour (55 minutes) our waitress comes to our table to let us know that the computer "glitched" and lost our order. She did apologize and said she would take care of our meal. My husband asked if we could get an appetizer while we wait as we all came very hungry, including our 3 children. 10 minutes later she came back with a small plate of cheese curds. There are 5 hungry people here and why wouldn't we get a choice as to what appetizer? Why not 2 appetizers? I was very understanding as it was 6:30 on a Friday night but now our patience was wearing thin. 25 minutes later we did get our dinner. We had to ask several times for jalapenos, buffalo sauce and BBQ sauce. I was 2/3 rds. finished with my burger by the time my daughter received her BBQ sauce. She wasn't able to start eating because what's BBQ chicken without the BBQ sauce? After we ate, the manager approached us, apologized and offered to compensate us for the appetizer and the 2 deserts. We accepted as my husband didn't want to get upset by having to explain that after waiting an hour and a half we couldn't even start eating because our order wasn't complete. He would rather pay for the meal than have to argue after a long hard week at work. Also, it was my birthday and he didn't want to have to make a scene. We all agree that error's occur, but after the error they should have made certain that we had everything we needed to begin having dinner. Instead my daughter had to wait another 10 minutes to start her meal and I and my husband had to eat more than half our burgers without the jalapenos we ordered it with. I wish that was the worst of the evening. It wasn't. One of the staff was asking if anyone had parked in the lot next door. several patrons ran out only to find that their cars were towed. I spoke with 5 different people and they, including myself did not see a "No Parking" sign. There isn't adequate parking in the lot at Craft'd so the logical place to park would be the attached lot at a business that closed 2 hours earlier. Again, 5 people, including myself did not see this sign. Personally, myself and my husband looked for it intentionally. There is nothing inside the restaurant to let you know that parking in the lot attached would result in a tow. This was an incredibly awful end to and awful experience at this restaurant. I also called the manager at Craft'd and she was "Too busy to talk right now" I highly recommend NEVER going to a place were you the customer is the last person they care about. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! read more

I'm not big on cauliflower and didn't think I'd eat any of it but it was amazing. Tastes like buffalo wings. Id recommend it. The click yeah was really good. I like really spicy food and it was spicy. So may be a bit much for some. The service was great no complaints. They have a raffle after the bears games. When we went it was for tickets. This place is soooo good! Second time here and had a great experience. The hostess and our waiter were both very polite and friendly. They were out of a few items which is understandable as it was graduation weekend. We tried the beef rolls for an appetizer. Really good flavor and you get 6 of them. We both had the sangria - Craftd sangria and the strawberry. Our favorite was the Craftd sangria which is a raspberry flavor. I had the Cluck Yeah sandwich with sweet potato fries. It comes with a hot sauce and a mustard sauce on the side. A little spicy and the chicken was delicious. My husband got the 2 foot philly with tater tots.
