I loved this little bar and grill. They been open I think like 40 years!! We went for the band on Sunday St. Jupiter's and they did not disappoint. The guy on the violin gave me goosebumps. The singers range of different tones was amaizng and the way they played together in the heat was inspiring. The food was on point and cheap what a great combo! Joy the bartender was stunning and really held the ousting patio together. I can't wait to visit again read more

Checked out this bar in Crest Hill. Gusto's is a longtime hangout for locals. It gets seriously busy when there's something like a Bears game on. A lot of cheap drinks. The food is pretty basic with everything being some fried stuff. Basically this place has been around a long time from the looks of it. It's got a pretty cramped parking lot surrounding it. The inside is full of sports memorabilia and winos. At least there's cheap drinks. It's about $6 for a basic cocktail, whiskey mixed with whatever. As for the food it's somehow popular. They have a massive burger on a pretzel bun that's the signature item they say. It's about $9 for appetizers. The mushrooms may be the healthiest thing you can get. For sure it's not pretty but it's cheap. It's got lots of specials going on. This is a popular place for watching sports and other things. read more

The only thing could approve AB gusto's hangover bar. Is close it the food is just food. It's not very good. You go in there. The service is fair. They're looking for your money that's about the size of it. There is no ambience. Absolutely none. if you go in there better watch your back that's all I can tell you for all the troubles that they've had over the years between somebody getting shot jumped stuff stolen on their cars Guys getting knife in the parking lot people getting jumped I think that's not where I want to go. I've been around there and in there many years ago and lately it hasn't changed the faces have gotten younger, but it hasn't changed the owners haven't changed they'd like to make you feel like you have, but it's not this is not the first time it's had gunfire flying. That's for damn sure. Go with your own risk and do what you want. It wouldn't be me go. Have a good time not worry about who's behind my back. Who's watching me? Good luck with that. read more

We had a blast here. Stopped in on a whim on a random Tuesday. Apparently that's their karaoke night, perfect! We sang a few songs and had a couple drinks. The drinks were good and the prices were great. Bartender was very friendly and got us taken care of quickly. We'll definitely be back soon. read more

Saw an advertisement for 75 cent wings and $7 burgers. We've been meaning to try Gustos, so off we went. There were no available tables inside so we found our way to the patio. We're not smokers. The patio is definitely smoker friendly, but that is expected. Anyway...if you want food you have to order at the bar. You either prepay, or run a tab and they hold your credit card. I prepaid. Food came out relatively quickly. The wings are delicious...love the thin cut celery. Onion rings are pretty good. Burger comes on a pretzel bun with real hand formed beef. It was cooked nicely. They also serve breakfast. read more

This place is a train wreck at best before the pandemic. Now it's even worse. They signed up for all these delivery apps, and are giving the hours of service for the BAR not the grill. Place order. Someone calls who says they don't have a cook and don't know how to cancel the order. Could I call the company for them? I want lunch, I want to be able to order this place for lunch, and I'm sure the people who are day drinking there need to have food so they don't get a DUI on their way home. I see so many people over served leaving this place and they had the balls to post a GoFundMe me. Their poor boys are amazing, the Buffalo mac and cheese is great if they remember to put it on the side and not next to the lose poor boy in the container and send it on its way. This place is run like some guy decided he wanted to have a bar while drinking one night with a group of friends and they encouraged him to do it. It looks like it's ran as either a hobby, or a huge tax write off. read more

First time coming here, I wanted to check out a popular bar near me overall this place is pretty busy but it's not my type of bar overall. The bartenders aren't too friendly, drink prices are okay, food and prices are okay. Place has a bit of dark atmosphere with a 90s vibe to it. Plenty of parking around the circumference of the bar too read more

I personally would never go to this bar just based on the appearance of it. This bar looks like you would walk in and the spirit of cigarette would blow smoke in your face. The bar taps are screaming to know the touch of pin sol and bleach. If I could walk into the kitchen, there is nothing but wanna be chefs cooking for these people. The bathroom looked cool like hope they get home safe. Sorry. read more

For a great bite to eat whether it's breakfast or burgers, and you get to wash it all down with an ice cold beer or a mixed drink of your choosing. It's all served to you with a smile and a welcome break from the routine of day to day life. Shoot some pool while you're there, or throw some darts, listen to music from the jukebox or live bands, or play on the electronic slot machines. read more

Now this is my kinda joint. Pool table? Check. Darts? Check. Cornhole? Check. Great food and beer? Check. Service has always been good too. Seriously though...the smash burger specials are killer. read more

First time here. Definitely nothing fancy. Not going to find your grey goose martinis with prestige table service. It's beer and shots or maybe long island. Bartenders quick as the Flash! Cieling falling down. lol Only stopped in to meet a friend I hadn't seen in a year who said his buddy was playing. When D Rox started singing she brought in a whole new energy. Fun place for live music. Great place to get stupid drunk and eat great bar food. And just be....stupid. Pretty good spirts. Good harmless fun and lots of laughs. Would go see a live band (with friends) there again maybe. GREAT SHOW Should probably uber in and uber out. You will have to do a 7 day detox just to clear to poisons from your soul. Enter if you dare!!! read more

I have always enjoyed great Bar/Pub food. Went to Gustos and it met the challenge. Great seasoned burger, wings, and sides. This was my first time and hopefully not the last. As long as they remain consistent with food and service. read more

Their is nothing here and very expensive for trash food we asked for a refund for me and took long to get our money back

Just a go too breakfast spot nothing outstanding just good food! Closes at 3.so never had anything but breakfast!

Dumpy dive bar, Nothing nice or in good condition here. This place has been here for about 30 years and nothing been repaired for that long. If you want drinks, and don't mind being in a bar where most the lighting inside is from Christmas lights, beer signs and the video slots, you just might like this place. On the plus side drinks are reasonably priced Basic sandwich type food is served, Ok nothing to get excited about read more

Unknown if the food is any good since my order was messed up, still waiting almost 30 minutes for chili cheese fries. Bartender ignored me for almost 10 of standing at bar. Took care of customer next to me then proceeded to help 5 other people. I finally had to ask her if I can get some service. Came for the bar bingo & I will never be back. Service was horrible to say the least. The bar wasn't that busy either. read more

I do not recommend visiting this place. Sanitation: I was sat at a dirty table with already used glassware from previous customers. The table was never cleaned up, not that it would have made a difference because the towel used to clean tables was also used to wipe a dirty ash tray. No cleaning agents were used nor a sanitizer bucket. I saw the sweaty waiter wipe his face with his hand and delivery beer bottles by holding them by the neck. And finally, none of the three servers were wearing face masks in midst of this Covid-19 situation. Service: In places of public accommodation such as this restaurant, you are not supposed to discriminate customers based on race, religion blah blah blah. But in this place, they asked me to prepay by credit card and they asked my nationality before being served. When I refused to answer, they asked again three more times. As I refused to answer, I was not served my food and they charged me for it. Prices: This restaurant does not publish its pricing online, nor on the restaurant menu or on the bill. They don't the price of their menu items. I suppose so that they can charge different customers different prices. This was my first time at this place, and boy it sucked. read more

This place is awesome food is really good atmosphere is great. Beer is ice cold and the stall is friendly great bar tenders. Very clean highly recommend kind of my new favorite place read more

Nice dive bar!! I'm a fan of dive bars and this one hits everything I love. They have live music regularly and the band they had tonight sounded amazing and not to loud where you can't order a beer, it was perfect. They have open mic nights on Sunday with a band called SilverCreek. The band sings great classic rock and hard country songs and then other musicians can get up and play with the band. It's so fun to watch. Gustos is also a very dart friendly bar. They have four dart boards and have regular tournaments. Food is really good for a dive bar. I was surprised I have to admit. They have an outside patio that's covered in the winter. So if you like going outside to have a drink, you can. I think I found myself a new regular place to grab a drink. read more

Good service, great prices. Fantastic fun dive bar but definitely a dive bar. Enjoy

Picture this: You're in the Joliet/Crest Hill area (Wait, I am sincerely sorry for forcing you to imagine that, but bare with me) and you're looking for a bar to throw back some cheap beers with good people. Ok ok, so the juke box is usually taken over by someone with bad tribal tattoos and a taste for Nickelback, but there are ways around this. They have one of these new internet jukeboxes, and for a $1 extra you can have your songs skip the rubbish and move along to something pleasing to your ears (unless you're one of those Nickelback lovers). Are you hungry? They have pizza. And popcorn! And if Kristie is there you're in for a surprise treat! Good grief, I hope it's her brat stew. Kristie's brat stew is delectable! Looking to do something besides just saddling up at the bar? There are several boards for darts, a pool table, and in the summer there's a patio to play bags (Watch out for The Lake and don't step on the S.S. Gusto if it has just rained). Need to smoke but it's too cold to go outside? No worries! The back patio gets insulated in the winter and equipped with space heaters! Be friendly with the bartenders and you just might find yourself lucky enough to get one of those old timey wooden coins that you can trade in for a free drink! read more

This burger was AMAZING!!! I had a taste for a "burger," but I did not expect perfection. I had bacon, egg and cheese on top of this humongous burger. It was a pretzel bun, but they grilled or fried the bun. I've been here before, but I forgot how delicious their food is. The fries were hot and full of potatoes. I'm stuffed right now but cannot wait for my leftovers tomorrow morning read more

Just went yesterday for our first time, burgers were amazing! Beer was cold! What else could you ask for? Oh and like I said the burgers are amazing! Mine came with a friend egg, slice of ham, bacon, and cheese. My BF's came with jalapeños and habanero mayo. Give it a try. And the patio is super cute read more

I would not ever go back to this place again have been 2 times in 20 + years and both times the beer taper had slim at the end of the taper that means that they don't clean the system no thanks and I live in Crest Hill and they can be to cheap to use the dumpster so they burn the garbage out in a 55 gallon drum out back read more

If you like dive bars, this is the place to be. This place is truly disgusting. Upon walking in, it reeks of urine. There are cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, and there's a jar full of free condoms. No co2 in their dispensers, so anything requiring carbonation will be flat. A real neighborhood beer and shot lets-get-drunk drunk bar. It gots some potential, though. Don't let the exterior of the building fool you; Gustos isn't your typical neighborhood bar, they also serve up gourmet food. I'm not talking about your typical greasy, deep fried frozen crap, I'm talking homemade, made-to-order burgers, sides and appetizers to die for. Definitely try the pot roast nachos or the "Gusto" burger (topped with bacon, cheese and a fried egg on a pretzel bun). They recently opened for breakfast as well. Anyone who is coming off working 3rd shift can now take advantage of a full menu and bar starting at 6am. I know that good food is hard to find at that hour and Denny's and the like get boring after a while. Try something at Gustos and you won't be disappointed. Aside from the grill, Gustos is your neighborhood bar that hosts live bands, Karaoke, Dart leagues and tournaments. Drinks are reasonably priced and the staff is friendly. What it lacks in ambience, it makes up for in everything else. Come in often enough and everyone will know your name, just like Cheers. It really does have that type of feel. read more

This is a old style neighborhood shot and Beer bar. Nothing, and I mean nothing, fancy. But good beer specials and great food. Not sure where they get it, but cooked on sight, must try the gusto burger. Even has an egg on it. Be nice to the bar tenders they will make you feel right at home as if you come in every day. Like Cheers but not as newly decorated. I think It was decorated in the 60's or 70's. Love this place. read more
