The beer and food was good. However, on yelp, it says dogs are allowed but after sitting down the staff said they don't allow dogs. They were very nice about it, let me finish my beer and gave the kids a free cookie with our food order. Experienced watered down beer, 7-Eleven level food, barrel aged stout was good but they ran out of it. On a Friday mind you, half their beers were sold out! I've been $supporting$ this establishment for more than 10 years since they had their little, tiny garage setup before their expansion. I know and frequent their bar tenders, who until today have been top notch. Truly top notch! I was confronted by a tender who asked if my "wife" should be served another drink. I've been married to this beautiful woman for almost 30 years and never have we ever experienced what we did today. Mind you, my wife is the one who introduced me to Werk Force almost 10 years ago. And I've seen many incidents there, and we were never part of it. But today, I feel we were singled out, being the only Hispanic customers of the night. Today I feel a bit of discrimination, considering the amount of people consuming this evening were all white, and the only Hispanic group at a table was my group of 6. I gave thousands of dollars to this establishment for more than a decade. No longer, and I advise any newcomers to consider my experience this evening. I loved this place for years and looked forward to the weekends on stopping here and enjoying some really great beer. My WIFE has never been obnoxious or insulting or disturbing anywhere, and not one moment tonight was she in anyway what they perceived her to be, but only enjoying her new IPA that WH had to offer. Consider your hard-earned money and dedicate the spend to a well-deserved brewery, but not Werk Force. I will miss this great spot as I have enjoyed for years, but I won't regret the insulting insinuation directed to my wife. Breweries come and go, WF has good beer, but not the best. I have visited this place twice in less than a month and I love their beers. I like breweries that serve food and the kitchen has simple but quality plates that are great pairing with all the beers. It is kind of order and pay for the food and beers, but you can open a tab and the guys pouring the beers are super friendly and knowledgeable about the different beer styles which translates to a good service experience. The ambiance is industrial and pretty much like a brewery with barrels all over and music in the background. I can foresee this place growing in popularity and food service as well. Really cool spot, not only in terms of the beer, but also the design of the place. It's got a lot of seating, both indoor and outdoor, so perfect for when it's warm out. For beer, I got the stacks of wax and the to didgeridoo or to didgeridon't there, and then a 4 pack of the foggy rhetoric to go. All of them were quite good. They had plenty more beers to choose from, something for everyone. The bartenders were all nice. There's a parking lot with plenty of space. It's also located right off I-55 so not hard to get to, though it is quite a drive if you're coming from the city, but it's definitely worth making the drive, or if you happen to be in the area, even better. I'd gladly come back if I'm ever down this way again, there were definitely more beers I'd like to try. read more

First time coming here, wanted to try out at new local place that I haven't been to yet. I'm big on Breweries and this place definitely isn't too bad. It gets a fair amount of people, and I enjoy that it welcomes kids and pets. People may be at a hit or miss with the train but I enjoy the fact it's next door to the railway. The prices aren't too bad and neither is the vibe. Parking can be bad at times since this place is a popular business spot. It sadly doesn't have food but it's worth checking out. read more

The server who worked there was down right rude and embarrassed me in front of the customers. My husband and I were out and about and stopped there before heading back to our daughter's home. We were visiting from WI. We did not know they were not dog friendly. She did not say hello and was rude when she said they were NOT Dog Friendly. We had a little trouble finding it, as the sign we followed led us to a door that was locked and said closed. Plenty of people in the parking lot tho- so we knew it had to be open. Luckily someone pointed us to the other end of the building. Large space, outdoor seating available, and a good atmosphere. They happened to have live music the night we went which was a nice treat!
