Best IPA maker in the Midwest. Love coming in to try something new but also love just drinking old favorites as well. Bartenders are great and the set up of the bar and tables is good for big groups or single patrons. Love the huge mural art next to the bar. Sets the tone for a good beer drinking experience. Love the beer here!

Stopped over for a few beers as we're in the neighborhood. After trying their Bruski, a good beer. I had to try their other brews. I had tried the Gummylicious and Frozen FX. Pleased with both. Outside of their wonderful beer you cannot beat their service. Greeted kindly and very attentive. Will be back here for sure to try their others brews!

Have been to noon whistle multiple times before. A microbrewery in the industrial parts of Naperville. It's pretty close to the "Hotspot" of rt 59. The drinks are a little bit more pricey but it is high-quality beer. they have everything from sweet ciders all the way to dark ales. Lots of fancy IPAs too. Definitely a fun spot to grab a drink. they have very minimal snacky food, I would consider them a drinks only bar but you are allowed to order food in. people working there are always friendly and know the beers well.

An unexpected place in an industrial park is where you'll find a brewery. In Naperville is a lot of big warehouses and one of them has this big space. Noon Whistle is more of a tasting room than a bar so it's often a lot quieter than that. Lots of seating and plenty of room for activities. They have pages of drafts and have a few snacks like pretzels. Came by because the map showed a brewery around. It was actually kind of hard to find because it's actually a big warehouse and doesn't stand out from the rest of these around here. The taproom is very spacious and can fit lots of people. On this day it was kind of quiet. There were only a few people at the bar and they were doing trivia. It didn't even have many people for this event. There were some people coming in and out to fill growlers. It may have been a slow day but I gave them some business. The Bruski is the name of the beer I liked so I got that. It's $6 for a pint for most beers. This is a Pilsner Czech and has Saaz hops. According to the menu, and I confirmed by sniffing it, this has toasted bread aromas and flavors. There's also some bar snacks. Gnarly Knots are pretzel chips. It's $6 for a bag of each. There's a few cool flavors. Finding this the first time can be hard because it's hard to tell other warehouses from this building. It's at Fort Hill Drive and Jefferson Avenue not far off the road. They have fun activities like trivia night so check the website.

This brewery is a neat industrial space with an extensive beer menu and friendly staff. I got a flight and had a gummy ipa, a seasonal red that had winter spices, the key lime pie beer, and the mint hot chocolate stout. All were unique and delicious. I generally am not a huge IPA drinker but this was a bit fruity and very good. The key lime pie was excellent, it was like a sour beer that tasted like key lime. The flight was 4 beers (5 oz pours) for $10 which was very reasonable and is a very relaxing atmosphere.

This is in the warehouse, where the Venue was for the comedy show.

We went here for a comedy event, starring Zane Lamprey. It was a very nice facility, And in the event space we were very well taken care of. My fiancé went up front to get a beer to avoid the long lines. The bartender was very rude, And did not assist her at all In trying to figure out which beer to get for me. She asked about the peach flavored beer, and he had no clue although they only had one peach Sour available. I would recommend this place, but if a bartender is rude to you, I would suggest getting a different bartender.

Go Brewing is located in Naperville, IL. I've got a confession; Sunbeam Pills is my first non-alcoholic beer. I came across it at a friend's house and thought I would give it a try. I'm no teetotaler, but I do enjoy a lot less drinks than your typical Wisconsinite (one or two drinks a week). Sunbeam Pills was inspired by Carl Sagan, a scientist partly responsible for NASA's Voyager 1's mission obtaining a picture of the Earth (showing just how small and insignificant Earth is to the entire universe). Let me start with the good. The artwork on the Sunbeam Pills can is out of this world, such a neat design! Hats off to the artist as it immediately made me want to try this beer. It poured a clear gold with a medium head. On the downside, I thought the flavor was too bitter/hoppy and a bit watery. I applaud the effort, but I wouldn't drink this again even if it did have enough alcohol for a nice buzz. Avoid Doughboy_Food_Reviews

Miskatonic is the best reason to go to Darien, but you should also check out this Naperville location and drink up. Has quite a few beers on tap and a good variety of different stuff to choose from. There's also a pretty big food menu of salads and sausages. Getting here was kind of fun but it was annoying. It's hard to find parking around this brewery especially in evenings. There's the parking garage that you'll have to walk from. Know The Lantern is almost across the street and you'll be close. This is in the middle of a row of restaurants. Once inside we were able to get a table, but found a better location to get drinks and food ordered at the bar. The beer I got was the Vox. It's $7 for a pint. This is a pilsner that's real smooth. She got the Midnight Rider, a sour ale. The other beer we got was the West Coast Wizard, an IPA. All were good. They have a pretty big food menu. It's about $16 for a sausage entree. You can substitute a veggie sausage. A few flavors to choose from, but most of these come with bacon. The Nurnberger Bratwurst is topped with mustard and sauerkraut. Makes sense getting that one and substituting it with the veggie sausage of course. They also often have live music. Hearing great things about it and these are true apparently. It's closed Mondays. There's tons of beers as well as sausages that can be made for vegetarians.

Whiskey Hill is a funny name, as this place has beer, not whiskey. Oh well, what they have is still good. There's a pretty good selection including some hoppy and sours. Even so, a pretty good price for a small brewery. Has many to choose from. Best was the 7 Mile Bridge. It's a Belgian Weisse with key lime, toasted coconut, and vanilla. A lot of lime flavor. This is almost like a sour to be honest. A pretty strong one at 7% ABV. There's not a whole lot on tap, but they manage to have quite a bit for a microbrewery to be honest. Cooked well, but buried under too many microgreens and then oddly topped with tortilla chip strips. No smokiness either. It felt more confused than cohesive. Where it really started to miss was the overall approach. A lot of "the chef intends this..." type explanations. It ends up feeling like the food insists upon itself instead of just letting you enjoy it. That's the bigger issue. This place exists in a space where I don't think most people want to meet it. Not casual enough to relax, not refined enough to justify the performance. Bottom line: good drinks, great pot pie, but the experience tries a little too hard.

Beers, wines, and champagnes use an RFID card, and you pay by the ounce (or fraction thereof). The good news is you can try a bonafide sip of just about everything and anything without feeling bad. The bad news is that while the cost isn't high, if you're not careful, it adds up quickly. I truly did enjoy the variety, and especially loved that they have the special glassware, complete with bases, that you may pour yourself a flight. I also enjoyed seeing how everything was organized by category, so that you may find something more your speed rather than a recent brewery experience where I am looking for something that isn't an IPA. For food, I ordered the Brussels Sprouts. While not mind-blowing, these were above average. The sprouts were pretty well roasted (not quite perfect, but not bad), and I liked the sweet, savory, and acidic notes of the bacon, maple, cranberries, and balsamic. Everything was well-balanced and I happily cleared my plate. Next, especially for a place that is largely self-service, I want to recognize my server for being kind and attentive throughout the experience. In terms of value, I feel as though their prices are around average, given the area and the product, for I am sure the tech is not cheap! The vibe is something I can only describe as brewery-esque, with brick, metal, and wood. I am less concerned about the walls, though, what I do want to highlight is how clean everything was! With the amount of hands touching everything, this is no easy feat. Final verdict: Sometimes, especially on a warmer day, it's not about fancy whiskey or food, but about simple food and drink done well. Tapville Social is that place. There are more than enough beers that you're sure to find something you like, and solid food that you have something to wash down, and aren't drinking on an empty stomach.
