Stepped in for the first time last night on a recommendation. I haven't been drinking much this year but their beer menu had too many options that I couldn't say no to. I ended up guzzling the Sandia Especial, a watermelon Lager that went down easy on a warm summer day. There were easily 6-7 other crafts that I wanted to try...another time. The food menu here is pretty small but my guess is that all of their choices are excellent, including the quesabirria tacos that I ordered. They're on the small side but absolutely delicious. We had some of the birria nachos as well. They were also terrific. The next time in I'd probably try their smash burger, which looked good. Cheers.

Omg these masala curds are AMAZING!

Walked in to a bright, clean, friendly atmosphere. Decor is beautiful and welcoming. Brittany was our bartender...so friendly and gave great suggestions. Can definitely tell this is her home...she is so passionate about what they offer. Tried a lot of 5 oz. Pours...the usual, aurora beer spruce up, peel party, gratification, blender bender no 1, kittywampus, barrel aged serum of truth, and lineage.... There wasn't 1 I didnt like. I was so impressed. I normally don't care for wheat beers but even loved the peel party...flavorful and refreshing! For food: - masala cheese curds (square..the best kind!) - chimichurri burger with Peri peri waffle fries -birria grilled cheese Andrea in the kitchen has talent because all the flavors together were absolutely outstanding. This is food you cannot find anywhere else! Will definitely be back as soon as possible! Wish you were closer to home!

Do not park in this lot!

You must come check out this brewery that's beaming with great beer and food. They have something for everyone here, not just catering to beer lovers but also their friends who may not be into beers. They have 12 beers on tap, cocktails, wine, seltzer and non-alcoholic beer. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Habanero Lime Chicago-ish $7 pint - My favorite beer of the day, very refreshing with a subtle spicy kick. Chicken Tikka Tacos $14 - 3 delicious tacos that combined bold smoky flavors of tender chicken tikka with fresh, vibrant, and tangy flavors of pickled onions and cilantro lime sauce. Foreign Exchange Smashburger $18 - Excellent burger and comes with fries or upgrade to the cheese curds. Bombay sandwich $14 - Vegetarian sandwich, also comes with fries. River Street Curds - These are unlike any cheese curds and I have tried and they are to die for! Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. Plenty of street parking, but don't park in the residential parking lot next to the building. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2025

Birria grilled cheese + a cup of Posole blanco

Full disclosure - we don't drink, but we do love food, and the eats here are yummy! We both got the December special - grilled cheese with birria and a cup of posole blanco - delicious. The homemade sourdough is a treat, and the service is fast and friendly.

Foreign Exchange flights include 4 5oz beers. This flight and the beers listed is from our most recent visit on 8/9/2025

Foreign Exchange offers a variety of hot, fresh food that superior to your normal bar food. The flavors are distinct and delicious. We have tried the Peri Peri Gyros, Elote Bites and Kittywampas Churros. The beers are outstanding. After a couple of visits, my husband and I have tried almost all the beers on the menu. He is an IPA and stout fan , and I like everything else. Beers are full of flavors that are subtle and natural. The descriptions on the menu are exactly what you will taste in the beers. We have yet to find one we didn't like. Service is fast, friendly, attentive and beyond helpful. Caetlyn was our server on our most recent visit and could not have been nicer: Foreign Exchange is a great addition not only to Downtown Aurora but also to the Illinois Craft Beer Community.

It was my first visit to your restaurant though my wife has been here before with friends. Chad was our server. He pleasantly explained the drink and dining menus and took good care of us all evening. My bride had her favorite drink, The French Martini, and you guys nailed it for her! I was very happy with the 2025 Pils. Dinner was amazing, Skirt steak for her, brisket for me with Yukon potatoes following salads for both of us. The quality and taste of the food was great and makes us want to come back and sample other dishes. We received great service and a nice complimentary glass of champagne (with Ho-Ho's) to finish our celebration. At the end of the evening we received a big surprise when Chad came over with news that we had no bill to pay as my wife's daughter and her husband had secretly called to pay the tab! So thoughtful of them to treat us and to top off a memorable meal and milestone in our lives.

Went to Hardware in North Aurora and came away with mixed feelings…read more The good: ambiance is great and the drinks were on point. Had the Marilyn saison and a solid dark beer. Bar program is strong. The short rib pot pie was a straight up winner. Rich, comforting, and not trying to be anything other than good food done right. The bone marrow lost me. Cooked well, but buried under too many microgreens and then oddly topped with tortilla chip strips. No smokiness either. It felt more confused than cohesive. Where it really started to miss was the overall approach. A lot of "the chef intends this..." type explanations. It ends up feeling like the food insists upon itself instead of just letting you enjoy it. That's the bigger issue. This place exists in a space where I don't think most people want to meet it. Not casual enough to relax, not refined enough to justify the performance. Bottom line: good drinks, great pot pie, but the experience tries a little too hard.

There was a good size crowd there which added to the experience because everyone was enjoying their delicious beers and it was great meeting people. It felt like a community gathering place. It's a big place so it can handle a lot of people without it feeling overly crowded. There was live music on the upstairs level that everyone was enjoying. The beers were fantastic. It's a challenge to decide what beer you want because there is a lot of delicious options. I went with the ESB because it's a great style of beer you can't often find. Others in our group recommend their Hazy IPA. Easily a 5 star rating. Make sure to visit this amazing brewery in Batavia. Russ & Jan Livonia, MI

A good amount of choices, whether it's light or a strong one that will kick ass. They also have a food menu, with basics such as pretzels and snacks. For the most part it's good. It's located in an old building downtown that has a couple levels. The upstairs is often used for private events like parties. If it's not available then it's hard to get a seat anywhere. The seats at the bar fill up, and there's only a few tables. It's about $7 a pint. There's a few of the more stronger ones that cost more though. Best one we had the last time was the 3 Amigos Imperial Stout. Full bodied and thick as a brick too. There's notes of ancho chilis, cacao nibs, cinnamon, and vanilla. Also got something to eat. It's $8 for the Bavarian Pretzel. Helps to absorb the alcohol. They also have chips and salsa among the food options. Got to add it to the list of breweries that seem to be everywhere in this city. It's located on Shumway Avenue in a historic old building full of history. This is a popular place to have private events or whatever.

So we moved to another table and it also wobbled. I propped a folded napkin to steady the table. Our server was friendly and respectful, but slow. We ordered a Fried Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer. They were nice and crispy, but lacked seasoning -- salt, for example -- none! My wife ordered the strip steak. It was loaded with gristle; she had no choice but to leave partly chewed beef on her plate; gross, but necessary. I ordered the fish tacos. There was so much salad on these tacos, it rendered the fish non-existent; literally, I couldn't taste, or even find the fish. We finished with a slice of Creme Brûlée Cheesecake that was amazing!! Delicious! While Two Brother's beer is generally exceptional, and the atmosphere at the Roundhouse is quite interesting, their food sucks. They need a new chef!!

I've been to Abbington's NYE, it was $50 more but you get a hell more. Never will I go to Two Brothers for any meal or event. If there was a minus star for this even they got it.
