Craft'd is a one and done for my household. In these trying times we really want to do our part in supporting local businesses, but what we received today was nothing short of a major disappointment. On paper, Craft'd presents interesting sounding options in an area that is generally lacking of variety. We decided to order several different items to feed 7 people. That being said, there was not one single item that was finished completely and the rest of it went to the bin (as much as we hate the idea of wasting food). Our order: - Chicken Nachos: really clumpy and gritty cheese sauce reminiscent of wallpaper paste. Poor ratio of toppings to chips, chicken was like jerky. Pineapple was the only redeeming quality. - Wings: both sauces were not good. How does one mess up Hot Honey? The Carolina reaper sauce was salty. Chicken? Dry. - Meatloaf: huge portion... of a dry and mealy mess. The frizzled onions were the best part. The chipotle ketchup "glaze" is a misnomer. - Chicken and French Toast: lost for words... chunks of dry (I'm spotting a theme at this point) chicken and pineapple salsa doused over burnt toast that just tastes like cinnamon raisin bread. - Cheeseburger w/ bacon: no condiments to be seen - dry patties that had at least been seasoned with fries that were flaccid and grey. Hint: the fry oil might need to be changed. - Cobb salad: standard salad with the addition of their sugar bacon which I can only describe as "semi burnt sweet bacon sand". The carrot shreds looked old. Hard boiled eggs were the best part. We decided this was the most edible item we ordered, but still didn't finish it... Honestly didn't bother contacting the restaurant because the other (honest) reviews seem consistent with our experience which leads me to believe this is a standard Craft'd is okay with. We just will not be ordering again in the future. read more

I love this place! The patio is dog friendly (but I think they should have a small menu for dogs too, and they don't). They hands down make the best Old Fashioned I've ever had. It's called Filthy King. The Cobb Salad, made with their incredible bacon candy, is my go to favorite. 4 people could share the delicious Guinness Cake. Definitely give this place a try! read more

Good taplist, but the food....meh The burger patty tasted and looked like it was a Costco frozen burger. Those are fine when I grill at home, but not when I pay $15 for a burger in a restaurant. The waffle fries were good. The bun was also kind of a let down. The Brussels Sprout Salad seemed like it came from a bag like you'd find at Aldi or Costco. We got grilled chicken with the salad, but I'm pretty sure it was processed, pressed chicken that wasn't grilled in the restaurant. The pretzel and cheese appetizer was just okay. The cheese was pretty good. The pretzel balls are the ones you buy in the plastic tub at the grocery store. The restaurant serves them room temperature. The kids ordered burgers and popcorn chicken. The kettle chips are good and most of the kids liked the food. Tom was a good waiter and the restaurant is really nice. Plenty of TVs and it's HUGE. The food just really isn't good so I don't think we'll be back. Which is too bad because I wanted to really like this spot. read more

This is our first time here, the atmosphere was awesome. It took us a minute to understand that they were have trivia night. I would have rather heard the Stanley cup Championship game broadcaster. I ordered the regular burger with cheese and fries. The burger was delicious. My husband got the meatloaf and he cleaned his plate. We had a great waiter, he was quick with our drinks and cleaning the plates off our tables. Bonus, he was cute. I love the shirts they have for staff and they are for purchase for customers. Although a tad disappointed in the variety and availability of the craft beer menu (they were out of our first 2 choices!), we are huge fans of the food menu here. Lots of great options with some comfort foods skillfully executed (meatloaf is killer and mac-n-cheese is done right) along side some more diverse items like candied bacon, poutine and Italian beef rolls. Our party enjoyed the salads too and were only a tad disappointed in a somewhat bland signature coffee-rubbed burger. And while we didn't get our first beer choices, even the most finicky can find something they enjoy as there are a number of excellent bottle choices. My husband and I have visited Craft'd twice since we moved to Joliet. We love it. The first time we came we brought our daughter on a Sunday afternoon, and the second time just the two of us. Food was amazing! Definitely recommend the Italian beef rolls. Also had the boneless wings which were amazing as well. If you order the Nashville hot chicken sandwich I recommend putting the sauce on the side bc it is hot! Service isn't terrible but nothing to boast about. I really enjoy going to Craft'd. The food is good and service is solid. Last night, my friend and I had the best server, Nick. He was so polite and helpful. We never had to ask for anything. Here is where his service really excelled. I asked about one of the t-shirts near the entrance. He said they only had the one hanging up. He asked what size I wanted and proceeded to get a ladder and check the one hanging. Wow, was I impressed. And best of all, it was the right size. What a great experience. read more

Not sure what happened to this place. Used to see owners and management all the time. Always had the Cubs, Bulls, Bears, Sox games on. Now I've been told every excuse from "we can't put a game on audio because other fans will complain" to "the audio is only in spanish and we can't fix it". Both lies as I've been here during MNF, Bears, Cubs, and various other games on audio. Haven't seen an owner or manager here in sometime. Tonight, the TouchTunes wasn't even on for the patio patrons. It is just okay. It is cool that you can have your dogs there on the patio. The environment is neat in the summer so you can sit outside but inside the music is cranked up and it is hard to have a conversation. The food is just okay and the service is slow. read more

Felt the need to slam glasses on our table over and over and just breeze by. Walked away from our table numerous times while we were trying to talk to him. . Just had the worst attitude for no reason. Businesses are really struggling during this time. I would think everyone with the chance to earn money would not have such a poor attitude. People kept recommending this bar to me until we finally went today and it was really good. I was told specifically their drinks are really good here and they were. My favorite was the strawberry coconut alcoholic beverage. It is pretty spacious and there were multiple TVs to watch sports from. Everyone was wearing a mask . I did notice this is one of those restaurants that are more lenient on the mask wearing around the server. No complaints there; it honestly gets annoying having to keep pulling it back up in between bites of your food every time the waiter checks up on you so I definitely appreciate that they are more lenient! read more

Came in with some friends on a Saturday night and had to wait about 25 minutes for a table. We grabbed a seat at the bar (we got lucky, cause the place was packed) and the bartender greeted us right away. Their beer list is impressive! So many different options with a TON on draft. We enjoyed a round and the host came over to let us know that our table was ready. The tables are pretty roomy, but the benches are very long so your back doesn't touch the back of the booth and it was a little uncomfortable. I t was pretty busy and you could tell that our waitress was a bit flustered but she came by and got our order put in. I got a martini off of their cocktail menu called the Dirty Bacon. It was essentially a dirty martini topped with a piece of their candied bacon. While the bacon was delicious, I don't think it really paired well with a dirty martini, and the martini itself could use a little splash of vermouth. For dinner I got the Margarita Ville Whitefish (Seasonal whitefish lightly floured and seared, with sauteed shrimp and bruschetta in a white wine sauce served over brown rice). The fish was dry and burnt on one side but the shrimp and toppings on it were really good. My husband ordered the cheddar brat burger (2 Brat patties Wisconsin style, topped with caramelized onions and spicy brown mustard) and said it was pretty good. It seemed like there was a lot of commotion when they started to set up for the incoming band and it was hard to talk over all of the noise. All in all it was a good experience, and i'll be coming back to try some of the other food (that all looked delicious) when it's a little less busy. read more

There's no way the pictures I took do justice to what I experienced when I was in town on Tuesday night. I don't want to insult what I tasted by an inadequate picture (kinda like taking a picture of the Sistine Chapel with your cell phone; you just don't do that). Here's my bold proclamation: The Peanut Butter & Pig burger is the best hamburger I've ever had in my entire life. I'm 40. I've been eating burgers since before I developed memories. This is the best burger I've ever eaten, ever. It's the perfect blend of sweet, savory, juicy, and just all around amazing. Pretzel bun, double patty, maple sugar covered perfectly cooked bacon (aka "pig candy"), and the juice of some mythical well of happiness that seeps through it. I also ordered their signature salad as a side. More pig candy = more winning We stayed for a while and chatted with Holly and Josh at the bar (with sweet Linda hustling around the place like a hurricane of kindness), and Josh recommended the Hot Chicken and French Toast. Since we had made room visa vie our good friends known as booze and time, my friend and I split one between us, with sweet potato fries as the side. The extremes are bold on this, and as spicy as it is, it's impossible to stop eating because it's so damn tasty. The sweet potato fries came in handy as they were delicious and provided relief to the heat. We also had an Uber Eats customer cancel an order, so they asked if we wanted the Brussel sprouts. The menu says "lightly oiled and seasoned", but fortunately that's an inadequate description. They had sat out for a little so they were soggy, but they were STILL amazing. More of the sweet/spicy contrast. If I had won the $1.4B lottery, I'd invest at least $20m in this company to get this to as many people as possible. 1st visit here was slightly disappointing. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and mayo and hand cut fries. The chicken was smothered in oregano and not at all edible. We popped in here on what seemed like a slow night for drinks. Two guys in our group who are big eaters ordered but only ate half of their burgers. One was very greasy and the burger sat in a puddle of grease. When asked about gluten free options the server said "I don't know much about gluten free food but I know you can have our burgers because they're served on potato rolls." Clearly I passed on the roll that was not gluten free despite it being called a potato roll. With regard to our server, she was nice but truly was the worst server I've encountered in a long time. The ambiance was fine. The booths were really uncomfortable! Either the table was too small or the booths needed to be pushed together.
