This is the best Mexican restaurant that opened in this area in a long time. We have went to many over the years and this place has the most authentic and delicious food. The service is outstanding and the food is so fresh. They make great drinks as well and the price is reasonable. We go here quite often that the waitress knows our name and even the drinks we love. Checked their online menu before going and it matched there in house menu. When I got the bill the price of the taco dinner is $3 more $14.99 Instead of menu price 11.99 told the server she still charged me $14.99 That very shady business practice. Food here is pretty good. Very flavorful and fresh. I especially like their steak and carnitas. They also have really good refried beans. I only docked them a star because their prices on their menu are lower than what they actually charge you. They say they are working on updating the menus. But in the meantime they are being misleading with their prices. Hopefully they get it fixed soon. I'll still come back but ask for the current prices before ordering. read more

When you first walk in it's very inviting,great music playing and the decor was great. The wait staff was very attentive and always kept our drinks full. After our drinks we ordered the food. Went there for the first time yesterday. I was not expecting much as it is always a miss when looking for authentic tasting Mexican food in Plainfield. Well, let me just say that as soon as we walked in, we knew it would be good by just the aroma. Ordered steak taco dinners for myself and myson, steak burrito for my daughter and Al pastor tacos for the hubby. They most definitely did not disappoint! They are probably some of the best we have had since moving out here. Full of flavor, real meat, and excellent rice and beans. The salsas were also very good. We will definitely be back. My only reason for giving it a 4 out of 5 is because of their menus not reflecting the correct price when I was charged. At least a $3 difference on each item. Tried Taco Loco for the first time last night. It was outstanding. Enjoyed the taco dinner of 2 pollo and 1 ground beef Mexican style (you can have them American style if you want or combine Mexican and American style). Came with beans and rice. Delicious. Portions were perfect. My wife had the chicken enchiladas and she enjoyed them as well. None of the food tasted like it was premade and just heated up. Everything tasted very fresh. Early lunch on Saturday and the Mexican restaurant sounded good. Four of us went in for the first time not knowing what to expect as it looked small and fast foody. A couple people came in to pick up take out. We ate in and had good service. The steak burrito was sooo good. You can get a burrito with or without the rice and beans. My grandson and I had the delicious steak burrito. His father enjoyed the tostada and my husband had sope for the first time. Everything came out hot and fresh. All very good. Top choice in the area, I've ordered a few times now and had it delivered and tried a few different menu items. Overall, good portions, great quality steak for the tacos! The rice and beans are decent. Al pastor isn't my favorite here but it does get the job done with the salsa verde if you've got that craving. Quesabirria is a great choice as well, can be slightly greasy but the quality of meat is good and the consome itself isn't overly greasy like some places. Additionally the horchata isn't bad and the chicken tamales are good with sour cream and extra salsa. It definitely has that fresh and home cooked vibe. Would recommend for a quick and tasty meal.
