If you enjoy craft beer, you will love this place! I don't enjoy craft beer and I still have a great time every time I'm at Craft+Carry. The service is always great. Everyone is so kind, always willing to let you sample a few drinks to make sure you make the right choice. It's fun and cheerful in Craft+Carry. Wednesdays they have Trivia, I may or may not have won a time or two hehe . During the warmer months they keep the front windows open and it is so nice to hear the city as you sip your beer. Ok, I could give this place a 5, but the reason I deduct one is that I really want to be able to have a bite with my brew, so the lack of a kitchen pulls it down. They do allow you to bring food from outside, but that means you have to leave to get it, and, well, I really don't want to go out in the cold between my beers. That said - if I lived in NYC this would definitely be one of my go-to spots. Such a great place to hang out at. Great brews, both on tap and in the bottle fridges - you are sure to find something you like here. Crew is nice and welcoming, just the right amount of chatty to make it feel like you've been here forever, yet leave you alone when you want to. I dropped by on a Sunday afternoon, not much of a crowd to speak of, but over the hours I spent there was a good rotation of folks of a wide variety. Nice little neighborhood spot. Craft+Carry is a local chain of beer bars and bottle shops in New York City. On a pub crawl of Hell's Kitchen, a must-stop bar was this location and we weren't disappointed. It was mostly quiet while we were there, with just a handful of people enjoying pints. Their selection was fantastic; I wish I had a place of this caliber near me. The front was open to the nice weather, the vibe of exposed brick and cozy lighting was inviting. The rainbow of colors inside the brightly lit beer coolers made me realize I'd be spending some money here getting goodies to take home. It's larger than it looks, with seating going to the back including game tables. Up front along the right wall is the bar; the bartender that evening was super friendly and told us it was one of his last nights in NYC before heading home to Australia. Their prices were easy to find on bottles and cans, reasonable for the quality and large selection they had. I ordered a few flights to take advantage of their varied tap list and wasn't disappointed in any either. It was here our party split for the evening, so I was grateful for some of them taking my big beer haul right back to the hotel. Cool new beer place in Hell's Kitchen! I've never been to Craft+Carry because I've never passed by one until today. There are so many varieties in the fridges, along the wall, and on tap! I got a flight (4 for $16) and they also let us sample a few others. My favorites were the sours and the mead. I sat at the bar area, but there are tables and chairs set out towards the back and throughout the space that I believe had uno and another game on them. The staff is nice and the establishment is clean and has a cozy vibe for me. I'll be back to try some other beers! read more

Service was top notch. Bartenders knew their beers INCLUDING MANY IN THE CABINET!! Kudos to youdos. Draft beer list did a good job describing the beers. Only downside was for the beer in the case, a long list describing the beer and the brewery (location and maybe history) would be very helpful. Although I buy beer base on the label not the description. Also if you drink the cans on site you pay a premium. All in all nice chill spot with a ton of beer. If you want some really good quality craft beers, this is a really good place to go. They have beers on tap in addition to beers in their coolers. The number of taps is about 15-20 as I recall, and all of them are pretty good in my experience. The folks who work there are pretty nice, too, generally, though they have had some real schmendricks. While their selection of beers in the coolers is decent, the charge to drink it there (I can't remember the term for that) is pretty high. The selection in the coolers is average to decent. The last thing is the C-movies constantly playing. It is kind of funny to watch the awful movies that somebody someday made thinking they were making a good movie. I guess if you're tanked, the movies may not be so bad. read more

This is a pretty new spot in the hells kitchen and I hope to see a grow in popularity very quickly! It sure deserves it. They've got a great selection of craft beers on draft and cans. Inside has plenty of bar and table space plus free Skee ball! They have a beer flight for $16 where are you choose 4 draft beers and get 5 ounces worth of each. It's a good deal because most of their drafts are on the expensive side around $12. Their cans have to go and to stay prices. The to go prices are actually cheaper and you can find craft cans for as low as four dollars. There are several TVs in the bar to watch a game on. And the bartenders are also super cool to talk to if you don't just want to watch TV. They were very knowledgeable about the beers they had and very helpful with picking something I would like. As we walked through Hells Kitchen, we visited Craft + Carry in Hell's Kitchen. I enjoyed Gun Hill Brewery's Sunshine Patriot beer which is a hazy IPA with notes of citrus and tropical fruit. I was in a mechanical wheelchair, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They made sure that I had a comfortable place to sit and that I had easy access to the bar. The beer selection was excellent, and we both found something we really enjoyed. We also liked the atmosphere of the bar, which was lively but not too loud. You can carry out or drink it there. Overall, we had a great experience at Craft + Carry and would definitely recommend it to others. read more

I saw this place was opening about a month ago, and I couldn't wait to check it out. They officially opened about 3 weeks ago, and I finally went to check it out. This place didn't disappoint! I've passed their Gramercy location many times, but never went inside. I'm glad they've opened this location in my neck of the woods. They have about 24 beers on tap. Additionally, they have refrigerators on the side with literally hundreds of beers. You could have new beers every time you visit! They have lots of local brews from places Kings County Brewery and LIC. I tried one of the best IPAs ever from Vermont's own The Alchemist Brewery - a highly coveted beer according to the brew masters at C+C. If you get a beer from the fridge to drink in the bar, you have to pay slightly extra from the cost of carrying it out. Almost like a dine-in fee. The only thing I wish they had was bar food like pretzels or wings. They have packaged snacks like jerky and potato chips, but it would be nice to have some hot options. Maybe C+C can build a relationship with one of the local restaurants to allow them to deliver food to its patrons. Definitely check it out! Fair warning, it can get pretty busy on Friday evenings. read more

Very weird experience here. The beer selection was top notch, so I'm not complaining about that. It's the only thing giving this place 2 stars. My lack of satisfaction was based upon the service. I sat at the bar - it wasn't crowded - and I have never felt so invisible in my life. I practically had to pounce on someone to recognize my existence in order to get a beer after having sat there for at least 10 to 15 mins. Again - the place was not crowded or busy. The bartenders just didn't seem to care. If it weren't the fact that I was meeting a friend there who had already started drinking her beer, I would have left. When I wanted to pay at the end of our stay - I again had to beg! And again they weren't busy! I just think the bar tenders didn't care. I won't be back. read more

This has been my main spot for months and months since we moved to HK. First and foremost-- the beer selection is incredible. They always have a wide variety on tap and they are always the highest caliber microbrews. The staff is equally delightful, always down to chat, super down to earth, and very funny people. This place is awesome! Went last night to check it out and I have to say I'm excited to have something like this so dangerously close to my apartment. To start, there's 24 beers on tap to choose from, and countless bottles and cans available to pour at the bar or take home (I definitely took advantage). Selection is varied and unique and I only assume will be rotating as time goes on. The space is exceptionally clean and quite modern, but doesn't feel cold or unwelcoming in the slightest - the bar is nice and big and the table selection is good for a variety of group sizes. Some people in the back room were playing Uno (they may have more games but I forgot to see for myself). Overall very cozy and laid-back vibe. There's multiple tvs that were playing all kinds of movies (this time was 80s B-movies, which was awesome). Lastly, the service was outstanding. The bartender was super knowledgeable and just an all-around friendly dude. They also encourage patrons to try little sips of the tap beers before you commit. Flights and growlers are also available for purchase. I felt bad because it was a little quiet for a Friday, but I'm really hoping the word gets out soon because I had a great time and so will you!
