I've visited this location many times over the years as my mom leaves not far. Cracker Barrel tends to offer a good quality meal at a good price. I personally love the breakfast more than anything else and will order breakfast for dinner as well. The pancakes are always a solid choice as they are nice and fluffy and a little crisp from the butter. The fact they have different syrup options including real maple syrup is also a plus for me. The meats can be over cooked or under cooked depending on the cook. This last visit they had a berry tea that was fantastic and our wonderful server gave us a cup to go as well. Service is usually pretty good. Unfortunately when it's busy, service can kind of lack. This last visit we were sat at a table that hadn't been cleaned by the hostess. There was hash browns and sausage on the floor and when the poor server saw this, she went to go get a broom to clean. She felt terrible. No one looked at the chairs though, which also had food, so I swept it on the floor. It was terrible, but I felt bad for the server as well. The store is fun to look around at, the biggest issue I have is that there is one line for paying your bill and for the store checkout. The line can be long and take quite some time. They recently added a barcode at the bottom of your receipt to pay online, however I don't think most of the crowd has noticed so the lines are long. This was my first time at this location today. I decided to go here for lunch because I was in the area today. I managed to find a parking spot upon arrival. The food at this location was looking real good today. The service was really good today as well. For lunch I decided to have their chicken fried chicken topped with cheddar cheese. To my surprise it was very good, and the outside was very crunchy as well. The cheese was okay and I wish that it had more cheese on it. The broccoli was very good and steamed good as well too. We ordered food from this CB thru Uber Eats. The food was delicious. The sausage biscuits and gravy, the hash brown casserole and the fried apples were all amazing. My sister got the catfish and she too thought it was amazing. We had one minor snafu, she was missing her cole slaw and condiments. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager, I wasn't upset I just wanted to let them know what happened. The manager was very gracious and understood that it's the little details that makes the meal. So she put my name in her recovery book and we can go in and eat and get a free meal. The restaurant was clean and the waitress was very friendly and personable. She made sure our coffee cup was always full and we had plenty of water. My husband ordered the pancake tacos and said they were very good. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were delicious. The outsides were crispy, and the insides were light and fluffy. I can truly say, I used to travel thru Tennessee and loved to eat at Cracker Barrel, with that old country feel and fire going. Now I can truly say I won't ever stop a one again The campfire chick dinner was so full of preservatives that my body should be better than botox, my husband's chic and dumpling had so much plus a pound of salt in the chicken and dumplings it would brine your tongue. The corporation that decided to update and change the food to get a younger crowd in, we'll I can say I've never seen Cracker Barrel so empty and lack of customers unless it's at 6 am and they are just opening but people was starting to come in. Well, my wife and I decided to go to Cracker Barrel. We were seated promptly at the back of the restaurant. The waitress came over in few minutes and took our lunch order. We ordered the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and pinto beans. Well, our order arrived in about 10 minutes. The chicken was nice and hot and tasted pretty good, my mashed potatoes were on a piece of paper that was sitting on a plate and the potatoes were cold, I could've picked up the potatoes with my fork in one swoop. The pinto beans were swimming in juice. I didn't order pinto bean soup! I brought it to the attention of the waitress and she replied I know It's been like that for a while. Family gathering for breakfast and this was the place everyone could agree on. Signed onto the app to put our name on the waiting list. It stated 5 minutes (which is odd for a Sunday morning - but ok?!). When we got there we were told the app was wrong and it would be 15-20 min. They are not separating the tables, they are not skipping tables in between diners, the store itself is just as packed with stuff as it was pre-covid. Server was prompt to take our drink orders, but not so prompt on refills for several at the table. Food came out fairly quickly, but we were missing several items at the table. Grits were missing for a couple, no fried apples for anyone, etc. It did take a bit to get the missing items, which was okay since we had other food to eat, but still should have come out faster. Gravy was not hot, biscuits did not seem to be as fresh as normal, seemed as if maybe they were day-old? Eggs were rubbery and not sure how scrambled eggs come out as one flat pancake looking piece. Last time I'll order scrambled for sure. Grandson loved the french toast with blueberry syrup. Everyone else unfortunately had something that wasn't quite right. Ham was very salty, bacon was limp. Usually you can count on a hot fresh breakfast at CB. Maybe not fancy nor gourmet, but satisfactory. We recently had the unpleasant experience of coming across a waitress named Tabitha but an amazing manager John. We had asked for our biscuits multiple times before our meal arrived and she was nowhere in sight for a good 20 minutes. She had FINALLY arrived with our biscuits 2 minutes before our meal came out. We had asked if the biscuits are an appetizer and why we were receiving them right before our food. She had continued to be a smart a** and give an attitude throughout our time there. We had caught her giving the nastiest looks from across the room and continue to egg on the issue. She continued to argue like her goal was to make us look like idiots. When I asked someone about it she said we can't do anything about it! I may be wrong but it seems like it would make sense to have the work done after hours. We visited Cracker Barrel last weekend for a quick family get together. We had been craving biscuits and gravy and they usually have the best. We used the app and put ourselves on the wait list. The app said 5 minutes wait time but when we got there it was more like 15. Not a big deal as we used that time to look at everything in the shop. I ordered just the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs over medium as that is all I had been craving. They were good but the gravy wasn't very hot so I was a little disappointed. I also ordered a vanilla latte which was okay but not great. The food came out fairly quickly but getting anything extra took awhile such as cream for the coffee and parts of the order that didn't come out when the rest was delivered. Both the meatloaf and gravy are easy items to quickly make and are Staples on the menu. This was such a disappointing experience. But I said could have been a large crowd it happens. So we went back tonight but never again. First they run a Turkey dinner daily special. And it's price is Approx 4.00 more than most than items on the menu. The idea of a daily special is it's less money. So I order the special .... So the Turkey? Burnt on top and tough. Dressing was tasteless string beans? Mushy and cold. Broccoli as cold. My wife had chicken and dumplings. We've had this dish in the past. Her serving was about half the size and not much chicken. Well! They've also raised prices. With tip 30.00. For that amount I can get two shrimp dinners at Corky bells. Actually less than 30.00. Cracker Barrel don't need me. We arrived but had to wait for a table to be bussed and cleaned before we were sat. Once we were sat we waited for about 10 minutes, with no one coming to the table to take our drink order. I had to ask the host if our table had a server. The server showed up several minutes later and said no one had told her that the table had been sat. We immediately placed our order since we had plenty of time to look at the menu. Our food took approx 20 minutes to be brought to the table and the order was wrong. We were so frustrated by that point that we just ate what was served. During the time we were eating, our server only came by the table once to see if we needed anything. Wow.... I ordered a roast beef dinner and what I got is pictured below. It was a very old, grey in color, piece of meat. As soon as I attempted to eat it, I had to spit it out. It had a really bad pungent taste. The waitress was utterly unapologetic and really seemed like she saw nothing wrong with the meat I was served. I had to ask for more meat, preferably fresh. I was again brought old meat. My fiancé could even smell it from across the table and said it smelled nasty. I could not finish it. Our waitress did not care.
