I really liked how it looked, It gave off rustic vibes. The wait wasn't long at all before they seated me. The mango margaritas was very delicious and the salt around the rim also tasted like mango. The shrimp and crawfish omelette was very creamy well seasoned. We got some beignets they were alright for FL. Definitely come back to try different items on the menu next time.

Service was great! There was no wait and the food came out quick. We went on a Saturday around 1pm for a late breakfast. It was clean and the sausage was good! My daughter got the pound cake french toast, she ate it in 15min lol my eggs were okay. Next time I will try the eggs Benedict :)

Pet friendly. Great service always. Food is always good. I never had to wait long to get seated!

Wow I can tell you the breakfast was amazing egg well done and sausages very juicy, all the food was super! I can tell you the place is super clean and well put together with the tables setup. Our servers I'm very pleasant and always checking on us, I'm sorry I don't remember her name but she was excellent. We was celebrating mama birthday and she brought some beignets as a birthday courtesy.

First time here snd curious about it bec one of these cafe are opening near me in Whole Foods Plaza. This cafe is open inside/outside seating too and has an industrial feel to it. Server was friendly and brought their version of a beignet for us to try, not even close but they were warm. I skipped my eggs this morning so I was looking forward to some protein; after much deliberation I picked Shrimp Benny. It was SO tasty! Two poached eggs over focaccia bread (but not to big which was fine since I'm watching carbs) with mushrooms, red peppers..lots of little shrimp in a wonderful sauce! I had to ask for a spoon to get the sauce! I appreciated the estimated calories so I could make a chose that fit my lifestyle! I look forward to it opening near me!

We had a big party(10) in the morning on a Saturday. 4 of us arrived 30m early to secure a long table. We waited by the door for 30m for the rest of our party to arrive because they wouldn't seat us despite our table being prepared already. They don't do reservations so keep that in mind. No other large parties showed up, it was just us. The food was average, the drinks were pretty good. I ordered a strawberry mimosa pitcher to split with a friend. The drink was very sweet. The service was just ok. With all of the better brunch options in the area, we probably won't be coming back.

This was my second time back to the us location ever. I had a taste for the sausage and gravy meal. I had the most difficult time ordering online. The meal comes With sausage links?!? I wanted them subbed for bacon. I typed in the comments the modification of the order. When arrived I only had gravy and biscuit, there was no sausage in the gravy. I asked to speak to a manger who made it right. I don't care for sausage links over bacon. I got to keep the potatoes, but I would suggest calling in the order instead. Food was great. Orange juice was juicing. Lol

Outside and inside seating. I really wish I remembered my server name because he was great. Very attentive and patient with our indecisiveness. Shirley temples were delicious. My omelet was really good but I found out I'm not a fan of goat cheese. The girls loved their breakfast as well.

Visited Another Broken Egg Cafe this week. Very modern and clean design inside and outside seating is available as well. Nicely done. If there are any complaints, it's that the tables in some areas are very close to others. Great selection of breakfast/brunch foods. I think anyone would find something they like. I ordered the Supreme omelette with a side of Bourbon Street pancakes. The extra 2 stack of Bourbon St pancakes was a great deal and was really enough for two. Really good food at a reasonable price. Recommend. Our server was also very good and courteous.

I have mixed feelings about this place. On one hand the bar service is great, the table service not so much. Some menu items are great, some not so much. I got the bourbon pancakes which were delicious, but I asked for over medium eggs. The eggs were dang near raw. Not even over easy but raw. I liked the BLTA sandwich, but the Avocado on it was so brown it didn't even look like avocado. My husband enjoyed his brunch jambalaya. The strawberry mimosa is yummy. Not a bad breakfast spot, but not blow your mind either. Very mid.

The service and portion sizes were great, but I didn't find the food to be anything special. I ordered the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes, which are topped with fresh blueberries. The pancakes come with eggs and a breakfast meat on the side, but they can substitute meat with another side, I chose potatoes. Overall, the meal was just okay - typical diner food. I ordered a regular coffee with cream on the side and thought it was priced a little high at $4, though they do offer refills. The inside of the cafe seemed a little cramped and busy, so I opted for their covered outdoor seating, which offers a nice respite for solo diners.

The whipped goat cheese paired with fresh basil is a home run--it adds an unexpected brightness that perfectly balances the rich bread pudding. The Neptune Beach location is my personal favorite. We came in through the back since we wanted to sit outside. It was a little hot, but the outdoor area was still enjoyable with a big shade tree in the middle. Definitely a good vibe on the patio. We ordered our food and, for how slow it was inside, the wait felt longer than it should have been. The restaurant wasn't very busy at all, with more people sitting outside than inside. Unfortunately, most of the food came out lukewarm. My roast beef sandwich and potatoes were barely warm, like they'd been sitting for a while, and the bottom bread was completely soaked. Our daughter's grilled cheese came out with the cheese not even melted, so we sent that back along with my sandwich. The salmon and quinoa also arrived lukewarm. The fried fish was cooked too long in the fryer and wasn't great. The bright spot was the short rib tacos my wife ordered. She said those were really good and probably the best thing we had. I do want to give credit where it's due. Our server was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. He genuinely saved the experience for us and handled everything with a great attitude. Bathrooms were also clean, which I always appreciate. Overall, the experience was average. Not a top pick for me, but I'd be open to giving it another try in the future to see if things improve. Just wanted to leave an honest review of our visit.

This was my first time really giving matcha a fair shot, and I was surprised by how much I liked it. The flavor was earthy and nutty, really smooth and comforting. I personally didn't taste much cherry or vanilla, but the matcha itself was good enough that I didn't mind at all. Service was pretty standard--quick, friendly, and easy, which is exactly what you want when you're grabbing a drink and settling in. What I loved most was the atmosphere. It's such a good mix of people--some working, some chatting, some just enjoying their coffee. There are plenty of outlets, lots of space, and it's definitely one of those spots where you can bring your laptop and actually get things done without feeling awkward or rushed. They also have food if you plan on staying awhile, which is always a plus. Overall, Southern Grounds feels like one of those dependable coffee shops you keep in your rotation--good drinks, comfortable vibes, and a great place to park yourself for a few hours. I'd definitely come back... and yes, I'd order matcha again.

Upon entering the business, I was greeted and was surprised to learn they serve dark roast coffee this late in the day. The seating area is divided into two sides separated by the counter and kitchen. I opted for a dark roast with cream in a mug. Took my number and looked for a two top table among the mix of high school study groups, after school snacks and business meetings. Coffee came quickly and was hot and bold. No real complaints other than parking.

Our visit to Biscottis in Jacksonville's Avondale neighborhood managed to do both. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and seated immediately, and the atmosphere had a welcoming energy that made the restaurant feel like a true neighborhood gathering place. Susan ordered the Quiche Lorraine, and after the first bite we both knew it was something special. The crust was delicate and buttery while the filling was rich and perfectly balanced. It was so impressive that we awarded it our Culinary Duo Best of the Best dish recognition, which is something we reserve for truly standout dishes. Peter went in a different direction and ordered the Sweet Potato Pancakes with house made white cheddar hash browns. The pancakes were flavorful and comforting, and the hash browns were crispy with bold cheddar flavor that made them impossible to stop eating. Another thing we appreciated was learning that Biscottis carries the Slow Food First Coast Snail of Approval, recognizing restaurants that support sustainable agriculture and local food traditions. The service throughout the visit was cheerful and attentive, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. If you enjoy restaurants that combine great brunch dishes, incredible desserts, and a lively neighborhood atmosphere, Biscottis is definitely worth visiting.

Pretentious and overrated…read more I wanted to like this place - it has such a hype. But the food is terrible. The burger is greasy/wet, it is drenched in a bland cheese sauce, the meat is underseasoned, and the patty has no sear. Definitely not worth anything near the $21 cost. The salmon BLT is served on bread that is cut so thick you're mostly just eating old/stale bread, and the sandwich is also greasy. Their french fries come drenched in a disgusting garlic oil and cheap grated parmesan. It's bad cooking dressed up to look fancy without any understanding of the basics. The restaurant fits as well. Its ugly artwork is accompanied by furniture that looks like it was ripped out of a Le Pain Quotidien. The cakes look amazing, and the bar is nicely designed and well stocked, but neither saves the drab surrealist-cafeteria vibe of this pretentious establishment.

My only complaint (and this may be specific to me) is that they did not have a cola flavored diet drink to offer. Yes, I admit, I need my Diet Coke with my meal.
