My wife & I just ate at the Cracker Barrel located in Foley Alabama and had the best server we've ever had at a Cracker Barrel. Her name was Alexa(is?). She was very outgoing with a great personality, courteous, and professional. She was very concerned about how we were enjoying meal and frequently brought us coffee refills. When we return to this location, we will definitely ask if she is working and, if so request one of her tables. Also, I love the traditional appeal of this Cracker Barrel... We ordered 2 kid meals and 2 adult meals. An hour and the kids food was delivered and eaten. I asked for a manger to check on the food for us. ( the kids were ready to leave) and finally the food came out and the order was wrong and items were missing. This was not the waitress's fault she was very nice. With no help from management no wonder Cracker Barrel is losing business. read more

I had the absolute worst experience at the Cracker Barrel in Foley Alabama. Matt the general manager is rude and has a careless attitude. I also heard the way he was talking to his employees, and let's just say, i wouldn't put up with that. the food is also very mediocre. my country fried steak and disgusting. Flo was my server that morning. Very terrible experience. She's unprofessional and her looks are too much for the atmosphere of the restaurant. overall, i think they should just close. read more

The food has gone so far downhill at Cracker Barrel. Scrambled eggs were dry and cold. The hash brown casserole was barely a tablespoon full and dry and flavorless. The waitress obviously forgot to put Our order in because we waited 52 minutes and all 4 tables around us who came in after got their meals before us. Definitely a one and done. read more

Started with the hostess. She would seat a couple and take her 10 mins to come back to seat the next ones. Then our waitress was so bad! She would bring our food in sections and we had to keep asking for the side of fruit, the hot sauce. Kept telling is that biscuits were coming out!...finally brought them to is as we had finished eating! Then we were going to buy two dresses that were on a rack that said "buy one get one half off"...the lady said someone out them on the wrong rack, so no, we could not get one at half off. Just a great way to end our vacation! Ugh!!! Will not eat there ever again! read more

My mom's favorite store. At least it wasn't crowded and people standing around like the Lakeville, MN store. I bought rhinestone slides, a smartie lollies and US Army small sign. Staff were very nice. read more

Ordered a thanksgiving catering meal for pickup a week in advance. It was supposed to be ready for pickup at 8pm. I got here at 7:58pm, told them I was here and they said it would be out soon. At 8:15 I asked them to check on it. They were obviously much more concerned about arguing amongst themselves to decide who would go ask the manager if they could leave than actually serving patrons. Once they finally brought out the food (it's cold food to be clear, it's just food to be reheated on Thanksgiving, it did not need to cook) at 8:51pm, the manager just handed it to me and walked away. No apology. No service recovery. Atrocious service and horrible experience. read more

We stopped in here while visiting my uncle. We arrived around mid morning and had no wait to be seated. We were quickly seated and ordered. We had great service. Food was exactly what it is at all Cracker Barrel stores. The country feel is the same across all Cracker Barrel stores. Kinda hit or miss. We've had varying levels of luck at this location. Tonight I ordered a double cheeseburger. The burger was $10.99 and apparently the 2nd patty was $8.79. When I asked the server he wasn't very helpful and we just wanted to go home and decided to not ask for a manager. Seems pretty excessive and if in fact that's the actual price they should ask if people are willing to spend $20 on a burger and that a second patty is nearly $9... read more

Last time I will ever go! First of all it stunk, walking by the kitchen smelled rotten, then a couple papers of copied paper for a menu, and Mac and cheese was burnt, and chicken pot pie almost black on top, and my dinner was disgusting. They can't stay open much longer. You should know when there are lines at other places, parking lot there was empty, there was a reason. I feel sorry for the people that work there. read more

It's a total crap shoot at this one. When it's good it's good. When it's not it's REALLY not!! The barrel is my favorite restaurant and out of all the ones I've been to this one ranks one of the lowest (flint Mi and bay city Mi being the winners of the worst) and there's no reason for it to rank this way. Ppl love coming here. A little extra effort and a smile goes a long way. Today I had Lacy and she was super kind and attentive. She did a great job. read more

The food was great. However, the service was okay. I was not happy with the front desk when we went to go use our gift card they scratched the PIN number off and told us we couldn't use the card and that we would have to call customer service to get the pin! Thankfully we had another gift card to use to pay for our meal. But I wanted to use the other gift card for the gift shop. So I got my husband to call customer service for the pin and they were closed. So we wasn't able to use the other gift card. Needless to say I am not a happy customer. The front desk didn't seem to care. read more

Unfortunately my fish and potatoes were cold, cold and butter congealed. The greens were warm and good I had also ordered the cornbread. It was refreshing to see that it wasn't the usual cake like kind, plus not the ultra sweet kind either. More bread like with a hint of sweetness. Delicious. The fish and potatoes had a nice flavor but unfortunately the cold food spoiled the experience. Since I was a guest of my sister I didn't say anything about the cold food. What a disappointment. Maybe when I return things will be better.

As other reviewers have mentioned there is a country store at the front of the building and this is also where you pay your bill after eating...I think this is done intentionally to get you to impulse shop on the way out. The food was good with the exception of the corn muffins which I found to be super bland. I had grilled catfish, fried okra, sweet potato casserole and baked potato. Was told 25 minutes to sit, ended up being 40 min. We were fine with that. Our waitress came and asked for our drink order and we went ahead and ordered our food as well. Brought our drinks right out. We ordered breakfast. Sat there for 40 minutes. Heard another waitress say they were out of hashbrown casserole among other things so my husband waved a waitress over to ask about our order and she said she didn't know where our food or waitress was.
