Just not very professional. Food sat under the warming lights too long and they couldn't even get our drinks right.

Food is good home cooking. Fried pork chops like mom used to cook. Service is good too. I wish they were open for supper.

Veggies and side Turnip greens Mashed potatoes Mac and cheese Cabbage Corn Rutabaga Pinto beans Green beens Rice Entrees Spaghetti Baked chicken Fried chicken Pulled pork Fried fish Buffalo Bites Chicken and Dumplings Chicken livers Also turnip soup Salad bar Rolls, cornbread and a bunch of desserts. One interesting thing is that while it is all you can eat, they serve it cafeteria style. So you tell them what you want and they put it on the plate. This must have changed since COVID. You used to be able to serve yourself. The food is good, but it taste like someone is cooking scared. Nothing had any seasoning. Nothing popped with flavor. No smoke on the pulled pork (I got outside meat to be able to taste it) Bland spaghetti, bland chicken and dumplings, bland greens, bland, bland, bland - except for the fried chicken and fried fish which were okay, compared to the rest. Service was not overly friendly, or even friendly either. Pretty much here's your seat, here's your drink. I would probably come back one more time. Definitely will not come back if the next time is like this time. 2 1-2 stars is what I would give it. Rounding up to 3 in memory of a place that used to be a lot better.

I was happy…read moreto find the Frankenstein and Wizard of Oz slots, but unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended. There are no table games here, and drink service is strictly automated via a button on the machines. On the positive side, the facility was very clean, and the staff we did encounter were friendly--though we rarely saw them. For dining, they have a food court setup for $20 a person that includes Italian, Asian, and American options with a fountain drink counter. A heads-up if you go on a "Senior Sunday" (ages 50+): the announcer was incredibly loud. Overall, it was nothing spectacular. Out of the three of us, only one friend walked away a winner, and even then, it was pretty minor.

The new terms and conditions, reduced comps, and other policy changes have made it feel like loyal customers simply aren't valued the way they once were. The biggest disappointment isn't whether you win or lose, that's part of gambling. It's the feeling that the overall guest experience has taken a step backward. For those of us who travel several hours to visit, the trip is becoming harder and harder to justify. When there are so many other options available, why make the drive? Biloxi, Mississippi, offers multiple casinos competing for your business, beautiful Gulf Coast views, excellent restaurants, better overall service, and a wider variety of entertainment. It feels like those properties are working to earn repeat customers instead of assuming they'll keep coming back. I understand that Wind Creek may still be convenient for people who live nearby, and if that's the case, it may still be worth an occasional visit. But for anyone making a long trip, I can no longer recommend it. There are simply better destinations that provide more value for your time and money. I hope Wind Creek takes a hard look at the direction it's heading. Loyal customers helped build its success, and many of us would like to see it become the destination it once was. Until then, I'll be spending my entertainment dollars elsewhere.

(I recommend doing that, especially during lunch.) One of my good friends sent recommendations. My husband got the French dip. I hesitate calling it a poboy because I'm from NOLA, and outside south Louisiana, it's just a sandwich . I got the grilled shrimp lunch special with fries. Honestly, spend a little more and get the platter. I'd get them fried, but I can't have gluten. I risked cross contamination and got the fries. They were absolutely worth it. Fortunately, I didn't have a reaction. Trevor was our server, and he was excellent. You could tell he knew the regulars and locals based on how he'd approach new diners. He also gave really good recommendations. The vegetable of the day was a casserole, and Trevor told my husband that was better than the fries. My husband inhaled that casserole. If you're an Elvis fan, request to sit at the table. Overall, I'd definitely come back. For being on Open Table, just know this is a casual restaurant on the bay. Nothing frilly - just good, southern cooking. We will be back!

The chargrilled oysters unfortunately came with quite a bit of shell, which made them difficult to enjoy--though we did manage to find some actual pearl in there, so small win and fun! The grilled fish and shrimp were noticeably overcooked, and my husband's fried shrimp leaned the same way, lacking that fresh, tender bite you hope for. Sides were decent but didn't particularly stand out for my grilled dinner. Husband said slaw and hush puppies were good, my green beans were delicious. Overall, it's a lovely place with great service, but the kitchen execution didn't quite match the setting. With a few tweaks, this could easily be a standout spot.
