1st visit to this location, we attended the Keith Sweat concert in 2024. Nice outdoor concert area with good seats where I stood up and enjoyed myself throughout the night. Most recent visit was to celebrate my birthday (2025). This was a girl's weekend with my mom. We shared the double queen with a fridge and nice seating area. A nice surprise when entering were the balloons and card by the staff along with my gifts from my mom. The bed was nice and soft and the bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. Once settled in, we went down to enjoy the food at the Market that has several food stations that is sure to satisfy your tastebuds and while not one to hit the machines heavily, I did take advantage of the free play. I plan to visit agin and maybe check out the movie theater, bowling alley or enjoy some time at the spa. read more

Been going to Windcreek for a while but it's been going downhill for a little bit now. My three biggest issues are wait times, malfunctioning machines, and panhandling IN the casino. I have hit a lot of jackpots in the years I have been going but the past year the wait times have been crazy. Longest I have waited recently was for over 25 minutes for a small hand pay. Secondly, the last few times I have gone I have had 3 different malfunctions and resets on machines where my money was trapped and had to wait over half an hour for the machine to reboot. And no I'm not one of these people who destroy the button when spinning. Lastly, I have had way too many people come up and ask for a handout or to "borrow a little" when I hit anything. I understand Atmore is an overall low income town but this is getting ridiculous. Either train security to look out for these things or offer solutions for clear addicts. Either way I'll be taking my business to Mississippi. Only 15 more minutes worth of a drive and WAY nicer accommodations. read more

Friendly front desk staff and clean rooms if you are in the area but the hotel is starting to show its age. Mold on the ceilings in the shower, cracked grout between the tiles, and 1/2 the machines in the gym were broken. Security is visible but I'm not sure of their function. People clearly high , drunk, possibly homeless, sleeping at the machines and random areas in the casino. Same guy camped out asleep near the elevators at 11pm as 5:30am. Another walking around crying that he lost $2,000, too many machines he wanted were out of order and his the AC in his suite not working. Definitely interesting people watching. read more

My wife and I aren't gamblers, but we love to unwind in a nice hotel and this hotel is great. Unfortunately, they filled up every opening at the spa with gambling guests so we weren't able to get a couples massage like we'd hoped. Firstly I've never had a bad experience until tonight it's Christmas and I'm just getting back to my room tonight I decided to bring my grandkids back with me so we made it at 9:55 pm we walked around outside to see the lights for a few minutes then we went to the room so it was like 10 something we wasnt even in the room for 10 before the front desk supervisor and 2 Guard came banging on the door a noise complaint mind you we just made it upstairs so I put on clothes and head back downstairs to make a complaint of my own the front desk supervisor Courtney came out mind you she was the one that came to my room so she proceeded to say that the lady said kids been keeping up noise for the last few days so I tell her if she would go watch the cameras she would see that no kids have been up here only tonight she pretty much did nothing for the inconvenience and her pretty much a-matter a fact Attitude so I called customer service and I will be going higher with this matter. read more

My girlfriend went to the Wind Creek Casino for dinner at what was supposed to be a buffet dinner. It turned out to be horrible. The only thing that was pretty good was rhe ribs and the brisket. The baked beans tastes that they were poured out of a can and put a little bit of barbecue sauce in them and they were cold. The potato salad was fake. It was small red potatoes cut into small chucks with some mayo and some other stuff that we didn't know what it was. The catfish was frozen and put in oil to fry and tasted horrible. The collard greens tasted like they came out of a can with no seasoning. The cornbread was dry like it had been sitting all day. It was not worth $ 32.00 each more like $ 10.00 at best. The only thing that pretty good was the cheesecake and the butter milk pie. The staff was friendly and helpful. I remember when this buffet was top notch. But since the remodel it has gone downhill. I have always wanted to attend the cooking class at the casino. A group of 16 senior travelers were instructed on grilling steak and shrimp on a salt block. How interesting and tasty. The salt blocks were heating on the gas stoves when we entered the class- 20 minutes on low and another 20 on medium before placing our salt and peppered steak and generously oiled with a combination of olive and canola oil. After steaks were done we grilled shrimp on the salt block. The group cut up assorted veggies and sautéed on the stove and placed a pan of fingerling potatoes in the oven to roast. We plated our food and returned to the classroom to eat lunch together. Our meal was completed with a delicious brownie sundae. Hoping to return again and join another class! read more

This review is for the Market which is supposedly their buffet. I'm visiting from Cali and this is the worse buffet I have ever been to. It's not really a buffet. They have stations where you order food and the employees give it to you like in a fast food restaurant. They have an Italian station where they have pizzas,pasta etc. the best thing there was the tiramisu. Then there's an Asian station. Sushi rice was hard and cold n their sushi. Couldn't eat it. They have apps and the only thing good there was the crab Rangoon. I got wonton soup and it was god awful. Then another station clucks and something else. Fried heaven. Corn dogs, hot dogs, onion rings, chicken etc. another station with seafood. I had the fried oysters, clam strips and fried shrimp. I enjoyed the corn and oysters. Everything else was really bad. Other stations but I did not eat at, bbq station. They really need to take a look at this and make some big improvements. $75 for 3people was definitely NOT worth it. She goes above and beyond being kind, generous and thoughtful and making our experience wonderful, my husband travels for work and is there once a week and she make sure that he has his room available and check in is easy. When there she checks in on him often she makes sure he doesn't need for nothing, we've been to other casinos but Wind Creek beats them all. His room is always clean and ready,the food is always good. We enjoyed the Fire restaurant for special occasions and love it. The whole staff top to bottom is always so nice and attentive. We tell people all the time that other casinos need to take lessons from Wind Creek. There is not one complaint that we have. We just love it there. We made a quick stop here for a little gambling and enjoyed the location. Easy on and off the highway. The casino is filled with both newer and older games. Complimentary beverages for guests playing and pretty clean bathrooms. Very crowded for a Sunday evening when we visited. Some of the machines could use some updating. The music was on repeat and so loud the whole time we were there which was a downfall for us. It's also not the biggest casino, but you can easily get your fix here! read more

Great place, especially like to gamble they have a vast array of slot machines ranging in price from the penny machines in Dollar machines. They also have tables and a highroller section what's great about it is if you come with family they also have a bowling alley lots of places to eat and a lot of those places offer some delicious food as well as a full buffet. read more

We stayed in the hotel one night while in town for a drag race. It was your basic but nice room. We had a great view of the pool and front fountain. I would request that if you can. They also had free fountain drinks down by the casino which we thought was really cool. We personally liked the casino. They didn't have tables so it is slots only but we didn't mind. Our favorite was having the movies, arcade and bowling area. We were able to play in the arcade with my little sister then gamble a little afterwards without feeling guilty. Kids aren't aloud in the middle carpet area of course but we seen plenty of kids around everywhere else during our stay. I will say double check to make sure you have the right menu for room service. They changed some of their menu options and haven't updated it in all of their rooms yet. They have plenty of fast foods close by if you're not into room service. We'll be back next race. read more

Wind Creek Casino has dramatically changed their Rewards program which will chase gamblers away. In the past I was able to get rooms comped several times a month. No longer. I earned 120,000 tier points in 2024 and am Delight level. My win/loss statement shows I lost over $25,000 in 2024. Yet I will receive no more complimentary rooms and I am guessing they have reduced or eliminated food credit. I will not darken their doorstep again. We went here for the Birthday Promotion in Atmore. Even though my name wasn't drawn, my husband and I had a great time. A wide variety of machines to choose from. Overall the casino was clean and also the bathrooms. Wish there was more than one drink station. Late night, no cups. When we went down the next morning to play before checkout no out, no coffee. This little (28 spaces) RV site is great if you need a place to stay between stops. All leveled concrete pull through pads, nicely laid out, quite and convenient located to the hotel that offers not only gaming but a theater, arcade and a bowling alley. They have a nice laundry/bathroom facilities and free WiFi and ice machine. No pool but I believe you can go to the hotel for that. The steak house in the hotel is an AA++ with the best service imaginable - a must go to to experience. read more

Okay second they didn't start Lunch at the food court til 11 . No buffet/no steakhouse open. I have no idea what they served at this food court because they were on breakfast and we didnt want that . It's 20.00 whatever it was. Third I noticed alot of the same games. They really need a variety. That had a crap ton of reel 777 type style(if you like that) , and other games we dont play. They only had 1 huff n puff(we like to play this) We found it in the high roller room. My hubbie lost (we won on this game at Montgomery just a day before) Honestly these games are very tight no joke * I read other reviews where people said this. I agree at the end my hubbie made $100 to the good . He made like $ 1,500 at Montgomery. He has had better luck at the other casino as well. I could tell from the beginning the way the machines were hardly giving anything that they were too tight . It wasn't fun at all . The trip was a huge disappointment and we will not go again. Men's and women bathroom like they haven't been cleaned in months but smelled like air fresheners just was sprayed . June 17 2024, this is my last time going to wind creek atmore, you can't win for loosing here, the atmosphere is awful, the games suck, no free play worth a crap, no food credits anymore, I've been going here a while, now it's locked up like a prison, even the elderly have to walk 10 miles just to get in, they have locked most all entrances and the only way in is through the theater, where you use to could go shorter distances, and those are locked, I don't get it, I went in with over 100.00 free play and came out with nothing, the staff is awful, the security guards walk around like they hate there jobs, the red coats I've noticed will sneak behind you and look at your game, it's to see if your logged in with your card, this establishment use to be fun, it's no longer enjoyable, I will continue to go to biloxi ms, or Wetumpka, I hate the thought of returning to atmore, lesson learned, I got it now, a higher power has been telling me to leave atmore and I got the message, the only thing good at wind creek atmore was the tribal police, my car was broke down so had to spend the night, they came by to check on me and were very polite and said they would come back around, the parking area had gotten so bad with fights and drugs it's scary to be out there at night, especially for women alone, thanks goes to tribal police!!​​​ the signs on the road is "false advertising", they claim "most free play??", please, you call 5.00 free play, then "most winners", most loosers is what it should say, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, hated giving one star but that was the least!!!!! read more

Me and my brother and a couple of freinds went in there to hang out and we all didn't have parents with us so we all got kicked out and they said we couldn't come back untill we knew how to act bc we were walking in and out and they called it disrespectful and then today my family walked in there to watch a movie and we've been going in there for weeks never said anything James sees us and called 3 police officers and his supervisor and says we had to leave I call my mom she comes down there and James says we need to leave and my mom says what did they do and then James says nothing yet but I'm not waiting around untill they start being bad. We arrived and were checked in after a 5 minute wait in line. You receive complimentary bags of lotions used in the spa. The room was very spacious and clean. We stayed in a king deluxe ring. The gaming area is very very smoke filled! (I am ready to wash my clothes from the smoke). There is a no Smoking area we saw after walking around. We tried to order drinks at two machines and never received them. We received a $10 coupon for dining. We dined in one restaurant ordering a club sandwich and patty melt.
