Way out in the country but they keep advertising their establishment in the beach communities. Not truthful about the prices.

This time was probably my best experience. The gauchos came by so often that we had to keep turning the signal to pause the food. Of course, they could just put the whole pineapple on my plate.

Overall, it was just okay. The service was good, the sides were okay, but the biggest letdown was the meat... which is really the whole reason people eat here. Several cuts didn't have much flavor, and a couple were so undercooked they were rubbery and hard to eat. However, the grilled pineapple and the bacon-wrapped chicken were unexpected highlights. There were also a few issues with the space itself. The floors were really slick... my daughter and I both almost slipped more than once. The ladies' bathroom was out of soap and had a light out, so it was pretty dark. And on the way out, I scraped my hand on an exposed screw on the door. Without that incident, I likely would have given 4 stars... but with that happening, I just can't. I went back in and mentioned it to the host so hopefully it will be fixed. They did accommodate our family of five without a reservation, which we appreciated. We really wanted to love it, but based on this visit, we probably won't be back.

The service was the worst service I've had at any restaurant let alone a white table cloth restaurant. Samuel was the worst the waiter we've ever had. He delivered the appetizer without any plates, he delivered every other item with just dropping the plates. He didn't check on us not even once. He checked on one table the entire time and I think the thought process was thinking he was going to get a good tip from the one table. We couldn't even tip a 20% because it was terrible. I warned another couple that was just sat.

Our waiter, Craig, was outstanding--funny, personable, attentive, and truly enhanced our dining experience. The filets were cooked perfectly to order, tender and flavorful, and the butter sauce was the perfect complement to the meat. Every aspect of the meal was thoughtfully prepared and expertly executed. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely recommend Voyager to anyone seeking a five-star dining experience in Orange Beach.

My party ordered everything from the very beginning --- we didn't want to take a chance that our food may "take too long", seeing how busy the restaurant was. I had forgotten the name of our waiter, but he was very kind and pleasant during our duration there. We ordered the Cactus Blossom for our appetizer, and it was even more delicious than usual. It was oily at all, perfectly fried, with a nice crisp all around. My only complaint is that they need to give us more of that horseradish dipping sauce! It's never enough with them giving you a whole fried onion. On to my main: I ordered the Country Fried Sirloin ($18.99) which included two sides: I got the Caesar Salad and the Loaded Baked Potato. This was my first attempt veering off from ordering a steak, and I was pleasantly surprised. First, the salad was dressed WELL, and topped it off with black pepper was pure nostalgia. On to the country fried sirloin: the dish came out piping hot, and the crust and crunch on it was impeccable. The only complaint? More crust than sirloin, lol! There were pockets of "air" in my meal and I was left wondering, "where's the meat"? In any case, when I did have meat --- the combo with the fry and the white gravy was an elite-tier combo. The Loaded Potato never disappoints, either. All-in-all, while I have some "observations" --- Texas Roadhouse, wherever they may be located, have never let me down! 5/5!
