I have genuinely tried to support this restaurant since the day it opened, giving it multiple chances over and over because I wanted to see a local business succeed and our community desperately needs a great restaurant bar. Unfortunately, each visit seems to reinforce the same issues rather than show improvement. The biggest concern is the overall culture and customer experience. Interactions with staff have often felt unprofessional, dismissive, and at times outright toxic. A welcoming atmosphere starts with the people representing the business, and that has consistently been lacking. The food and service are equally inconsistent. One visit might be acceptable, while the next brings long wait times. Went for a girls night and waited 35 minutes to be waited on and a drink order. Was not busy and attempted to order food at the same time which was told they did not have. Mind you this was at 6:00. Although there are not many options in Pace do not waste your time or money. read more

This place is very aesthetically pleasing and has very cute decor (possibly from the holidays) we went on a Sunday night and it was fairly quiet with not too many people. Our server was Justin and he was AMAZING. He was very attentive, knew every part of the menu, and consistently checked in on our table. The food was really good just a little pricey for my taste or a casual night out. The bathrooms were pristine (a dirty bathroom will completely ruin a restaurant for me.) Let me start by saying that I will be back here. There's nothing like this anywhere close by. That said, it's a little pricey for Pace and for the quality of the tapas. We had the tenderloin tips with chimichurry and while the flavor was good, it was not cooked right. It was a little watery. Also had the bbq shrimp wrapped in bacon. That was excellent. But 6 shrimp for $18 is a bit much. The pesto feta dip was mostly feta dip, not much pesto. The Brussel sprouts were very good. Our server Sam is very engaged and made the visit very positive. You need to give her a raise. Drinks were also very good and trendy. I will say the chocolate Blackberry Bread pudding is the best dessert I've had in a long time even if it needed more chocolate. Like I said, we will be back and we will enjoy it but I hope they kick up the quality of the food a bit to make up for the prices. All said, good job Pace! read more

Pros: Cute little spot unexpectedly placed in the cute little town of Pace, FL. It was really beautiful inside, with the rustic wood décor and the unevenness of the tables and chairs. I loved it. Service was super chill. We came really late on a weekday, so it wasn't too packed, and our server was able to be very attentive. The drink was delicious. I'm an Old Fashioned girl, and they did me right here. Cons: None. Tips: Get the crab cakes! They are a good size, so it's a tapa, but a tapa that has some substance to it. read more

I came to my hometown for a visit this past Christmas season, and was surprised to see that sleepy little Pace how had a place that had tapas in its name. I never thought I'd see the day. Well, I was coming home late one night, and this place was one of the only places open, so I took my opportunity and struck, very curious. It was a very nice scene. Huge panes of glass showing off the soft lighting within. The décor inside was very woody. The tables and benches looked like they were made with large slabs of irregularly shaped wood. It was actually very cool and inviting. We start looking at the menu, decide to get a drink and split and app. The surprises kept on coming. Not only does Pace have a tapas bar now, but that bar has a mocktail menu?? Not even all major cities have that yet. I was very pleased to see this. I perused the menu, talked to the server, and got one that mimicked a pina colada. My favorite. And it tasted good! So we ordered the Crab Cakes (Lump Crab, House-made Remoulade) to share, and it was very nice! They were super thick, which is nice. I love when tapas try to give you some substance. And the super crisp breading-to-filling ratio was perfect. Being able to get bites that have no crust and are all just cake is my favorite way to enjoy a crab cake. Sauce was good, too. Not too spicy, as to not offend the general public's palate, but it tasted good. Overall, I know I was only able to stop in for a quick bite, but it was a very good bite with very good sips in a very good environment. During our weekend in the Pensacola area we stopped in at a place called BAR515 Coctails & Tapas on Chumuckla Hwy, in Milton, FL. We were staying with good friends right down the road from this place. It was a Saturday afternoon, and as soon as we sat down our server Victoria S made us feel welcomed. We started with some Bruschetta and Brussel Sprouts with Garlic Parmesan Butter. We split a 515 Smash Burger with some of the best hand cut fries and a couple of Mimosa's. Atmosphere, food and service checked ALL the boxes. We highly recommend Bar515. read more

Went here again for drinks and tapas. I ordered a beer because the bar back was the only person there. They've taken the scallops off the menu. So, I ordered fried shrimp. The shrimp were properly cooked, but they ruined them by pouring "Yum-yum" sauce all over them. The sauce was disgusting. I think this place is under new ownership. My wife and I came here to celebrate our anniversary yesterday. We have been here a few times before and have always had a great experience! This time was no different. Our tapas were great and very flavorful! (seared Ahi Tuna, fried artichokes and bruschetta) We had the Oh Me, Oh My! Mojito, a savignoign blanc and an Old Fashioned drinks which were great also! The service was prompt and friendly too! I also had the Chicken and Gnocchi Florentine which was really good also. We had the key lime pie and the chocolate torte for dessert; again, amazing! This place is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious. I tried 3 different appetizers (truffle fries, feta dip, ahi tuna) and they were all sooo good! My friends had multiple margaritas and said they very flavorful and delicious. The service was amazing. All of the staff were welcoming and constantly checking on us. This was my first time at this restaurant and the experience was top notch. Food: wow the food was 5/5 stars! I ordered the eggs Benedict and was blown away by flavor. I am pleased by how juicy the pork was (it can often get dry at restaurants but this was the best)! We also got the $10 weekend brunch bottomless mimosas which came with a choice of pineapple, grapefruit, cranberry or orange juice - so yummy! Service: our server was so quick and kind! Our champagne bottle never ran dry. The chef came out in a tiedye shirt and he was awesome! In my opinion, the best restaurant in Pace. It offers the food diversity that the area lacks. The employees are knowledgeable about the menu and really care about what they serve. My favorite thing to do is go with friends and order several tapas and a couple of main dishes to share. I love dining with that type of variety. A little bit of everything! For tapas, the bacon wrapped dates, crispy Brussels, and tenderloin tips are my favorites. For main dish, I love the blackened redfish and their truffle ribeye. They sometimes have specials which my favorite was when they featured seafood Cioppino. So delish! Also, their cocktail menu is the best in the area. If you're looking for variety, a relaxed atmosphere, and yummy food/cocktails, I highly recommend Bar515. read more

My wife and I had lunch on a Sunday. Nothing special about the "atmosphere". Server was pleasant and polite. I had the "Black and Blue" which is a scrumptious salad with pieces of steak ($22). My wife had the smash burger ($18), a drink ($8). The appetizer was $12. The burger was good, but nothing special enough to warrant an $18 price tag. The appetizer was pretty good: gooey cheese preparation with accompanying bread triangles. I don't recall the price of the Coca Cola, but the total came to $64.50 plus of course tip which seems to me pretty high given that we have dined at nicer places at significantly lower cost. What WOULD draw me back is the Black and Blue salad which is the tastiest salad I can say I've every consumed. read more

My husband and I are foodies relocated from Orlando. I would say this place matches the top choices for fun hang out with great food. We ordered a decent amount everything was excellent except 1. Steak tips with chimichurri so perfect-sadly better than my home made. bbq shrimp, garlic parm bread - squishy and great, truffle fries, Greek meatballs, mushrooms were out of this world- 2nd best than I have ever had. The only thing we will not order again is the spinach artichoke dip- the bread was spot on light and crispy the dip was almost just cream cheese and not strong... get everything else. Plus dessert a puff pastry with berries that was perfect and light after a heavy meal. This is now one of my favorite spots for the pcola area. Not usually a tapas person. However, this place is very good. I had a jalapeño margarita and we all tried several other drinks. We had several small plates as well and loved everything. Prices are high, so keep in mind before you go. We sat at two tables and they were falling apart and service was a little slow. Otherwise, the chef and bartender were fantastic and we had a great time. Only recommendation is please fix the tables and chairs. Little bit faster service. All in all. Great spot. We just found our new favorite spot! We just moved to the area and decided to stop in for a drink and I'm so glad that we did! The inside of Bar515 is super cute and nice for a date night but can be casual as well! They had live music and the performer was AWESOME! Very interactive and personal with the crowd! They have a lot of drinks and cocktails to choose from at a really reasonable price! Ashley, the bartender made the BEST dirty martini I've had in a long time! I would highly recommend trying some of their specialty cocktails because they really know how to make a drink and you can't go wrong with anything you choose! We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Wesley who was so kind and you could tell he is so passionate about what he cooks and puts on the tables at Bar515. This is our first time here. I had the blackened red fish and my wife had the Mediterranean chicken. Both dishes were served on a bed of wonderfully delicious mashed potatoes. Both dishes were very moist and cooked to perfection. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. Tonight they have live entertainment a guy playing a guitar and singing some slow songs. The atmosphere is relaxing and the music adds to it instead of being too loud and drowning out conversations, I highly recommend this place and I know for sure this will be our go to place. read more

I wish there was a little bit more food but what I had was high quality. My friend ordered a shrimp and egg dish but it came without shrimp. This use to be our favorite place, SO we decided to take my mom here for Mother's Day. We were first told that they were short handed today so please bare with us and we did, it took over an hour to get our appetizers, which were pretty decent, but when we got our entrees , which we waited another hour for, they were over cooked, my mom ordered the smashed burger, it was so hard she couldn't eat it, my husband's steak was supposed to be medium rare, and it was well done, my steak had no flavor, they ended up, taking My Husband's steak off the bill, and made my mom another burger, unfortunately, that burger too, was hard and burnt. We were there for over 2 hours, and we noticed other patrons getting up and walking out. I don't understand why the manager wasn't there on an expectantly busy day. We know it's not our servers fault , but sadly we will not be returning to a place that was once our favorite restaurant. read more
