Absolutely horrible. Service was terrible. Waited 45 mins for a waitress to come back to refill drinks. Food was mediocre. Will not return.

We are new to the area and had heard that this was a place that we must put on our list. So I made…read morea reservation and I strongly suggest that because it was packed when we arrived. The establishment is so nice and the decor is very relaxing. The host greeted us immediately and gave us some nice compliments also. We were escorted to our seats and server Tatum was there waiting. She introduced herself and told us a little about the restaurant and what they specialize in. She told us about the specials and took our drink order. We ordered the savory bread pudding Benedict and the Bonita's lobster roll both came with hand cut Parmesan truffle fries. Let's start with the bread pudding. Wow, isn't your ordinary bread pudding. If you don't like bread pudding, you will love this one! It starts with a special type bread they make and thick cut bacon is baked all through it. Then it's topped with a poached egg with a special hollandaise sauce. Every bite was full of flavor and I hate I ate it so fast. The lobster roll was so tender and buttery. The roll was fresh a little toasty just enough for a little crunch when you bite. The fries, I never had hand cut fries that taste so good. The fresh Parmesan cheese and truffle oil took them over the top. They really take time to pay attention to detail. If you haven't eaten here yet, you must put this one high on your list. I'm looking forward to my next review!!!!

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at George Bistro last night--what a gem in Pensacola! From…read morethe moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and upscale-casual, with great energy but not stuffy at all. We started with the ricotta fig and pear appetizer, and oh my goodness, it was incredible--creamy, sweet, tangy, and perfectly balanced. Such a fresh and creative dish! For mains, my partner had the chili citrus glazed duck, and it was cooked to perfection: crispy skin, juicy meat, and that glaze brought such bright, zesty flavors that paired beautifully with the sides. I went with the cobia almondine, and it was one of the best fish dishes I've had--perfectly seared, flaky, with the brown butter, almonds, and charred lemon elevating every bite. The cauliflower purée underneath was silky and delicious. We couldn't stop at just dinner--we shared a few desserts (the variety was tempting!), and everything was spot-on: rich, not too sweet, and beautifully presented. The service was truly amazing--our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations without being pushy. They really made us feel taken care of. If you're looking for elevated, ingredient-driven food with Southern-meets-French flair in Pensacola, George Bistro is a must-try. We'll definitely be back soon--maybe for brunch next time! Highly recommend--5 stars all the way!

If you are looking for a hidden gem serving some of the best fried seafood in the Pensacola area,…read morelook no further than Shannon's Seafood Kitchen. It is everything you want from a classic Florida seafood dive. The restaurant sits in a spot you could probably drive past a hundred times and never give a second thought. It is tucked away enough that if you did not know it was there you might miss it completely. But once you stop in, you will be glad you did. The atmosphere is modest, casual, and clean. It feels like one of those small family owned meat and three restaurants you find all over the South. The only difference is this one specializes in seafood. The service is as sweet as the iced tea and the conversations with the staff flow just as easily. Everyone was friendly and welcoming in that genuine small town way. The food was outstanding. Simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The seafood was fried perfectly and seasoned just right. The fish was flaky and hot straight out of the fryer, and the fried shrimp were crisp and flavorful. Even the sides were great and tasted homemade. You can tell right away that the owners and staff genuinely care about what they do. Their pride in the food and the restaurant really shows in the quality of everything they serve. If you ever find yourself craving a big piece of fried fish or a basket of shrimp, Shannon and her crew will absolutely deliver. Tip: Do not let the outside fool you. This is exactly the kind of local seafood spot that ends up becoming a regular stop once you discover it. Well done.

The menu literally says "8 or so jumbo shrimp," so hopefully you get the "or so" like I did. The shrimp were excellent; perfectly fried and the dredge they use is well seasoned. The fries were hot and seasoned, and the coleslaw was cold, creamy, and delicious. The homemade hush puppies were so good I ate my 2 and the 2 T didn't want. The ladies working were very friendly and attentive, bringing out cocktail sauce and some spicy mayo that was really good. If you're in the area looking for a good place to eat, stopping here is a solid play.

The atmosphere is modern and cozy, with beautiful presentation that makes everything feel special right from the start. We kicked things off with some appetizers--the hamachi kama was incredible: super fatty, savory, and grilled perfectly with that crispy skin. We also loved the baked salmon appetizer (our server recommended it), stuffed and flavorful--such a great way to start. For the main event, we went all-in on sushi: the rainbow roll was stunning with its vibrant layers and fresh fish on top, the shrimp tempura roll had that perfect crunch, and we added a couple of special rolls that were creative and delicious. The fish tasted incredibly clean and fresh--salmon and hamachi were standouts. Everything was beautifully plated, almost too pretty to eat! We finished with a couple of desserts (the mochi ice cream hits different here--chewy, creamy, and not overly sweet). Portions were generous, and the quality was top-notch. Service was outstanding--our server was friendly, attentive, and super knowledgeable about the menu. They even pointed out happy hour deals, which made the whole experience feel welcoming and fun. Prices are reasonable for the quality, especially with that amazing freshness. If you're craving high-quality sushi with great presentation and friendly vibes in Pensacola, Koi Sushi is a must! We'll be back soon--probably for more rolls and maybe trying the ramen next time. 5 stars, no question--highly recommend!
