We may have enjoyed the chichurrones so much I forgot to take a picture until they were almost gone!

Ok guys DO NOT SLEEP on this place! They have been open a while and to be honest, after I looked at the menu, I was like....maybe....! So last Friday my husband and I had been out and about and he suggested giving this place a try. Honestly I wasn't exactly excited but figured I could find a couple of things to try. We got there a little after 4 and it was Happy Hour. Yay! We were seated right away and our waitress was super attentive. I am not a cheese eater (I know...sacrilegious!) but there were a couple of options I was willing to try. Guess what?!?!? They were out of the 2 I wanted to try! Of course they were, its just my luck. So I picked out a couple of things and thought I can always get a snack when I get home. My husband has traveled all over and has zero food restrictions, so I knew he could find something. So enough drama, onto the food!! We ordered the Barcelona flatbread, Habenero Mango wings, Tortilla & Prosciutto Pincho and Mediterranean garlic shrimp. They also serve complimentary chichurrones! The Barcelona Flatbread may sound a bit strange when you read the description because it has spiced chicken, tzatziki and pomegranate seeds but oh my gosh was it good! The flavors were amazing! The wings were juicy and the habanero mango sauce was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Tortilla and Prosciutto was the perfect bite. The Mediterranean garlic shrimp was to die for! The sauce was so good, my husband used some of the chichurrones to dip it up when we ran out of toast points! Lol Yes, they are "small" portions as tapas' are but it was plenty for the two of us. Whatever you do, DO NOT turn down the complimentary house made chichurrones! I don't know what culinary magic they use but I could've eaten a huge basket of them, they were so yummy! For drinks I had the Seaside Chocolate Martini and my husband had the Corsican Bloom. Both were delicious and complimented the food! We spoke to the owner who told us they are in the process of revamping the menu and adding Gyros and Shwarma! We can't wait to go back and try them! This place is a hidden gem right here in Pace and we are so lucky to have them! Please, please, please give them a try! We want them to succeed because we NEED good quality sit down restaurants in Pace!

Wine menu is perfect! A Spanish Rioja that was smooth and tasty.

The food was absolutely delicious! Shrimp scampi had perfectly done pasta and it was garlic forward...as it should be! Had a Moroccan tapa with eggplant that had the best flavor combination. Wine was a dollar off for happy hour. Wonderful Spanish wine to complement the dishes we chose. Service was outstanding! We will be back!!

The food exceeded our expectations. We ordered the filet and the red snapper, and both dishes were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. I also tried the melon margarita, which was refreshing, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the meal. Between the exceptional service, incredible food, and great atmosphere, this was a memorable evening. We can't wait to come back!

We look forward to coming back every year, and it never disappoints. Aaron was our server a few weeks ago and was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to explain all of the specials thoroughly, gave us some great recommendations, and was incredibly attentive throughout our entire meal. You can tell he genuinely knows the menu and wants his guests to have a great experience. As for the food, the miso scallops are an absolute must and, hands down, my favorite thing on the menu! My boyfriend always gets a steak, and they are consistently cooked to perfection. Definitely make sure to try the salmon crudo and oysters as well- they're both delicious. And whatever you do, save room for a dessert cocktail! The limoncello carajillo is absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. This is one of those places we come back to year after year, and it's always a highlight of our trip. Great food, great service, and such a memorable experience every time! Side note- please keep the Dolce Vita martini on the menu forever!

Our first visit did not disappoint. Anne and I were joined for lunch by a friend that we had not seen in close to sixty years. We're here in our hometown for three or four weeks twice a year, spring and fall. And when here we want mullet. Lots of mullet. And The Fishing Hole is one of the restaurants here that delivers the goods. We prefer just mullet with no sides, often accompanied by a dozen oysters on the half shell. The Fishing Hole offers this option. They have here a very nice a la carte menu. The 3 ounces of mullet sells for $5.20 and consists of three nice fillets. Very reasonable! On our friend's recommendation Anne and I shared a bowl of the shrimp and crab chowder. The fish is flavorfully coated and perfectly fried... moist meat that beautifully flakes apart. The creamy chowder is a shrimp and crab lover's dream. We amped up the heat to our taste with a few dashes of Crystal hot sauce. The chowder is definitely a do again dish for us. Our friend ordered the a la carte fried oysters and they looked so good we're returning today to give them a try (along with more mullet, of course). I enjoyed a draft Jai Alai IPA, and as bottles of wine were half price we shared a Gabbiano pinot grigio that proved to be quite nice. A perfect compliment to the fish and chowder. Service was prompt, very cordial and perfectly attentive. Looking forward to a repeat today for lunch.

It was a very nice experience and we're definitely coming back.
