    Shrimp, crab & Gruyère omelet

This place is a gem!! Amazing service, exceptional food and great cocktails. The complimentary beignet bites with honey and cinnamon are delicious. Bottomless mimosas for me (many juice options) and hubby had yummy craft cocktails. We shared the avocado toast which was bursting with flavors. I had the shrimp, crab & Gruyère omelet and he had the Benedict three-way. Both were absolutely fabulous. We can't wait to return!!

March menu is amazing, service is great always and it's just a really quaint and cozy restaurant that consistently dishes out delicious food.

As usual, Agapi exceeded expectations. Reservations at 7:30, we were seated very promptly! Our server was a bit busy to say the least but she handled it all well, as well as us. We ordered the charcuterie board, the escargot, the pork belly and the carpaccio. Everything was on point! The Agapi Margaritas were also excellent! Yes, we'll be back. Just another reminder of how few great restaurants we have here in Pensacola . I consider Agapi a great restaurant

I thought this was a well thought out review, but it somehow never made it on Google, explains the ratings they have. My gratitude goes out to the kitchen staff for saving me untold amounts of money going forward. It's a quiet bistro environment which is dirtier than desired but not so dirty as to leave. The floor is old and off putting for the ambience of an upscale establishment. The meal starts with some contraption of fried dough, which is described as beignet like, but has the density of a hush puppy instead. It's odd to detract points for free items, but had we not already placed a food order we would have just had a few drinks and left. The honey which encompasses these balls is sickeningly sweet with no balance of savory, umami, or spice to provide relief. Next we had the oyster slider for an appetizer. This dish was fundamentally flawed in execution but the idea behind the dish was sound. This is the type of dish which tells me the kitchen no longer eats their own food. The biscuit was too large for the oyster, so there was no singular scrumptious bite to be found. Instead it was a mouthful of moist bread with your tongue desperately searching for a textural bit to clasp. The oyster needed a thicker breading to hold up to the wet elements and those elements could have both been on the bottom allowing a more satisfying crunch to the overall dish. My wife ordered the lobster roll and fries. The fries were flaccid and pale, and if anyone is gone serve my wife flaccid and pale it's going to be me. She had to dress the fries with salt and pepper table side, which in "fine" dining is an atrocity. Salt is for the kitchen, not the table. The lobster roll itself was very generous with the portion of protein. For me it was a too dill forward but my wife found the seasoning appropriate. I ordered confit duck and waffles. I have no idea what I received. Confit duck should be falling off the bone with a stern look and such a flavor bomb I wag my tail upon devouring. This was a bland and tough duck leg, that I couldn't even finish. The waffle could be made at any Quality Inn breakfast included buffet around the country. Props for my egg being properly cooked and still runny in the middle. This was so underwhelming, all it did was cost a hundred bucks and build the bluster for farts later in the day. The mimosas were great but all mimosas are, just head to Calvert's, Scenic 90, or Aunt Katie's; it'll save you money and the food will be better.

We did the chefs tasting menu and it was fantastic! It was nice to be able to interact with and get each course described by the chef. The food was amazing and beautifully presented.

What a lovely restaurant! Perfect for a dinner date and dinner party with friends. The food and service were superb. The cocktail list was fantastic too. You can order cocktail flights to try different drinks.

Valentines Dinner @ Agapi was more than my husband & I anticipated. The service was by the Chef himself and a server Joann. It was planned for us to do the Chef's Blind Tasting Menu which has forever changed our tastebuds. Every dish the Chef brought out to us was fantastic, every dish ramping up our tastebuds for something never had but yet was around the corner in the kitchen. Our experience with Executive chef GUS SILIVOS and each dish he brought out to us, in confidence was yet our best experience in Pensacola. Can't wait for our next date @ Agapi. Thank You Agapi for making our Valentines Day Dinner Memorable

I've been driving past this place for months and always wanted to try it - and it was AMAZING. Food was absolutely delicious and great portions. Servers were so nice. Can't wait to tell everyone about this place!

Five star brunch. Excellent service. Absolutely loved the breakfast tacos, the hummus with naan, the tiramisu martini was DIVINE. My friend ordered the lamb burger with Taziki and I would definitely get that next time! I so appreciated. You can sub out the side of potatoes for a side salad. Arugula with dates & apple cider vinaigrette. It tasted so FRESH. The waitress was so sweet. They didn't even rush us for coming so close to closing time. (At 2) i will definitely be back!

OK. Just one more review and I'm over and out. I promise. But I haveta comment on our dish this evening. Being National Wine Day we ordered a bottle of a lovely Sancerre to accompany our shrimp bisque and fish entree. A perfect pairing. We both thought the shared shrimp bisque was not as robust and flavorful as in previous visits, but still quite enjoyable and served piping hot, and get this... the kitchen presented it to us is separate bowls! That's a class act. But the Gulf Scamp Cervantes... wow. My wife has had it several times before but this was a first for me. Locally, line-caught scamp, topped with jumbo lump crab in a shallot cream reduction over creamy herb risotto and several spears of perfectly cooked Broccolini. Scamp grouper is said to be the Captain's Meat, so good it is reserved for the boat's captain. And this lovely piece of fish was cooked to absolute perfection. Super moist and fall apart flaky. It is topped with the cream sauce and a generous portion of lovely white lump crabmeat. The risotto is risotto perfection... smooth and silky; such a tasty complement to the fish and broccolini. And once again... the kitchen divided the shared entree into two plates. No shared plate charge! Hat's off to this kitchen! Our server, Dania, was so enjoyably cordial, knowledgeable, and perfectly attentive. Of all our dining experiences over the past three weeks here, this was just tops. There is a very, very good possibility we will do this again before leaving our home town here for home in Texas.

This place was so so amazing. Food was cooked perfectly. We sat outside very cute and cozy. First good meal that I have had in Pensacola since I moved here.you have to try it.

    Flavorless Garbanzo Beans
    Michael K.

Came in after getting a reservation for four on a Friday night. Restaurant is quite small but cutely decorated. Waitress brought out deep fried garbanzo beans as a table snack, these weren't particularly good or flavorful so no one ate them, lol. My mom ordered the Chargrilled Octopus (olive oil poached octopus tentacle, charred lemon, pickled pepper medley, vinaigrette) and this is significantly smaller of a portion than what was shown on Yelp from other reviews. The portion for something that's meant to be shared was really sad especially considering it was $16. I ordered the Southern Chicken Saltimbocca (airline-cut breast, prosciutto, sage + gruyere filling, pecan crust, peach chutney, grits, garlic wine jus) and it was fantastic! Really great portion and very filling, though the chicken breast was extremely dry, all components together made a hearty meal. I was impressed by the presentation of the Saltimbocca. Lots of other great looking menu items that I'm excited to come back and try. They also have a brunch on Saturday's that looks pretty awesome.

    Happy hour selections

Finally took my guy there for his first trip and we both par took in the 4 course meal. Always love the setting in this place. Wine was also good. The only pic I missed was the app. All timed well and great service.

With somewhat dim lighting and a speakeasy's ambiance, The Burrow offers a great spot for just a drink or a full meal. For starters, check out their cocktail menu. Sure, they can make you your favorite drink, like a Manhattan or a basic Cosmo, but their featured drinks are outstanding. The Giving Tree is a smashing blend of pear & vodka, with a mint garnish, and it is seriously drinkable. The Burrow even offers CBD-infused cocktails for those that really want to take the edge off. The fare is beyond the standard bar & grille, though they do serve a fantastic burger. For appetizers, the Raclette Fries are a must-try with rich flavors that could captivate any palate, and bigger appetites can tackle the Pork Shank, served bone-in and topped with cabbage for that authentic German approach. Where do I even begin?…read more We had our wedding at Garden & Grain this weekend and it was absolutely flawless. I have to start with the most important parts of our day which were Cara & Jadyn, our event coordinators and Nick & Jesse, our bartenders. Cara and Jadyn were literal earth-movers and magic makers. These two helped us get everything decorated and torn down with absolute ease (and we had an awful lot of decor we brought in.) By the time we moved into the ceremony, Jadyn was everywhere ensuring we started when we were ready, the guests were ready for us to enter, and just made us feel so at ease. We heard from so many guests that they didn't even realize the chairs got moved from the garden into the grainhouse between because it was so fast and flawlessly executed. These folks were so stealthy bringing 75 chairs between different spaces. Bravo. Our caterer was just arriving as we were about the walk the aisle. We had no idea the chaos that was ensuing behind the scenes that Jadyn and the team worked out as quickly as possible and without our guests even recognizing there was a delay in the start time of the food service. Obviously catering is a huge part of the day, and it would have been so stressful had we realized they were 30+ minutes behind. The execution of our wedding could not have happened flat out without these two wonderful people. We are so grateful for you both, Cara and Jadyn. You deserve all the praise in the world and are absolutely amazing event coordinators. Oh, and Jadyn, thanks for never letting us have a drink less than half full - your impeccable attention to detail is what every event coordinator should strive for. Now, the other critical aspect to a wedding is bar service. Nick and Jesse had those drinks flowing non stop all night. There was never a guest waiting in line or without a drink from before the ceremony to last moments. Our guests were complimenting all night on how amazing the bar service was. We are a family with one side from New Orleans, we know how to party and going into it with 2 bartenders for 75 people who know how to have a good time was an anxiety for us, but there was not a single mishap in the bar service and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our guests or us. Not to mention, every time I looked at Nick or Jesse, they were both smiling and so happy to be there with us - it meant a lot to feel like your vendors were a part of your wedding. The space lent itself so naturally to our ceremony and reception. It was beautiful, cozy, clean, and just 100% our vibe. Our guests also complimented all night on what a cool venue we had. If you're thinking about booking an event, particularly a wedding here, don't hesitate. There's not a dang thing I would change about Garden & Grain, Perfect Plain and the people they had assisting us and our guests throughout the event. Being able to look back and see how smoothly things ran is every Bride's dream, and without a doubt you will have the same experience that we did here. Thank you G & G/Perfect Plain/Perennial Hospitality for the amazing experience on our wedding date. You have no idea what this meant to us. It means even more to feel that you guys actually enjoyed being there with us. Pat yourselves on the back and know that you are shining examples of what a wedding venue is supposed to operate like. Cheers to you guys, thank you once again for everything!
