April 22nd 6 PM -7:30 PM. Hostess was picking her teeth with toothpicks for 10-15 minutes with pieces of food occasionally flying here and there. Occasionally grabbing rolls and seating people. She had a gold heart-shaped necklace and name tag looked like ZOE. I asked to talk to one of the two managers and the staff looked for the managers for 15 minutes, but could not find either Manager anywhere in the restaurant. I told them that I would just leave a note and a review on yelp about it since they couldn't find any managers anywhere in the restaurant for 15 minutes. Our beautiful and charming waitress PEYTON was an absolute rockstar. The service was excellent today but I was disappointed to discover upon seating that they do not offer the lunch menu on Friday. Our tips were good but over cooked. We asked for medium rare and they were well done to medium. The veggie of the day, the carrots were hard and there was only two pieces of broccoli- could do better here. This is a very harsh topic just to cram into one review. What a complete shitshow. This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The food was absolutely disgusting. My meal looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours and tasted like someone forgot how to cook. The steak was dry as hell, the sides were cold, and everything seemed stale and thrown together with zero effort. I've honestly had better food from a convenience store. The waitress was weird as fuck and made the entire experience uncomfortable. She kept disappearing, acted completely clueless, and every interaction felt awkward and bizarre. We constantly had to hunt her down just to get basic things. It felt like she couldn't care less whether customers were happy or not. For the amount of money Texas Roadhouse charges, this place should be embarrassed. The food sucked, the service sucked, and the whole experience was a waste of time. I left annoyed, still hungry, and wondering how this place stays in business. I wouldn't recommend this location to my worst enemy. Absolute garbage. read more

Unfortunately not the case here, wifes food cold, another person in parts food not correct, so we did not get to eat together. Management did not seem to care. This review is for the Foley, Alabama Texas Roadhouse. We were a party of 6 and had to wait approximately 30-40 minutes as we had arrived before a 2nd shift began. There were plenty of tables available, but more staff weren't scheduled to come in until 3:00. We were starving! Our server was very friendly and attentive. Most everyone in our party were happy with their food, but my chicken fried steak was probably the worst I've ever eaten. It tasted like grease and was full of gristle. It was actually nauseating. Thankfully, I got full from the rolls, sweet potato, and green beans. I was really surprised that a restaurant known for their steaks had such awful chicken fried steak. Ordered dining room for me and to go for a family member. My 20 oz ribeye was cooked properly just not very pretty. 11 ounce sirloin to go was perfect except no bread added to the order. I luckily brought my leftovers. Restaurant was busy but the server was attentive. The restaurant was full but an enjoyable noise level and paced meal. Texas roadhouse has the best steaks and also the best grilled pork chops I have ever eaten. They also have the best all you can eat rolls and butter. We always have wonderful service and the ambulance of the restaurant is always enjoyable. The core is what you would expect from a western steakhouse. They also have a very nice bar area. read more

I'm not sure what to say here! I have been a fan for many years and as a traveling salesman for 40 years I've eaten at more Texas Roadhouses than I can count. Since I've retired in OBA I now go to the Foley location regularly and have always been happy, until last night!!!! The service was still great as always, but for the first time the was not great, in fact it wasn't even good or acceptable. The filets were over salted and otherwise tasteless. All you got was salt. The potatoes were undercooked, in fact, hard and not eatable. I'm upset that I feel a need to leave a poor review, but a 3 (only based on last night) is very generous. read more

Not my first experience at a Texas Roadhouse but first experience at this new one. I personally really enjoy this chain restaurant and was excited to have this new one here. I stopped in last minute and found myself a spot at the bar. The bartenders were great, the food was fast and delicious. Of course can't forget the awesome rolls! I forgot to take good pics of the food for Yelp but did get one pic of the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes, it was good and the portions large, I'm all about some cream gravy so was glad they were generous with it. I'd go back again and sit at the bar most likely as I dine alone frequently but I'm sure the table service is also great. read more

It all depends on the your server and the cook. I've had wonderful meals here but tonight was LONG and burnt food! It took us almost 2 hours from sitting down to paying our bill! Half our food was burnt or not cooked right. Our waitress had too many tables to watch because we had to ask several times for refills or more bread, or to remove extra dishes! And on top of it all, we never saw a manager! They usually come around and check on you, but not today! The atmosphere was slow the first hour but became noisy before we could leave! My family and I visited last night for dinner. Even though the parking lot packed, we managed to get seated within 30 minutes. I would give everything an A+, with the exception of 3 items: 1. I use a cane to walk. The hostess seated us and was moving too fast, so I lost my party. She passed me on the way back to the front where I asked her where we were seated, then reminded her she needs to be more attentive to those with minor disabilities. I'm not sure she even understood what I meant. 2. Texas Roadhouse is geared for the loud and rowdy. But this location was too loud. I found myself having to scream my order to our server, when the music could have been turned down 2 notches and the atmosphere would have been perfect. 3. Lastly, the food although good, was not great. Not $100.00 good. I got the thick cut Ribeye, medium. I usually count on a good sear on the meat and a nice hot Center. Not the case. The steak was mushy , with hardly any sear on it at all. When I cut into it, there was a huge piece of incurable grizzle that made up most of the steak. Since there was no sear on the steak, the middle of it was rare, red in the middle and not hot at all. Overall, a very disappointing steak experience. All in all, I will not visit this steakhouse again since I can get a better steak for the same price elsewhere. read more

This Texas Roadhouse in Foley had its grand opening on August 7, 2023 and I was there for their soft opening. I have returned since that opening to get their full experience. Comparing it to other locations in several states I gotta say this one is off to a terrific start with top shelf service and very good quality food.  From the seriously tasty rolls and cinnamon butter to the Big Ol' Brownie everything has been on point every time. I have been here with my honey and also with friends and the staff has always been welcoming and did a great job with the ordwering, refilling drinks bringing and breakfast bringing more rolls, etc. and the food has always came out hot.  My fave apps are the Cactus Blossom, like the blooming onion elsewhere, and even though I'm not a fried pickle guy, theirs is quite good. A bone-in Ribeye is my favorite anywhere and their 20 bone-in has been spot on. Price wise the $28.99 is a good deal because I bought a similar cut at my local grocery store that was $29, but no sides or bread, and I gotta cook :-) The baked potato and salads are good, as is all sides. The country fried steak is not bad but I'd skip the pulled pork, just not to my taste. Overall each visit has been a very good one and I will pick this steakhouse over the several that we have locally.  They have embraced technology with lots of online options with kiosk tablets at the tables, complete with ability to pay. You can order to go orders online, and you can pickup your order at the outside walkup window, you can get on their wait-list and you can join the VIP club online otle on the kiosk where you'll get a free appetizer.  VIP Members get offers, updates, freebies, and more straight to your email and/or texts.  Bottom line: While I almost always choose local this is one of those exceptions, because everything here meets or exceeds my expectations every time. More like a 3.5 or 3.67 but cannot go to a 4 yet. We had an early dinner on Sunday and only had to wait five minutes for a table. Service was great and rewarded accordingly. See pix for our dinner entrees, a filet and 12 oz prime rib. Both were decent but rated in the 3 range. My prime was not presented well and all folded up. The bread, salad and potatoes were good although my steak fries could have been hotter. Nice drink menu and beer selection on hand. What happened to the peanuts they used to bring to the table? Didn't see any. We will return and I will get the ribeye next time in. Keep on improving TR. read more

We have been waiting 8 years for a Texas Roadhouse to come To Foley..So of course had to go try it and it is as delicious as it has always been..we joined the wait list at around 4 and it was about a 20 min wait. It was so crowded but the restaurant has a lot of room. The manager stopped by our table and chatted awhile..all the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. We're from California and I think I've seen a random Texas roadhouse around there, but we have never stopped. Decided to give this one a try today. It was a rough start getting seated, but once we sat, Natalie, our waitress was engaged and amazing. My husband took the opportunity to tell her it was our first time there. She went out of her way to tell us what were the best items on the menu. We were so hungry. I didn't even take any pictures. The fried pickles were good but a tad bit salty. We love to have fried pickles when we come to the East Coast. It's just not the same in California. My daughter said the country fried chicken was great, Natalie allowed us to try it with both gravies "on the side". There was a lot of "on the side" for us and she did not care one bit. The shrimp and sirloin meal, my daughter and I shared. It was definitely enough after the peanuts and fried pickles. We also had a chicken Caesar salad, which was very large. My suggestion is get the dressing on the side so you can take the rest home. At the end of our meal, the manager brought us a little welcome gift of a can coozy and coupon for a free appetizer if we come back again. TEXAS ROADHOUSE AHHHH yes!!! Finally! Texas Roadhouse did not disappoint guys!! Walking in, it literally felt like we were in a different city, the music, the sound of people talking, drinking and having a good time at their tables. The Sangria Margarita was super tasty and so was the Legend Margarita we registered before hand and got a free appetizer so of course had to have the cactus blossom! As we were on our way to the table we got to pick out our steaks Haylee was our waitress and she was great!! She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we wanted. Service was personable and timely. The salmon and ribeye were on point. Well seasoned, steak was tender and cooked perfect medium-rare. The "side" salads could pass as a meal. And don't forget the rolls and cinnamon butter. All that isn't what's remarkable, really. For so long, Texas Roadhouse, in Foley, was the only place I could get a great steak, which I do not get to eat very often. The 16 oz ribeye WAS my favorite. Now, it's terrible. I like my steak rare, not blue. The last 4 times were a disaster. Once the steak was small, flat and overcooked. The next time, it came out blue, cold in the middle. The time after that overcooked. Yesterday, the service was great but my steak was medium rare, not rare and the outside was tough as shoe leather. The bacon in the green beans was burnt and chewy. The ONLY thing good were the rolls and the salad. How many times do you have to send something back to get it right. I am one voice but I am looking elsewhere for a good steak. read more

We used the open table to reserve a spot. 6 min from texting "here", we arrived inside. They proceeded to say it took 13 minutes (teenagers up front). I asked for a small booth bc I have 3 little kiddos and we always sit there. They proceeded to let 7 tables in front of us and told us it would be another 20 min. When I asked to talk with the manager to explain that we always sit in a little booth with very time we come to this restaurant (they filled up all the booths with all the tables coming in behind us that they kept sitting in front of us). I explained that's what I asked for, just a small booth for my mom, my 3 little kids, & I. The manager Kristin, she was absolutely rude to my mom and I. We will NOT be back. It's a shame. We came to this location once a week. I asked to speak to a GM (general manager) since I used to work at Texas Roadhouse and I wanted them to know how she treated us. I ordered a Cactus Blossom, the full-rack of drop-off the bone ribs, a salad and a sweet potato. I enjoyed the Cactus Blossom. I was extremely pleased with the ribs. They had an excellent favor and they did drop off the bone. They r now added to my list if things to order. Of course the salad and baked sweet potato very good I consider the staples. LOL. My husband had the Dallas Filet with mushrooms and onions and he loved it. He's the rib-eye man. Emma was our server today. She did an excellent job. She was there checking on our drinks, our meal and if anything was needed, frequented, even during a busy service time. I did remember to take a couple of pictures.
