I love any kind of seafood but especially crab and I cannot say enough good things about this place! First and foremost, the food is to die for! I ordered the conch appetizer and 1lb of snow crab and everything was perfectly cooked. The spicy sauce for the conch was unique and not overpowering and the conch was fried just perfectly. The sides for the crab were a perfect match and equally amazing- the cucumber tomato salad had a very delicious green sauce over it and the rice was deliciously sautéed with peppers and onions. If I lived in the area I would eat here all the time!! Finally the staff was super attentive and up-beat. Fantastic job :) read more

A scrumptious feast at GC as the pink shrimp are by far the best tasting shrimp you are ever going to taste . On a side note the pesto dressing was also amazing. WOW! It's an interesting look from the street side, but don't be deterred. Once you enter the glass store front, into a marine & fish driven motif (that it looks like all the fish art work is available for purchase). We are greeted friendly and promptly, to have a seat where we would like and that fits our party of four. Once seated, our server greets us, presents the menus, drink options and daily specials. Red shrimp "taste like baby lobsters" and grouper topped with crab. Other things may have been said but I Charlie Brown parented at that moment. Our party ordered a little bit of everything...... Two local beers(I'll let the beer peeps talk them up) A cup of Seafood bisque soup that was delicious, creamy, and had a real homemade feel. A truly unique Oyster stew, very light cream broth with bits of garlic and scallions with approximately 8 good sized plump oysters. A chunky, yet creamy Fish dip that is made with love, not from a can, presented with butter saltines, raw jalapeños, tomatoes and purple onions. The Red Shrimp! Just like it was recommended, "baby lobster" taste, spot on. Now on to the Crack Conch, this was what caught my eye and actually drove me to try this establishment. I was not disappointed, I actually hesitated to get it because of my expectations I felt to high. I was not disappointed, extremely tender and fried just right with a light batter and a fair portion. I was sad to see them go. I would say they are so good they don't need sauce, but then I tried the sauce, another WOW. You could put it on a boot. The large portion of grouper was locally fresh tasting and covered with a good amount of crab and two sides. I highly recommend this establishment, for its really fresh seafood and I can't wait to get back to that area and may even go out of my way to come back, it's is that good. Outside of the FL Keys, l rarely try "seafood" places and have good results, but this is one of the best I've visited, FL Keys or not. read more

Following the other posts, I too put TripAdvisor to the test as this was rated #1 in the area, despite the ambiance of the outside structure. Bright and fun inside and a really tasty menu. Excellent service! Yellowtail snapper & Conch fritters were awesome and come highly recommended. It's the type of place where I'm assuming locals hope the "tourists" don't invade... Small place with an amazing variety of great seafood options. It definitely doesn't stand out on the street but it was worth the trip. First up, the smoked fish dip is a must. It sounds basic, but the presentation and the dip are excellent. I had the captains platter which was very good and had lots of prep options besides just deep frying. The waitress suggested lightly blackened which was just right for me. We also has the scallop burger, which was fantastic, really really good. There were a number of desserts, all sounding good. We had the warm banana coconut cake with whipped cream which was fine but we were stuffed and really didn't get into it. My companion is raving about our dinner here, saying this it was the best she's had anywhere in over a year, really high praise from her. We'll definitely go back next time we're in the area. We finally got around to trying out Gettin Crabby--practically in our back yard. This place is yet another great dining experience in the Stuart/Port Salerno area. Don't let the Spartan playful décor of concrete floors, hanging toy sharks and plywood bars fool you. People come here for the food and atmosphere of casual, fine dining. Some must haves: The Fish Dip (Now I know why its called fish dip because I wanted to wade into it--man is that good!), the conch fritters and definitely the Royal Red Shrimp which you will immediately go out and buy a boat to circle the full moon reflecting on the water at night looking for these things with your thousand foot crab net. For entrees, we have had the fish specials, which surprisingly are not too $$ and are super delicious. The Cracked Conch is so lightly battered and seasoned to perfection-- like a poor man's fried oysters, but better. There are so many great looking dishes on the menu it's hard to make a recommendation. The beers on tap I had were Florida craft brews, which are soooooo good. I absolutely love their choices, being I run a craft beer review site of my own. If you want a table, you need a reservation, even during the week, or take a chance... a slim chance, that your timing is perfect. The place is charmingly tight and word has been out for some time about this place. Personally, I love sitting at the bar, meeting people, and giving folks directions on how to get here when the folks behind the bar are too busy and hand you the phone.... I do not give many 5 star reviews but this place deserves it on their Very delicious jumbo prawn sandwiches alone, the best I have ever had! It's not a fancy spot whatsoever, I'm talkin come as you are from the beach or whatever type of place. The sandwich is Super crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside with fresh veggies on a perfectly buttery grilled bun with a side of tartar sauce, devine! Had dinner there for the first time last night, (6/17/17) and it may have been the most satisfying dinner I have ever had. First, the outside from the street, it looks like nothing I would stop and eat at. Just kind of a dumpy looking building, but with reviews so high, I forged my way inside. Upon walking inside, I was surprised by the character of the interior, it isn't set up ,like a your typical restaurant. It was crowded and loud, but in a good way. It was full of life, people enjoying their company and their meals. The gentleman playing that night was superb and played a great selection of songs with professional expertise. I was looking for a place to check in to get on the wait, and almost missed it, but we got on the list and I ordered a beer, fellas, bartender here is very very cute. But I digress, so me and my girl get a seat and then the fun begins. We were recommended the red rock shrimp as an appetizer, wow, they did not disappoint, the seasoning was great, and the shrimp has a sweetness that if I didn't know what I was eating, I would have swore it was lobster. We also had the house salad which comes with a homemade basil vinaigrette that was something I had never tasted before but loved. An additional comment on the salad, I wish I could but lettuce so green and tomatoes so red. Great flavor for both. On to the entrees, my wife ordered the Fresh Catch plate with red snapper pan sauteed with white wine and garlic, along with cilantro rice and home fries. I had the Captains platter which included the fish, shrimp, and scallops. I had mine pan sauteed as well. And to top it off, 1/2 pound of king crab. Then for desert, we ordered the banana coconut rum cake, WOW, I couldn't have asked for a better desert. Not sure where I found the room, but I'm glad I did. The food was just the best ever, I love seafood, wife claims to be "allergic" so I don't get to go often, so when I do, I tend to get glutinous, hence all the food I ate. But I have to tell you, this may have been the best collection of food that I have ever tasted. I left there food drunk and happy. Have you ever had a meal so good, that you feel on top of the world? Well, I'm sure none of you had, so don't judge me, I love great food. So if you are debating on whether or not go dine at Gettin Crabby, I have a question for you...Why?? There is no debate, go!! I'm planning on driving up from Fort Lauderdale one night just to eat, this time was a weekend getaway. I plan on eating here more often. Was not expecting the quality seafood selections here. Not much for ambience and ultra loud, but oh so good. Sat at the bar and had a bowl of oyster stew loaded with oysters and tasty. I love this place. The people are nice and the food is fantastic. They have these giant shrimp that taste like lobster--they melt in your mouth. I love the crisp salads. The fish dip is to die for--on crackers with onions and tomatoes jalapeños. I usually get the grouper with blue crab and lemon sauce--unbelievably good. Just had the most amazing sandwich! I love scallops and I live spicy stuff and I love bacon. So they have a sandwich with 3 big scallops wrapped in bacon. Holy shit! Don't let the outside of the building deceive you. Looks like a dark shanty but go inside and there are couple bar areas, plenty of booths, and an entertainment area. The menu has the most amazing seafood options. We had the special of the night which was the golden tilefish with crab meat. We also had the royal red shrimp which apparently are only caught during a red moon. And the crab bisque. Highly recommend all of them! The owner Mark serve us at the bar and was great. Glad we consulted yelp in finding a dinner place! We lucked Out and getting a seat right away but there were people lined up at the door when we left. read more

Saw all the great reviews here and decided to give it a try whila vacatiining in Florida. From the outside it doesnt look like much... but these are the best places. There were 4 of us and we had the following: crab cakes - comes with 2 crab cakes not as thick but they are filling and delicious and the sauce to dip them... YUMMY Mahi mahi burger - great size and delicious. Mahi mahi was cooked to perfection. Had it with fries and they were also delish Grouper with crab meat - delicious. Fish was so soft as well as the crab For sides, i really recommend the rice, it's so good. Fries were really good as well. We will def come back next time we are around! read more

I almost always order the Softshell Crab sandwich which is super tasty and their Crab Bisque, which is absolutely the best on the planet! Glad to live within a stones-throw of this local gem. Mark & his staff are always friendly, and treat us right. Plus, they have a new location next to downtown Publix in Stuart on Kanner & US1 :)) FWIW - I wouldn't be doing Crabby's or Yelpers any justice if I wasn't honest with our most recent experience at dinner on 5/4/2017; my girlfriend and Mom ordered the fish of the day special (Golden Tilefish) as a sandwich ($15.99)...and both were disappointed; piece of fish was literally 1/2 the size of the bun, and buns weren't up-to-par.
