One positive aspect was that when I informed the waitress that it was my son's birthday, I had hoped they would sing to him, as they did earlier for another customer celebrating theirs. The waiter kept attending to tables with orders. After a large reservation group arrived, we were ready to leave since we had finished. I politely asked a male waiter for a to-go box, a bag, and the bill. He agreed but ignored our request because it wasn't his table. I was already upset that no one acknowledged my son's birthday with a song. Later, another waitress helped us get a box and a bag, but not the bill. We spent $162 on our meal and expected at least a bit of consideration. Eventually, another waitress brought the bill. Our original waitress finally arrived, apologized, and gave my son a piece of cake, wishing him a happy birthday--something that felt missing earlier. I felt disappointed and, honestly, discriminated against based on how they treated us compared to other customers. Next to us was a white Caucasian family; their waiter, also white, gave them an extra to-go bag of all-you-can-eat seafood after they asked for one. Please read this before ordering on the app. Almost every time I order delivery through the Crab N Spice app, I receive the wrong order. I usually use my rewards (which require points), and those reward items are almost always missing from my order. When I try to call the phone number listed on the app, it's unavailable, so I end up having to drive to the restaurant to get my order corrected, which totally defeats the purpose of ordering delivery. The staff has told me this happens because the reward items don't print on the receipt--but that seems like a system issue, not something the customer should be responsible for. This has happened to me more than three times already. If you're wondering why I keep ordering, it's because the crab n spice sauce is really good, lol. I love getting the bag of shrimp and crawfish. There was no staff in sight. After what felt like an eternity, a server finally acknowledged me ten minutes later because the hostess decided to check in. She told us to wait yet another 15 minutes beyond the original prep time. Then, on a busy Friday night, I had to stand in a line just to collect my order. After all that waiting, when I finally got home with my food, I was shocked to find it was cold. The fries were lukewarm, the fish from the fish and chips was also cold, and there wasn't nearly enough sauce for our seafood boil. I can say with confidence this was my first and last time at this location. Firstly, we got there late, around 8:20 on a Saturday (which their AYCE seating cut off is at 8:45) and there were a few tables ahead of us. Technically, with the tables ahead of us and the timing, we wouldn't have made the cut off to be seated, but the hostess was sooo sweet and tried her best to make it work and found us a small table! Our server, who happened to be the guy we were chatting with at the host stand, was so cool and kind and helpful. He consistently checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed at all times, brought us everything in a timely manner, and was really sweet in joining in on our excitement with receiving the food (we'd been out and about all day and hadn't eaten so was starving by the time we got there). Unfortunately, we barely made it through 2 rounds of food but WOW! Everything was sooo freakin delicious, the seafood was good quality, big shrimps and crab, the sauce was amazing and made to order (we ordered a side of sauce and it came piping hot), and all the add ins were cooked perfectly! All the fried foods from the Cajun fries, fried green beans, and onion rings were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and super crispy! I wish I could've eaten more but over had such a great experience.
