Please read this before ordering on the app. Almost every time I order delivery through the Crab N Spice app, I receive the wrong order. I usually use my rewards (which require points), and those reward items are almost always missing from my order. When I try to call the phone number listed on the app, it's unavailable, so I end up having to drive to the restaurant to get my order corrected, which totally defeats the purpose of ordering delivery. The staff has told me this happens because the reward items don't print on the receipt--but that seems like a system issue, not something the customer should be responsible for. This has happened to me more than three times already. If you're wondering why I keep ordering, it's because the crab n spice sauce is really good, lol. I love getting the bag of shrimp and crawfish. But this will probably be the last time I order through the app. I'll just take the L and drive from now on :( read more

Came here after seeing the AYCE promo on social media and I was so impressed! Firstly, we got there late, around 8:20 on a Saturday (which their AYCE seating cut off is at 8:45) and there were a few tables ahead of us. Technically, with the tables ahead of us and the timing, we wouldn't have made the cut off to be seated, but the hostess was sooo sweet and tried her best to make it work and found us a small table! Our server, who happened to be the guy we were chatting with at the host stand, was so cool and kind and helpful. He consistently checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed at all times, brought us everything in a timely manner, and was really sweet in joining in on our excitement with receiving the food (we'd been out and about all day and hadn't eaten so was starving by the time we got there). Unfortunately, we barely made it through 2 rounds of food but WOW! Everything was sooo freakin delicious, the seafood was good quality, big shrimps and crab, the sauce was amazing and made to order (we ordered a side of sauce and it came piping hot), and all the add ins were cooked perfectly! My first visit to Crab and Spice in Carson was a complete disaster. I arrived 30 minutes before the original pickup time, and after waiting a bit, I approached the counter to check on my order. There was no staff in sight. After what felt like an eternity, a server finally acknowledged me ten minutes later because the hostess decided to check in. She told us to wait yet another 15 minutes beyond the original prep time. Then, on a busy Friday night, I had to stand in a line just to collect my order. After all that waiting, when I finally got home with my food, I was shocked to find it was cold. The fries were lukewarm, the fish from the fish and chips was also cold, and there wasn't nearly enough sauce for our seafood boil. I can say with confidence this was my first and last time at this location. Their fries are nice and crispy and well seasoned. however their rice was really mushy so definitely pass on that. The size of the crawfish was okay as well as the crab.
