It was a cute little cafe and the service was great. I got the Breakfast burrito supreme and the salsa on top had a funny taste. Other than that it was a great experience. Excellent restaurant for a great breakfast. However I simply cannot figure out why this place will not get straws to fit their glasses? Kinda hard to drink when straws only reaches rim of glass! Either use smaller glasses or supply taller straws. Funny because their sister restaurant, Mikey D's in Apache Junction does use the taller straws.... Just doesn't make sense. Opens early been there for years great service. Breakfast is good give it a try. I am the boing breakfast gal egg bacon hash brown.

Very pleasant experience. Came here with our 2 kids in on Saturday morning. The place was full but somehow they manage to get anyone seated in just a few mins. People consistently came in and they had a great system that definitely works for them. I was also impressed at them getting our drinks, orders and food out in a timely manner, I didn't feel like we waited long at all, and like I said, they were busy. Food was good, and the kids definitely enjoyed theirs as well. I can tell their food is consistent which I appreciate in a restaurant. Decided to stop here because of the good reviews....the gentleman seated promptly and was very nice, waitress started out good...but then got offended when the guy told her that I said the coffee was weak. From there she didn't come to our table until time to bring check. She checked on the other tables she worked but didn't come to ours! She didn't even check on us after we received our food. Then she left the charge for the coffee! Why would I pay for brown water with a hint of flavor!!! The bacon and pecan waffle was pretty tasty. Won't be back nor would I recommend! She needs to learn to accept that if a customer doesn't like something (which I wasn't the only person that mentioned the coffee was weak), that is my right...but does not entitle me to receive crappy/no service afterwards! read more

We used to love coming here until they decided to continually raise their prices and make their servings smaller. We decided to try it again yesterday. Their friendly waitress was so friendly that kept us waiting and waiting before taking our order while she visited with other customers. Called, person who answered said "no manager here right now," I had to demand to speak to an acting manager. Senior staff member that I spoke to blamed it on the supplier, I told her "the cook is the last person to touch the food before it leaves YOUR restaurant. She said she will let the cook know and also the supplier. She apologized and said call Door Dash for a refund and offered gift certificate for free breakfast. we've been there in the past and it was delicious. There must be a new cook, however. We took some out of state gas civil about a month ago and we were left at the back table with no menus. I had to go up and get them. And then none of the food was really good. Today we took my son from out of state and we were bragging about the biscuits and gravy shouldn't have done that for sure. There was no seasoning in the gravy you couldn't find but maybe one or two teeny weenie sausages in it. The toast was not rye toast that I'd ordered. Eggs were great. Hashbrowns were not crisp as I ordered and I'm not the only one in the party and everybody else had some complaints too, so in order to up your game, you need to up your game. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and had a minimal wait time to be seated, the servers were super busy but that didn't keep them from acting like every table was their only one! The food was amazing! The chef made the hash browns the best I've ever had at a restaurant. They were cooked perfectly! Soft on the inside and a nice golden brown on the out! I've been coming here with my friend Kim for quite a few weeks. The place is always busy which I take is a very good sign. Shelley has been our server more than anyone else. She takes very good care of us every time. The food is always delicious, especially the eggs benedict and all of the omelettes. The only opportunity for improvement that I could see would be if we had check out at the table versus going up to the cashier which is always packed with people. They do move people in and out pretty quickly and it looks like they are expanding, so that's a good thing.
