we've been there in the past and it was delicious. There must be a new cook, however. We took some out of state gas civil about a month ago and we were left at the back table with no menus. I had to go up and get them. And then none of the food was really good. Today we took my son from out of state and we were bragging about the biscuits and gravy shouldn't have done that for sure. There was no seasoning in the gravy you couldn't find but maybe one or two teeny weenie sausages in it. The toast was not rye toast that I'd ordered. Eggs were great. Hashbrowns were not crisp as I ordered and I'm not the only one in the party and everybody else had some complaints too, so in order to up your game, you need to up your game. I doubt we'll be back. read more

This was my first time visiting The Cozy Corner Cafe!! Ill start by saying that this was a fantastic experience! The staff was very friendly and my food quality was excellent! I experienced a quick turnaround time from when placing my order to receiving my food. It was so fresh that I even had steam coming out of my chocolate pancakes! My server Hayle was a gem and checked on me consistently. I also noticed her checking on customers by name, which makes for a personable experience! This restaurant is also very clean! WARNING: Bone found in Omelet. Ordered breakfast through Door Dash, found a piece of bone in my omelet. Called, person who answered said "no manager here right now," I had to demand to speak to an acting manager. Senior staff member that I spoke to blamed it on the supplier, I told her "the cook is the last person to touch the food before it leaves YOUR restaurant. She said she will let the cook know and also the supplier. She apologized and said call Door Dash for a refund and offered gift certificate for free breakfast. I will give the gift certificate to a homeless person but I will not order take out from here ever again. read more

It was our first time to this restaurant and absolutely loved it! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and had a minimal wait time to be seated, the servers were super busy but that didn't keep them from acting like every table was their only one! The food was amazing! The chef made the hash browns the best I've ever had at a restaurant. They were cooked perfectly! Soft on the inside and a nice golden brown on the out! Only complaint I do have is the pancake, it tasted like bisquick Highly recommend anyone who wants a nice breakfast/brunch to come here as soon as possible! We have had these new items five times over the past week, yum, yum! The place has had new paint, Wayne panel and new ceiling fans. Great neighborhood place with good food and reasonable prices. The wait staff is wonderful.

Decided to stop here because of the good reviews....the gentleman seated promptly and was very nice, waitress started out good...but then got offended when the guy told her that I said the coffee was weak. From there she didn't come to our table until time to bring check. She checked on the other tables she worked but didn't come to ours! She didn't even check on us after we received our food. Then she left the charge for the coffee! Why would I pay for brown water with a hint of flavor!!! The bacon and pecan waffle was pretty tasty. Won't be back nor would I recommend! She needs to learn to accept that if a customer doesn't like something (which I wasn't the only person that mentioned the coffee was weak), that is my right...but does not entitle me to receive crappy/no service afterwards! read more

I've been coming here with my friend Kim for quite a few weeks. The place is always busy which I take is a very good sign. Shelley has been our server more than anyone else. She takes very good care of us every time. The food is always delicious, especially the eggs benedict and all of the omelettes. The only opportunity for improvement that I could see would be if we had check out at the table versus going up to the cashier which is always packed with people. We happened to be in the same parking lot for another reason and we still had time for a late breakfast, a luxury these days, and we don't do that too often because we miss an old favorite that is no longer there and we like to avoid chains. The name sound enticing so we walked it. Wow, it was almost identical to our old favorite breakfast place, nut not cookie-cutter like a chain., although Cozy Corner is owned by one of our other favorites in Apache Junction. What can I say, i could fill this space with superlatives. The service had small town coziness, the ambience (that's such a bad word for a little family owned place) is cozy, and the food? Okay, it's not cozy, it was delicious and just the right amount, unlike some of those places that waste a ton of food trying to impress us with overloaded plates. We just call this place, "Mom's". The service is always awesome and the food great. It does get busy, especially on the weekends, so timing should be considered. They do move people in and out pretty quickly and it looks like they are expanding, so that's a good thing. Summer time you may get some relief on how busy it is, as some winter visitors have gone home. This is your hometown cafe and breakfast is the best. Enjoy. read more
