People love this place and that's cool. My last experience was a hot and miserable experience. Why is it so hot and uncomfortable? Can someone spend a little money on A/C or is there just fans? Honestly I won't ever come back here to eat ever again. The fact my omelette had a 2 inch stem in it which I chewed on and almost gagged on it grossed me out completely. Being I couldn't finish my omelette and after I let staff know she explained she wood let the cooks know to be more careful. Great! Thank you so much but it does nothing for my horrible experience with my dining experience! I wish I had the ability to give a half star. Good luck out there! Your business stinks of millennial lazy non caring business practices with a huge lack of management doing nothing! I will never have the slightest urge to eat at this place again! Better recommendations: Village Inn, IHOP, Denny's, and any other breakfast place in the USA. The service sector has died horribly and I just experienced what they're talking about. This is such a sweet little place. It is so much better than the unfathomably popular Iowa Cafe. Cozy Corner is not fancy, but it's got a fab tuna melt, nice breakfasts, and a friendly staff. Sometimes your server may get a little scarce, but once you catch her, she's great. The only complaint I have is that I wish they had longer hours, but then that isn't really an insult, is it? :) read more

I took my Dad her for breakfast and it's now our favorite spot. It does get a bit crowded so make sure to go early. They currently have curbside service due to Covid and the food is just as yummy as sitting inside. We have been here 5 times. Food was always great today must of had a different cook. Grits were lumpy, my egg was overcooked. My husband's omelette had a fried egg on it. Waitress gave us all the wrong food when delivered, my grits came out 10 minutes after all the food. read more

Great food, reasonable prices. We visited when my parents were in town and they loved it. A good alternative to the typical chain breakfast restaurants. The server was really attentive to our large party with 5 kids. Only drawback, Cozy Corner is so good that it's really popular! We were visiting Mesa and wanted to find a local hole in the wall breakfast place and found the cozy corner. What a great place! Busy with locals and regulars on a Sunday. The owner was taking the names and managing the seating while calling everyone by name. Someone would stick their head in the door and he'd say "2 today Gary?" And that was all he needed. Despite the throng of people waiting outside it took only 12 minutes for us to be seated. All the staff was friendly, helpful, and very busy with smiles on their faces. We had our coffee in a couple of minutes and orders taken as soon as we were ready. The place was really bustling with a lot of happy folks coming and going. We got our food after a short wait. The chicken fried steak was hot and crispy with great flavor. The country sausage gravy was tasty and didn't overpower the steak. I usually like the gravy a little creamier, but it was still very good. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly and fluffy. Too often, busy breakfast places overcook the eggs and chop them up as scrambled. These were top notch. The home fries were real, not frozen, potatoes sliced like scalloped potatoes and were also cooked perfectly. To top off this great breakfast, the biscuits were very flaky and also tasted home made. We found out the nice woman working the cash register was the mother of our server and her granddaughter was also working there! Great fun family restaurant which also happens to serve reasonably priced great food! Highly recommend!! read more

After reading some reviews, we decided to try this place out. We went on a Sunday morning and I was surprised at how quickly we got sat (there were multiple people waiting outside in front of us but we still only had to wait ~10 mins). Service and food was very fast. I had a mini veggie omelette and hash browns which were amazing. The coffee was also excellent. My husband got the corned beef hash. He said it was average but could tell it was canned and not homemade. All in all it was a good place, but we are still in search of some good homemade corned beef hash! read more

I would never go back here again. This place isn't just tiny and has midiocre foods. They didn't tell us in the begging that they have Only One table that have space for high chair or stroller and had us waited. Then they blamed on a new waitress who was actually nice trying to make a room for a high chair. Oh coffee tasted like sh**t. I don't know all these people drink coffee from where. Finding a good place for a simple breakfast isn't always easy. The Cozy Corner does fit the bill though. It is actually in a convenient location but still hard to miss if you are not looking for it. The decor is simple and the seating takes advantage of their space so they can efficiently take care of their guests. The breakfast menu has everything you would expect from a neighborhood cafe. Pricing is reasonable and the portions will not leave you hungry, but also will not cause you to hire a moving truck to take home the left overs which I think is wasteful at other places. Will need to come back to check out their lunch selections one day. read more

I had a lot of trouble deciding what to order off of the perfect diner menu at Cozy Corner, but finally settled on the Eggs Benedict. Then the helpful server asked: How would you like your eggs? Soft, medium, or hard cooked? I went middle-of-the-road and ordered medium. Five minutes later two PERFECTLY cooked eggs arrived on top of smoky Canadian bacon, with goey centers that drizzled out in a photo-worthy way when I pierced them with my fork. And the home fries were sizzling crisp on the side. An awesome meal. My only complaint: the restaurant doesn't seem to be on the corner of anything. Cozy, yes indeed; corner, no. But who cares when they deal amazing meals from their straight-arrow location? read more
