Always busy, reminds me of a small town cafe back home. Wait staff is very attentive!

The food was excellent and the service was great. Loved the waffle! It was worth the wait.

Had a dear friend introduce me to the Cozy Corner Cafe earlier this Summer as I somehow didn't have my phone with me, I couldn't snap a few pics on my initial visit. I was blown away with how good the food was as well as the awesome staff. I knew I'd have to bring my lady here to enjoy a weekend breakfast. So, this past Saturday, we stopped in and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. My lady ordered eggs benedict with a side of fresh fruit. I went a little bit off the menu and asked for a rare hamburger steak to go with my eggs and hashbrowns. I've posted a few pics of our visit. Our breakfasts were delicious and as usual, the staff (Jessica looked after us. Awesome job Jessica!) were awesome not only in their service but with their great humor! The family and I love breakfast. I've heard a couple people talk about this place but we decided to try it this morning. We were not disappointed! All the food was delicious. My moms loves the place can get busy in early morning but they have expanded their space

All of our neighbors say this place is great. There's always a line. So while it was still summer and we wanted to try it. Because ,once all the snowbirds come back to town it's beyond busy. Maybe we made a mistake going on a Sunday morning. It was a wait but ,very little and nobody minds that. The restaurant is nicely decorated inside with decades of cool restaurant items. I don't know if they were short people working on this Sunday or if it's always like this. We had many different people in the restaurant bringing our food and such. I got coffee but ,had to wait quite a while for a 2nd cup. The really bad thing is our food was not as we ordered it. I ordered Eggs Benedict with the eggs medium. They were so runny. I would've needed a spoon to eat them . I usually eat Eggs Benedict the way they come. The eggs should be somewhat soft but, not super runny. But, here they give you a choice. Next time I'll order them hard. Anyway, my dining partner had ordered sourdough toast. He was given Rye Toast. Nobody ever came by to see if the food was OK. So when someone did come by, he told them he had ordered sourdough. She said,well don't you like the Rye. He said, no I really don't ,that's why I wanted the Sourdough. Anyway, he got the Sourdough toast by the time we were done with our breakfast. The servers seemed to think that we were asking for something that we didn't order. When we got the bill it clearly stated the eggs medium and he had ordered sourdough. We will try them again on a weekday next time. But, I was not impressed. read more

My new breakfast go to place. Everything you've ever wanted in a traditional breakfast is here. Staff is fast friendly and accommodating. Get there as fast as you can because the place can fill up quickly. If large portions are your thing then try their omelet, the thing is so big you might want to order the smaller omelet! I've been to Cozy Corner Cafe two or three times in the past 15 years. In fact, it had been a long time since I came with friends and had breakfast here. I remembered that simple breakfast being pretty average. This time we ordered a couple of their melt sandwiches. It was just a quick, convenient meal choice. But after it was all said and done, it was a bit of deja vu in that, whether you're going for a sandwich or a simple breakfast, the Cozy Corner Cafe is full of nice waitresses who are super busy serving mediocre food. It's convenient. It's fast. It's a friendly environment and a local business, which we like to support but, for $20 or so, the quality of food has to be better than underwhelming. It's a tight fit for wheelchairs/powerchairs, and most of the seating is booth style so, not the easiest access. read more

We just happened in this awesome breakfast stop... and wow yes we were impressed. Good food, Great people.

This was my second time here and I was very disappointed. We were seated, served our drinks by someone other than our waitress and not acknowledged by her for ten minutes. She finally stopped by our table and said "I'll be with you shortly"... by then a couple was seated at the table next to us and their order was taken right away by a different waitress than ours. We finally had our order taken at which time the couple next to us got their food; 30 minutes later we received our food by who must have been the cook/dishwasher. No acknowledgement from our waitress and the couple next to us was getting up to pay their bill. Needless to say I will not return here. I am all about supporting small business, but this is one that needs some improvement on their customer service. read more

Stopped for brunch after hiking. As noted in other reviews, we anticipated it would be busy on Sunday. We waited for about 10 minutes. Hostess was sweet and very friendly. We ordered the chicken fried steak with 2 eggs over easy, hash browns and toast and an order of French toast. Clearly some mix up with wait staff regarding our meals being done. Both tables either side of us were served despite being seated after us. When our plates arrived, we were warned plates were hot. Food was lukewarm, eggs were not done and slime-y. Toast was covered in what appeared to be very fake butter and not melted at all. The taste was just okay. Had high hopes for this cafe after reading reviews but was disappointing. This place lives up to its name sake, you feel welcomed and at home from the minute they greet you, to the service and friendliness of staff. You feel like you're welcomed to families home, with a pretty diverse set of breakfast options, and great portions, you really can't go wrong. They were so patient and family friendly with our toddler, the banana pancakes were so moist and pleasant, the kielbasa sausage amazing, eggs fluffy-- my partner got the southwestern omelette, the flavor was spot on, while a bit over flowing with green chili. I love this place for the food and the atmosphere. They've got old school antiques on the walls and it's like dining in a museum. The waitresses work their butts off to keep this place going and do it with a great attitude. They have a really good turkey and cranberry sandwich on marbled rye and mustard potato salad. I used to live in the area years ago, and it's like nothing has changed. My pops enjoyed his bacon and eggs, which was $8.49 but included (4) strips of perfectly cooked bacon! The service was honestly my favorite part. The decor is sweet and it's a very cozy Cafe! The food good sized portions. It looks to be the kind of place with tons of regulars. I ordered the chicken fried steak with bisquits, eggs. It was delicious but needed spice, it was kind of bland. I ordered grits which were watery and flavorless. My girlfriend ordered the meat skillet. It was a smaller portions but so tasty. I will go back and try other things and experience the service again. If all the locals eat at a place, there's a reason and that reason is good food. The apparent owner was there greeting and sitting with the regulars to find out what's new in their lives. All the waiting staff seemed genuinely happy, glad you came, and that everyone there part of a work family. Oh, did I mention the food is good? I had the chicken fried steak (cfs) and eggs with over easy eggs. The cfs wasn't the best I've had by a long shot but, it was respectable and the gravy very good. I got the corned beef hash in place of potatoes and it was very good as well. The toast was actually well buttered and made good breakfast desert. This place doesn't need my review to help their business. They're doing just fine and will continue to thrive with a dedicated local following. read more

Ordered a Cobb salad with toast and a cinnamon roll with Postmates. I got a Cobb salad with random ingredients because they were out of what really makes a Cobb...Red pepper instead of tomatoes, etc. I picked up the container and water pooled in the corner. It ended up taking 13 paper towels to soak it up but I was so grossed out that I couldn't eat it and the lettuce smelled funny. The toast was burnt. And, the we're out of cinnamon rolls. They replaced it with a chocolate pancake but I can't eat chocolate right now. So, I couldn't eat anything. Postmates refunded some of it. New to the neighborhood and have heard good things about this little cafe. Food was ok , but the lady at the register with the grey hair must be related to or owner. She's very nasty and because we were sat close to the front we could hear her gossip about all the other servers. It was my understanding that our server was the manager so I'm guessing she doesn't always serve because she wasn't very good at it at all!!
