Coyle's was great! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted & sat right away. There was just a small group of three of us (our first time there). The waitress was so funny. She just made the whole experience their awesome! We had a heck of a time trying to decide what we wanted. Their menu was great, so definitely have to go back to try some more! All of us ordered the Crab Rangoon for ourselves, we each ordered some sort of sushi roll, and we all ordered chicken hibachi. Although mine was the only one that did not have vegetables, (requested). You get a lot of food! We have heard a lot of great things about this place and now I understand why. I visited this food truck for the first time and it was delicious! You order and pay at the window, and then they bring it out to your car after a short wait. I ordered the shrimp and scallops hibachi, and an order of crab rangoon. The hibachi was awesome, similar to what you'd get in any other hibachi restaurant. The veggies were really crunchy and good. The seafood was big and perfectly cooked. Get some extra yum yum sauce, and you're set! The rangoons were HUGE and so good! Lots of yummy filling, and the outsides were more chewy than crispy. They were awesome. I also thought the prices were really reasonable, especially for the appetizers! I've heard that they're getting a brick and mortar restaurant soon; I can't wait to see it! Chef came out and almost got into a fight with my husband because we said we weren't happy with our food because it was cooked badly. Talk about ego. We normally hate to complain, but decided that we would just call back and kindly ask for a refund and even offered to drive back and return the food. They denied our request, and the actual chef got on the phone told us that ramen and everything in it is SUPPOSED to be overcooked, and they would not honor a refund for that complaint. I have never heard of a chef saying that food is meant to be overcooked, that alone was ridiculous. At that point it became about the principle. After arguing on the phone for 10 minutes, they agreed to a refund ONLY IF we drove back to take the food. Once we got there the whole staff surrounded us and the chef came out yelling at me to my face to not insult his food. That is when my normally non-confrontational husband had to step in and it turned into a screaming match between the two of them. I couldn't believe what was happening. We were repeat customers and always tipped VERY nicely. Please stay away from this place. I have never experienced such horrid customer service in my life. We could have let the one occurrence go and continued to be customers, but the disgusting customer service is just inexcusable. Never in my life have I experienced something like this. read more

This place was really good for the price! We each got steak and scallop hibachi and shared a crab rangoon appetizer and a lion king roll. The portions were huge ! They were pretty crowded when we arrived so the service understandably took a while, but it was worth it. The only thing we weren't fond of was the decor. The building is pretty outdated . But if you can over look that it is worth a try. Definitely the cheapest hibachi in the area. read more

Great food. No alcohol. The food here is top notch. I had hibachi with chicken and scallops. Very good. I also tried a fried California roll and some crab rangoons. Those also were delicious. They don't serve alcohol, so if your favorite thing to do is sip an alcoholic beverage with your dinner, this probably isn't the place for you. They do have soft drinks and tea. The building is a former pizza place, which also looks like it has been a bar in the past. So, the decor is a bit mediocre, but the food is good and the prices are very good. Hibachi with two protiens, for example, is $13.70. A sushi roll can vary from $5.10 for a California roll to $24.50 for a "sumo steak" roll. read more

Coyle's has a new sit down restaurant in the old Winifred's location. I saw a couple reviews and knew I had to give this place a try. Overall 4 stars for cost, quality, amount of food and speedy service. We started with a rainbow roll and special Philadelphia roll and they were excellent. We also had crab rangoons and goyza appetizers which were good. The rangoons were a little chewy for my liking. Everyone in our group had the hibachi. There was a lot of rice with fresh crispy vegetables. I had the scallops and they were cooked well. The steak was also very good. My daughter had steak and calamari and didn't enjoy the calamari very much. My wife had the chicken which was very good. We got a lot of food including two sushi rolls, two appetizers, 4 entrees and drinks all for under $100 with tip. The food was good and no one left hungry. This is definitely worth a try. read more

Coyle's no showed for a wedding reception after being contracted. They didn't try to connect with the family. Poor business! Not what you expect to happen on an important day. From mother of groom. FRIDAY..my son got married. WE hired Coyles Food Truck along with another Barbecue Food Truck to feed our guests! They could not get into the parking lot due to parking! Instead of coming in, finding the wedding coordinator, so we could move cars...they just LEFT! THATS Right they just left! When we called them to ask what was going on..they said we could not get in the lot, so we're not coming back! And That was it! No discussion, no were sorry...they just hung up!! The best bang for your buck in town is the chicken hibachi and i usually get it at least twice a month (coyle's can take all my money)

My daughter made arrangements for Coyles food truck to be apart of her wedding May 24th, 2024. They were to feed approximately 170 people. They ditched us at the last minute and left a wedding venue full of people without food. Our families were shocked. Very unprofessional. Really who does that at a wedding? Awful, just awful! Absolutely do not recommend this restaurant for one simple reason-- they do not honor their contracts. They were hired to cater a friend's wedding. Due to their own lack of preparation and professionalism and their complete lack of respect and ability to problem solve--- they LEFT the wedding reception as it was starting, leaving about 300 hungry people. They then blocked the bride and grooms, their family's phone numbers and refused to answer. Thankfully the other food truck hired stepped up and helped out. This place is despicable. read more

This is the best Japanese/ sushi restaurant in town. The food was amazing and a great bank for the buck. I am genuinely impressed with the quality of the food, I had the coyles duo steak and shrimp, and it came with rice and stir-fried vegetables for $13.95 this could easily feed 2 ppl. The sushi was delicious, we tried two rolls and a few pieces of Nigiri. (The cedar rapids role and philedelphia roll very good.) They have a good selection of beer , wine and sake . The drinks are reasonably priced plus service was really good and quick. Our waitress was polite and very knowledgeable we learned it's a family run restaurant. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, the ambiance was cozy and had a authentic vibe. I like the fact the tables are private and you don't need to sit with strangers.
