We had to ask for the check then because we still hadn't seen our server after this. After requesting our check we paid $18 over the bill and waited for another 20 minutes for our server to come back with the change and he never came back even though he made eye contact with me 3-4 times from across the room. For how staffed they were, I would have never expected that slow of service nor the lack of checking back to make sure we were good (which was nonexistent). The food was subpar for the price and the after using the women's restroom, I won't be going back ever again. A large amount of water damage all down the walls of the bathroom and visible black mold. Definitely not what we were expecting for the amount of food reviews this place has but it's definitely one not worth stopping in for.

Our server Izzy was super helpful in getting us started, but gave us enough autonomy to cook our own stuff and enjoy the experience. The dinner started out with Banchan, which consisted of a bunch of small dishes that would be passed around - among the veggies, bean sprouts, potato's, salad, miso soybean soup, etc., the kimchi radishes were my favorite. Upon request (and free of charge), they'll bring out seconds of whatever you'd like. Then, they come out with a variety of meats that we cook ourselves (with guidance if needed) on the grill in the center of the table. Among the many, the ones that stood out to me were the brisket, lemon pepper chicken, and the miso garlic pork collar. You will leave FULL and happy. 5 stars. Thanks MIX for a great night!
